Join me on a unique cycling journey through Windsor, UK, where a 100Km training ride took an unexpected and memorable turn. On August 2nd, 2025, while passing through Windsor, I stumbled upon the Changing of the Guard ceremony — a centuries-old British tradition that never fails to impress.
The ceremony, which starts from Victoria Barracks, sees the Number 12 Company Irish Guards, accompanied by their iconic pipe band, march through the historic streets to Windsor Castle. I paused my ride, dismounted, and followed the procession, capturing every step of their ceremonial march through the town. This video focuses solely on the Windsor segment of the ride — highlighting both the beauty of the town and the rich tradition of the Guards.
Windsor Castle is one of the oldest inhabited castles in the world, home to British monarchs for over 1000 years

You did good to video AND walk with the bike. Crisp and sharp. Nice to see the lower side of the barracks. I saw you in the background of another YouTuber’s video.
