I've just tried fitting my 700c wheels to my old '72 Hetchins frame and realised the brakes don't have a long enough reach. I'd like to use the Campagnolo brakes as they're part of a complete groupset I'm fitting to the bike.

Researching solutions I found these offset brake shoes on AliExpress (2nd picture) for around £4 a pair.

They look similar in design to some more expensive and similar offset brake shoes, e.g. Blue Lug sell some, as do 4ZA and some other brands, but for much close to £25 a pair, plus expensive shipping from outside of the UK.

Being such a safety critical component, it's only a component I'd like to save money on if I know they're safe. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them? My thoughts are that if anything it looks over engineered with relatively thick aluminium construction for its intended purpose.

Also, does anyone know what brake pads might be compatible with them?
