It is a Joeblow Pro DX that I've had sitting in the closet for probably 7 years now in brand new packaging. I just took it out today and tried to use it for the first time but the base is leaking air. I can get air coming through the pump head when the tire valve is not connected but once it's connected and there's resistance, air leaks out the base when pumping.
I took apart the base and there's the check valve and it looks fine I think. Just seems like the spring is not strong enough for the pump to push air through any resistance even if it is a flat tire. There's also a package of accessories for what looks like inflating balls and balloons, but I don't know what the brass one or the steel colored one does. How do I fix this or am I somehow using it wrong?
