Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on a possible purchase.
🟢 Option 1: Trek Procaliber 9.6 (2022)
I’ve been offered a Trek Procaliber 9.6 (2022) for 1,050€.
🔹 Carbon OCLV Mountain frame with IsoSpeed decoupler
🔹 RockShox Recon Gold RL 100mm fork (with remote lockout)
🔹 Shimano SLX/XT 1×12 drivetrain
🔹 Shimano hydraulic disc brakes
🔹 Bontrager Kovee wheels, tubeless ready
🔹 Weight around 11.6 kg (size L)
The bike is in very good condition, doesn’t need any upgrades or fixes, just ready to ride.
Do you think this is a good deal for the price? How do you see this bike compared to Orbea Alma?

🔵 Option 2: Orbea Alma M50 (2021)
I’m considering another option besides the Trek.
It’s an Orbea Alma M50 (2021) for 999€.
🔹 Carbon OMX frame (modern XC geometry)
🔹 RockShox Judy Silver fork 100mm (remote lockout)
🔹 Shimano Deore/SLX 1×12 drivetrain
🔹 Shimano hydraulic disc brakes
🔹 Orbea OC components, tubeless ready wheels
🔹 Weight around 12.2 kg (size L)
The seller has just changed the tires, made a full service, and the bike has only been used lightly during summers.
Would you consider this a better choice than the Trek Procaliber 9.6? Or is the Trek worth the extra money?
Thank a lot for your opinions.
