This video shares the views on the Royal Canal from Allenswood, near Dublin City, to Mullingar in Co. Westmeath – before I departed the canal to travel to Athlone on the Old Rail Trail.
For anyone thinking of making the journey – it’s a great route – and I hope the video gives you a flavour of what to expect. Flat, no traffic, well signposted, not sure I can guarantee the weather….. 🙂
