I didn’t get to as many bike events as I’d like in 2024. A very good EMRA season at Mallory Park with some incredibly dramatic racing and a bizarre amount of fallers at Gerards of all places, often clashed with other events. I managed to take in the full Party in the Park BSB weekend at Cadwell Park which was rather well behaved on track (not so much off it!) considering the weather at times, got to the Bike Bonanza at Mallory, formerly the Festival of 1000 Bikes which had an incredible amount of stuff going on, and I only caught the one BEMSEE round at Donington Park and either forgot about the No Limits one or it clashed with something else which was a shame. As always nobody was seriously harmed in this video despite a couple of nasty offs. As usual the same themes apply. If you want to have a big crash on a small bike, Mallory is a good place to do it. If you want a big crash on a big bike, Donington is your best bet! It’d be nice to see some other clubs heading to Mallory in future, as the costs of running at some tracks now is getting to the point where it is causing the bike clubs to go out of business as the available venues for good money gets shorter and shorter, which is a real shame too.

It’s been a long time since I watch motorcycle racing and crashes. At first, I thought damn everybody got really fat. Especially the guys that are wrecking their motorcycles. Then I remembered oh yeah now they have airbag suits. They look funny as hell when they deployed, though everybody looks like a fat bastard.😊

My Mum was a nurse at Leicester Royal Infirmary back in the 50s or 60s. She hated race days at Mallory, having to tell wives and girlfriends of horrific injuries. Much better safety gear these days. I was never allowed a motorbike because of this place.😭
Excellent run off areas with not much more than bruises and lost ego's for the riders, which is more than can be said for the Isle of Man
