Marc Marquez was the fastest in qualifying for the 2025 Hungarian MotoGP. Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio will accompany him on the front row of the grid.
As usual, the qualifying session begins with Q1. The two fastest riders in that session advance to Q2 to compete for pole position.
In Q1 at the Balaton Circuit on Saturday (August 23, 2025) afternoon WIB, several top names took part after failing to record a time in the top 10 in the practice session on Friday (August 24).
Among those appearing in Q1 were Jorge Martin, Jack Miller, Marco Bezzecchi, Johann Zarco, Alex Rins, Fabio Di Giannantonio, and Francesco Bagnaia to fight for the top two spots.
In the process, Bezzecchi and Di Giannantonio were the two fastest riders in Q1. Both qualified for Q2 qualifying for the 2025 Hungarian MotoGP to fight for pole position.
In Q2 qualifying for the 2025 Hungarian MotoGP, Marc Marquez set the fastest time in the opening minutes with a time of 1 minute 36.822 seconds. Meanwhile, Pedro Acosta crashed low at Turn 8, flipping his bike upside down after sliding into the gravel!
With two minutes remaining, Marc Marquez still had the fastest time with a time of 1 minute 36.646 seconds. Marco Bezzecchi was second by 0.162 seconds. Enea Bastianini was third.
As time ran out, Fabio Di Giannantonio shot past Bastianini to take third place. Marc Marquez remained fastest, having improved his time further, followed by Marco Bezzecchi in second.
