In this one I cycle along the brown and smelly waters of the River Mersey towards the now half demolished Fiddlers Ferry Power Plant in Widnes/Warrington. Along the way I pass under both Runcorn Bridges and stop at the end for “THE NUCLEAR BUTTY”. It’s a very spicy sandwich with 4/5 different chilli sauces. Oh and when we arrive at Fiddlers Ferry, I’ll tell you some really fascinating stories about this peculiar power plant, including a terrifying ghost story.
