Welcome to this mini-tour of Provence, France! In this video, I’ll take you through the enchanting cities of Arles, Les Baux-de-Provence, and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Highlights include a visit to the Van Gogh Museum, where you can marvel at two original Van Gogh paintings and explore a replica of his iconic bedroom in Saint-Rémy. If you’re passionate about fine art and Roman architecture, Provence is a destination you won’t want to miss. Plus, we’ll also visit the birthplace of Nostradamus, adding a touch of history to our journey.

📍 First Stop: Arles
My day began in Arles, a city rich in Roman history and famous for its connection to Vincent van Gogh. I kicked things off at the Roman Amphitheatre (Les Arènes), where the €10 entry fee grants you access to one of the best-preserved Roman monuments in France. The views from the top are absolutely stunning! I then wandered through the old town, visiting the Van Gogh Foundation (€10) to see exhibitions that pay tribute to the artist’s time in Arles. The mix of Roman architecture and vibrant colors in Arles is something you won’t want to miss!

📍 Second Stop: Les Baux-de-Provence
Next, I traveled to Les Baux-de-Provence, a breathtaking hilltop village perched high above the Alpilles mountains. I explored the Château des Baux (€8 entry), a medieval fortress offering panoramic views that are worth every penny. The narrow, winding streets are lined with quaint shops and cafés, making it the perfect place to take a break and soak in the atmosphere. I also visited the Carrières de Lumières (€14), an immersive art show inside an old quarry—it was one of the highlights of my trip!

📍 Last Stop: Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
I wrapped up my day in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, a town that perfectly captures the charm of Provence. My first stop was the Saint-Paul de Mausole Monastery (€5 entry), where Van Gogh created some of his most famous works. It’s incredibly moving to walk through the same spaces where the artist lived and worked. Afterward, I visited the ancient ruins of Glanum (€8 entry), an archaeological site just outside the town. The ruins are beautifully set against the Alpilles mountains and provide a fascinating glimpse into the region’s Roman past. The town itself is full of delightful shops, cafés, and markets—I couldn’t resist picking up a few local treats!

💰 Travel Tips & Budget

– **Transport:** Renting a car is the best option for getting around, and it cost me around €50 for the day.
– **Food:** You can enjoy a great meal in these towns for about €15-20.
– **Total Budget:** Plan to spend about €100-120 for the day, including entrance fees, meals, and transport.

I hope you enjoy this vlog as much as I enjoyed making it! Provence is a truly special place, and I can’t wait to share my experiences with you.
