just get a mountain bike and low gear it?
Those deep rims don't help
sorry…the end at Super Planche des Belles Filles can go up to 24% depending on the finish.
Oof! I'm still fairly new to cycling but my daily commute has a 1 km long uphill section that briefly hits 20% in a couple of places. I can scarcely ride up those sections. Doing that for kilometres is mind-boggling.
Now you would want bigger cranks. And lower gearing of course…
The TDF organizers should consider these types of climbs, instead of having long tracks of 200+ kms, they should put world tour cyclists to test including sections like this, whats more, they should restrict the cassette range to 11-32 max, not 11-46 or 10-46 like they were using lately, no, go and prove you are a pro and you can pull an insane amount of watts. I bet Pogi will climb it at 20+ kms/h, but anyways, he will at least feel tired when reaching the top.
Better walk!! Omg!!!
u need MTB
who Who finish downhill😅
Its just the wrong bike for it. XC Bike for sure.
So… WHERE ? There's no mention of where this climb is, nor its name, either in the video nor in the description ! How ?
And those 16 were riding e-bike?
Use an xc mtb. You don't have the right bike.
Bill Burr is a cyclist?
somebody's mathing wrong here, cuz 22% is only 12 degrees. that looks way steeper than 12 degrees, like closer to 30.
Yeah, that last bit – that’s me after a 100m climb nevermind this abomination lmao
Sorry, gotta say that: sponsored by Pirelli 😂
16 riders knew the secret to this climb was gearing, tire width, and flat pedals- got it
Use a triple instead of a double? I love my granny gears!
so true …. maybe some dudes did it in 1930 if it was there already
where is this?
