My second attempt on a Zero S Electric motorbike to travel the West Coast of Ireland, the Wild Atlantic Way, from Malin Head to Mizen Head. The first attempt in April saw me washed and windswept off the road and trip at Spanish Point County Clare so I never completed the journey
This journey is approximately 380 miles of coastline and a total of 600 miles total journey Belfast to Rosslare.
Also my final attempt and one of my final journeys by Electric bike. Zero was neither reliable or suitable for long distance touring and had some weak manufacturing detail which was exposed frequently and as such what could be a great concept as future for motorbikes it isn’t and Zero is not the answer.
Dealers started to drop Zero and as such less servicing options became available and the big loser here is the retailer.
A challenge of a journey but delighted to have completed it.
