We took a Viking River Cruise in the South of France (Provence & Lyon).

The video will show you our time on board, what our cabin (room) looked like, what entertainment was available, food and drink, guided excursions, and the natural beauty of sailing the Rhone River.

The journey took us to Arles, Avignon, Viviers, Tournon-sur-Rhone, Vienne, and Lyon. We saw Roman Ruins, medieval towns, local art, and cathedrals and basilicas. We also sampled French wine and visited a vineyard to learn more about Beaujolais.

  1. Nice video , we just got back from our cruise from Amsterdam to Basel, and like you, we enjoyed the included tours and wondering in the cities by ourselves in the afternoon Thanks for sharing

  2. You get a full view of the river is available on the public space areas. No more life jacket wearing on board. You can now watch a mandatory video in our cabin. Breakfast can be served from a menu at your table. The terrace serves all three meals not just dinner. The machine coffee is just that, machine coffee. Extensions (self booked) pre and post are highly recommended. Not every day has a morning tour. There are also included tours in the afternoon and some evenings. All said the Avignon to Lyon cruise was one of our favorite.
