Today’s little video from our long cycle ride home …. From Montfort Sur Meu to Blain, trying to keep ahead of the rain…

We slept so heavily last night, waking to perfect breakfast in the lovely B&B in Montfort, before loading the bikes and heading out of the town at the start of what proved to be a wonderful day on the bikes…
.
It was overcast, but the clouds were holding into the rain as we cycled out of the pretty town through beautiful woodlands filled with nothing but birdsong.
.
It set the tone for the day, with empty, ribbon-smooth roads and just the most wonderful rolling countryside…
.
We stopped for a second breakfast, followed by a perfect Breton lunch of galettes and cider, before seeing the downpours that were to come. So we hammered on towards Blain, managing to get the tent up, just before the rain started to fall..

So now, after 92km, it’s time for a beer and to enjoy the memories of another great day on the roads of Brittany, whilst we watch the rain fall
