Stage 9 – the opposite/inverse of an exponential climb is a logarithmic climb 🙂
Or you could call it a log climb which should confuse a lot of people.

It seems like there will only 3 riders going for GC!
Where Lanterne says 'connected' he means a 5 hour+ drive! I guess someone at GCN said the riders will be flown from Grenoble to Figueres or something like that. Where Benji says 'less transfers' he means that the line on the map are shorter when in reality those are all in semi mountainous regions so those transfers still are long. 😉

Between stage 4 & 5 there is a 500 km transfer without a rest day – seems way too much. Wonder whether the teams do it directly in the evening after stage 4 or on the next day or they split it.
