Cant even ride a bike
Some cyclists do not follow the law 🤷♂️
At the End of the day we are pushing for more people to ride bikes but London isn't a very bike friendly city on the whole compared to city's like Amsterdam so of course cyclists are going to jump the lights .
How many drivers run red lights every day?
I stop as much as possible but I can see why people skip red lights on roads shared with cars. Trying to start riding again with cars can make you unstable for a moment and that can be quite scary when there are impatient cars. Sometimes it’s a decision to keep myself safe, as well as sparing motorists from getting frustrated. I think we also have to acknowledge pedestrians are also jaywalking all the time.
I use lime bikes a lot. Cus you're charged by the minute, it incentivises you to get to your destination as quick as possible… A few long red lights could add a couple quid onto your ride…not saying it's wrong or right, just how it is…
