Welcome back to Mr Darcy & The Ol’ Man!
In this video, we’re taking you to a truly special place: a village pub run by an Indian family that has become a thriving hub for British motorcycle culture. This is the very same pub you saw in our first “The Grubfathers” video (our new Food Channel), and it’s all thanks to their incredible ‘bike night’ which brings the community together.
We get an exclusive interview with the pub’s owner, who not only shares the story behind how this pub became a biker’s paradise, but also reveals a secret—he owns not one, but four pubs! We’ll take a look at the stunning variety of bikes on show, from vintage classics to modern cruisers and custom-built machines.
Join us as we talk to fellow riders, soak in the atmosphere of the bike night, and even take a moment to enjoy the quintessentially British scene of a cricket match on the village green.
This video is a celebration of community, culture, and the shared passion for two wheels.

Hey Ol' Man, ❤ the 🇬🇧 on the knee pad of your R-E Bullitt 500 Trials Replica! 👍
Ticks all the boxes, pub, Indian cuisine, choice motor cycles, the LL is an enthusiast, and the sound of leather on willow for the quintessential English setting; well done Pups.
ps courtesy, care and consideration fellas, looks like a good thing, don't FUBAR it.
Hi all, can someone please give me the address 😢many thanks 🙏
Good luck to Bhups and his team. Good to see that someone is flying the flag forBritish riding!
that looks awesome love to go! and support the pub! salute to you all! 👍👍👍👍
Let me add here Punjab is a small state in north of India 🇮🇳 around 300 km from Delhi to be precise. And there is no Punjabi cuisine it’s North Indian 🇮🇳
What a combo, a quality venue, top scran ,wets and bikes all owned by a biker.
Good on you both promoting this event. The Douglas was built 1955-57 and that one looks amazing.
Beautiful pub, cheers from San Diego.
Where is this, it looks great. Worth a visit.
Thank you, Bups. Congratulations on your obvious success. You've given me a Destination stop when I get across the pond… Thanks, Darcy and the Old Man, for sharing this fabulous place…
Yes a good night this one. Been going here since i was a little kid with my grandad who had fiat 500s. Used to go back when it hosted the cars too. Refreshing now coming back for the bike nights. After it was cancelled due to idiots a few years back.
4:25 Love the XR. The XT600 Teenere of the mid-'80s was similar.
Brilliant idea to keep bikers alive and getting more interested in bikes , great Man . ❤😊
That Curry and rice looks amazing, Mouth watering I could just down some of that 😋 👌
We MUST FIGHT against this tyrannical establishment to keep our traditions and freedoms. Well Done.
I live just down the road from here and in its hay day this bike night used to be mega, you struggled to get a car through the road, bikes double parked each side, it was wicked, had some fantastic nights on my bikes here, glad it's back ! great video
Awesome, looks great fun!
damn a lot of great classic bikes there guys…………………….good coverage, brings back some memories of past bikes hahah. there should be a pub like this in every town. It doesn't matter what you ride so long as you ride👍
Great mix of bikes, bloody good 👍🏻
I don't know what punjabi street food involves cold rice, curry and fries. But the bike meetup is such a fabulous event with so many rare bikes kept in mint condition.
If you search "Ashby Folville Bike Night" you'll see the videos of how busy it used to get. 20 odd years ago it was absolutely immense. The Cricket field was full of show cars, the field opposite was full of parked cars of the visitors. The roads were literally double parked both sides with bikes – you couldnt get a car through. Show cars were ridiculous things like Roush Mustangs, Vauxhall Carlton with a Spitfire Engine, Ford Pop Customs etc. Such an eclectic mix.
where is this pub?
You should go to Watton in Norfolk this Sunday the whole town is turned over to bikes it really is an amazing sight hundreds of bikes it happens every year.
Lovely to see a pub saved and well used 😊
Why are there no captions?
