Found a very uninspiring bike poorly listed locally (non-drive side photo can be great sometimes), managed to buy it for less than $300. Full Dura Ace 7800 groupset including wheels harvested, everything in very good condition. Going on the next 80s high end steel frame that ends up in my possession.
My question more relevant to this sub; does anyone here think that this era of higher end consumer road bikes will turn into classics worth keeping original, like what we are seeing with older road bikes? Or is this already happening, and I am just too old to feel the necessary nostalgia surrounding a bike this "modern"?
