[Music] He tears through the streets like a thunder’s roar. Rubber burns and the engine soarses. Rev bomb rides with a wild man’s pride. The world can’t keep up no matter how it tries. Rev bomb’s motorbikes got a heart of steel. Wheels spinning faster than the fear we feel. Lights flash like fire in the dead of night. He’s a rebel on wheels chasing freedom. Good morning all. It’s a Friday morning. Oh, what’s Rev got here? It is the R66 Plus. So, this is the one in the middle. Uh R66 is the old Detroit. The 66 Plus used to be known as the Michigan and the 66s is the sporty all in one massive great cruiser. Now side stand and a mainstand but for all intentsive purposes it is the new Michigan. Everything’s LED on it now as well. Look at that. LED front headlight, LED bulbs, spoked wheels, and of course, tubeless tires on this as well. Nice little engine. Very easy to get in. Horns at the front. Brake fluids there. Spark plug is right on the side. Easy maintenance. No panel removal. And you’ve got those uh feetboards, footboards, running boards, whatever you want to call them. Big brake pedal. Very easy to ride. And the one thing, you’re going to love this when I step on. We’ve got pass light, main beam, dip beam, indicators, and the horn is in yellow. Stepping on the bike. Start button, kill button. Nice wide mirrors. Look at that. Perfect view. You can sit these mirrors right out. So, there is absolutely no shoulder at all. They’ve lengthened these mirrors right out. And I forgot to push this little rubber bung back down. That’s better cuz I set the mirrors up this morning for me and for the customer. Very easy to adjust. You get little thing objects in the mirror are closer than they appear. So they say ignition switch is right down the front buried down there. And you’ve also got your steering lock which is just down the front under the head stock. Right, let’s turn it on. Look at that TFT display. Fuel tank there. Revs around the top. Miles an hour miles there. And neutral 1 2 3 4 5. You have a gear position light. Let’s fire it up. It’s got a nice little purr to it and it will sit around about 1,200 RPM. 15 12 to 1500 RPM. And remember to put your side stand up. Rev. Habit of mine. Right. Let’s get out. Let’s have a roll and put me feet up. Look at that. Absolutely beautiful riding position. Right. Where are you going? Thank you very much. Taxi driver. Right, we’re going to go do something different. I am going to have a different ride. We’re going to find a different route this morning cuz I feel like doing something different. And uh it’s been a full-on week. Oh, I got an itchy nose as well. Pollen in the air. Sun visor down. Let’s go. Very easy to see that display. Bright sunlight today. And I can still see it says 27 m 26 27 mph through the camera. And then we’re going to have a little run out and find a different route. Gear indicator comes up there. So we’re in fourth at the moment. Very easy to see your gears. Suspension is mid to hard, but the seat is darn comfortable. Really is a wide seat on this which hugs you quite well, unlike other bikes where you feel like you’re riding on a plank of wood. But you can feel that every bump through. through that suspension braking on it is obviously combined which is another good thing. Right, we are going to do a right here. Nice little telltale comes up on that TFT display and remember to cancel your indicator. Loads of buildings down here all for sale again. Everybody’s struggling to maintain rents. Everything’s going up in price, but this would make an ideal garage, this one down here. And obviously Richard lives uh down there somewhere that was out with me last night. This used to be Travis Perkins and it’s all shut. It’s all overrown. That would make an ideal garage. The yard space on that is massive. Was probably up for about a million and a half. Not in my luck. Not in my lifetime. Right, down we go. A little speed bump coming up. What’s it like over the speed bump? You can feel the bumps, but it does give you I like a hard seat and a hard ride because it gives you a positive reaction. So, you can feel everything on the road ticking over nicely. Look at that. 1,000 RPM. Absolutely spot on. Right, let’s get away. Let’s have a wander and let’s go down here. We’re going to go down through Simpson. Have a little run through Simpson. Few speed bumps to go over. And while we’re doing that, I can waffle on again. So, if you haven’t seen my Tuesday night toxic throttle, it is tagged up as bell end of the week. We went over to uh Toxic Throttle Club, the monthly meet, which was very enjoyable. met up with Matt and Kevin and all the boys and Guy and Will and everybody was there. But on the way there obviously coming up to the roundabout and gone down the side of the lorry and all of a sudden the right hand indicator comes on and he’s in the center lane. He would not have it. There was a few choice words and I do apologize for the swearing in that and uh once I got on at the roundabout everyone was blocking the roundabout as well. Sitting right in the middle of the roundabout blocking everything so I couldn’t get out anywhere. So yeah, a few more cuss words came out. Oh yes, I do get a bit high rate when I get an empty car. And well, lorry drivers, you wouldn’t expect it from a lorry. They’re meant to be professional drivers. Obviously, he wasn’t, but uh yeah, few choice words there. We had a a nice little run out yesterday, though, and we did Oakley Bike Club. That video is on the way along with a couple of others. ebike. That’s illegal. So yeah, me and Richard went out last night. We did Oakley Bike Club and we caught up with Vince and all the boys and we also caught up with Boo Rider as well. So Barry was down there as well, Boo. And we got to see Ruth McKer and Sarah. Lovely people. So it was good to see all the crew last night. The next one for us. Now, I did say when I did Toxic Throttle, I’d probably take a motor vlogger with me or a couple of girls. They didn’t come last night. They had other things to do. Oh, we’re going to the other bike meet now. Okay. We’ll see you Sunday. Oh, definitely. Yeah, we’re coming Sunday. So, if you happen to be coming down to Eclipse on Sunday, I have a couple of female motor vloggers turning up that are going to ride. They’re going to bring their own bikes. So, uh I might py up with someone. I don’t know yet. Depends what she’s doing. by about four or five offers for Pilly Partners cuz obviously following on from the Tuesday pill partner is not the old Pilly partner is not talking to me. She’s got the assign. Do Am I bothered? No. Speak to the hand. Can’t be bothered with drama and [Â __Â ] and all that. So, uh, do your own thing. Rev is Rev and I don’t do drama [Â __Â ] or anything like that. So, what you get with Rev is what you get. But I’ll tell you what, if you want to get a bike, get one of these. These are lovely. Uh MT Belly has one of these. He’s got the old Michigan and he absolutely loves it. It’s still going and his daughter Kira has still got a Lexs as well. But this new Michigan from Lex Moto, my god, it’s it’s nice. is you can definitely feel there’s a lot more power there. They’ve up the horsepower slightly. And we are going to be doing a walk around and a full review of this, but this is obviously customer’s bike. So, we’re going to be taking this one out, getting the mileage on. I have another one in the showroom that I am going to prep, get ready, and we’re going to use that for the photo shoot. So, we’ll get that one all prepped up for next week. And I got to remember, it’s a five-speed box on this. I keep trying to go to sixth gear. But there is definitely a lot more power there. You can feel it. The old Michigan were a little bit slow. This one coming on that back that even that back brake is really really good. Uses the combined braking and it go look it pulls you down well. So, ideal um bike for you. If you’ve got really short legs, you like cruisers, you want the sort of the Harleyiesesque look, it will do the job for you and they’re cheap as chips. 2179. The R66 and the 66 Plus sell for 2179. And obviously, you’ve got your on the road fees on top. So, just short of 2 1/2 grand. You ain’t going to go far wrong on a little 125 when you’re obviously your Japanese models that you’re looking at are going to be in the four five grand range. And if it’s something you want for a couple of years just so you can do your big license, then ideally something you want to keep for just uh running around and pottering around, this will do the job for you. It’s absolutely beautiful. Really like this bike. But obviously we’ll do the reach score and everything once we do the review. And I’ve had a chance to have a little bit more fun of one of these 66 Pluses. But in the red, the red on this color is really nice. It gleams. It really does gleam. And they’ve chosen the color well. Little black stripe down the tank. And of course, you got the obligatory sticker on there. Do not ride after consuming wine. Really? Oh, that’s me, Scupper then. And of course, always wear your protection. Yes, I know. Always wear a protection. I have two of them in my back pocket. No, no, behave. Behave. But what a bike. The handlebar position, the seating position. Even with my 32-in legs, I’ve got uh knees bent, but when I’ve actually got me feet up, I’m still at the bottom of the tank. So, it is really good. I’m enjoying this bike. I’m really enjoying riding the And it’s it’s great when you work in a garage and you get to test all the bikes and do your little reviews and you get a full honest review. I mean, what do I think of it so far? It’s okay. I like it. What do I What would I think of it after I’ve ridden it about three or four times, you will see my decision. But it’s very easy to maintain. The engine’s good on it. It’s an aircooled bike. And there’s not much to go wrong on one of these part. And the best bit is obviously the parts are really cheap and there’s load of add-ons that you can get for one of these. They do saddle bags for them as well. So you can go for the full like throw over panas and or the leather ones. They’re all on the Lex Tech products as well. So you can the sister company of Lex Moto and CMPO is called Lexe and they do loads of stuff on there. CMPO and Lex Tech aftermarket exhaust. I like the exhaust on it. I wouldn’t change it, but the gears are really smooth. 5-speed box. It does the job very well. So, yeah, definitely one of the bikes if you’re looking at a bike, as I always say, go and sit on a bike first before you make your mind out and go, I like that bike. Oh, yeah. Go and sit on it. See how it feels. See if you feel comfortable. see if it is the bike for you because a picture can sell a thousand bikes. It’s not till you actually throw your leg over it and go, I like this. And you can always tell when you’re in love with your bike when you walk away from it and just glance behind and yeah, that’s mine. And I do it all the time with my bike at the moment. I did with the GTR, I did with me 7, but obviously my Tiger now absolutely love my Explorer. And loads and loads of people obviously round it last night. I’m looking at Oh my god, look at all the extras you got on it. Yeah, there’s still few more extras to come on it. Oh, we got me Denali horns going on. They’re going to be on shortly. I’ve got my uh 20,000 mi service that’s going to be done. Uh we’re also looking at putting some extra uh switchbacks up the back, some extra stop lightss up the back as well and possibly a couple more spotlights up the front. We don’t know yet, but I’m forever putting bits on the bike. The next thing to go on is obviously when it turns up and it was ordered 2 months ago is my Givy top box to match the rest. I’ve gone for the 56. I’ve got a nice big wide top box to go on to take all my junk when I go off moto camping cuz I do a lot of moto camping during the summer. Just jump on the bike on a Saturday, go off, spend the day camping, and then come back home. Next one for me is going to be probably Cornwall when uh Jamie and the boys go down. So, I might decide do a travel lodge or something. I don’t know yet, but that’s another one coming up for me. Obviously, we got the uh rides of ides in about 3 weeks time. There is going to be details on my page of that. That’s going to be down at Tetsworth, which is the other side of Tame. And it’s going to be a charity ride for Ros’s Rainbow Fund. And as always, I’ve been hooked in to Marshall. Guess what I’ve got? Yeah, I’ve got Tail Gun again. I enjoy being tail gun back of the pack because they know when Rev rolls in, the last person is back and they’re promised they will get a point for me. As soon as I roll up, there’ll be a point in my hand. That’ll be good. And a bacon roll, please. But uh we’re currently in the process of burning loads of coasters for Emma’s. Naughty nod. And we’re also burning loads of coasters and bits and pieces for Ros’s Rainbow Fund as well. So that’s all in the process. And of course it all the people that supply me with stuff. All my suppliers if you’d like to start sending me stuff please to give away on the charity store because they’re going to be doing their Rosy’s rainbow raffle if you want to send me some stuff please and then I can take that down in my big top box and donate that away. So, uh, all my boys, send me some stuff, please, and you’ll get a mention on the live stream or on some of my videos. And it’s always nice when the guys send me stuff. Got a few more giveaways this week. So, if you’re tuning in on a Friday, don’t forget normally I’m going to see if I can do it every Friday. It’ll only be one or two items. It does take me absolutely ages to post stuff out because obviously I have to box it all up and then I have to try and find time to get to a post office to send it. Someone said, “Why don’t you use in post?” I’ve never used it in my life and I don’t trust it. Um, they have said now that Royal Mail do collections from the house. So, what I might do is when Mrs. B is at home, get the rest of it parcled up, leave it by the front door. When they knock, they can haul it away. So, that’ll be all good because you can do pre-post. Just go on Royal Mail and order your postage and get your label printed as well. Handy. Right, we’re going to do a hill climb. What’s it like going up a hill in fifth gear? So, let’s get ourselves up to 40. There we go. Nice steady uh 42. That will do for me. Between 40 and 45 for the first 500 miles. Let’s climb the hill. And at this time in the morning, probably Mrs. B will be coming down the other side. So I might go beep and go up past my village and then back down the other side. So climbing the hill, hold that throttle exactly where it should be. 42 41. And this is obviously one of the steepest hills coming out of Milton Kees. 39. You lose a couple of miles an hour. Oh no, back up to 40. Engine’s still pairing away at just under 6,000 RPM. So, it’s definitely holding the revs there and it’s lost about a mile an hour, that’s all. But, it’s plotting along well. We are 7 mi in. Do love doing these long test rides. It gives me a little bit of a chance. So, I get a feel for the bike, how it rides, what it responds like, how it handles, and you get an honest opinion as well. But so far, there’s nothing I don’t like about it. Not at the moment. Anyway, obviously tanks a little bit smaller than what you would expect on the LXR or the RX1. Don’t know what the tank size is. Go and check the spec, but it looks to be around about 12 L. Right, we’re going to come off here. The other thing obviously yellow buttons or at least you’re going to see them in the dark, aren’t you? Yellow horn and yellow indicator button. You’re not going to miss it. I would have preferred white ones, but I suppose it’s it’s different. It’s something different. Right, coming up the side here. All the cones are still up. They’ve been up here for the last year because they’re still trying to figure out what to do with this slip lane because people still turn down here the wrong way. Even though it has a dirty great big two big round no entry signs there and two little ones as well. And it’s quarter 8 because I can hear an alarm going off in my pocket. Shush. Right, we’re going to go back around here. Hello RB village. And back down to the garage we go. 8 miles on the bike. We’re off. And into fifth gear now. Big yellow, big green sign there that says two lanes from the right. And this here back there coming down to your carriageway is a merging turn. So the left lane has to make way for me. Let me out. Here we go. And cancel the indicator rev. Yes, we have. I’m being so good today. Only reason I forget is because obviously my Triumph has self-cancelling indicators. Quick test gives you 4 seconds. If you push it out and hold it, you get 15 or when it makes the turn and you come back, it cancels off. That’s the one thing I love about the Triumphs. BM do it as well. And poor old matey boy stuck behind me with his indicator on trying to get out. You can go. Look, there’s a big gap. Get out. I’m coming past me at like 55. Quick check to the left. Shoulder check. There’s the merging turn. Look in that mirror. Nothing coming. But look, absolutely no shoulder in that mirror at all either side. And I’ve got a great view of the left and right side of the road. Love it. Nice steady 42 mph down the hill. But once you run these in, they are good for about 65 65 to 70 they reckon at full bar. As say with any 125, you’re not going to get massive amounts of acceleration and speed, but it will keep up with the traffic on dual carriageways and main roads. Right down we come past Jolly Hunter’s farm shop. What a lovely farm shop that is as well. And then right opposite of the farm shop, we have the Shell Garage where I always get my fuel. Yes, V Power. And right there, look at that. What better? And you can hear that alarm going off now. McDonald’s is there. What a lovely little building that is with its drive-thru. [Music] Right, we’re away here. And just gearbox on this is just so fluid and smooth. Even just clicking down. There we go. All the way down to first. Back up to neutral. Now, the one thing that really annoys me is they put the neutral light there. Then it goes 1 2 3 4 5 because that’s not how the gearbox works. It’s one then half a click up gets you neutral then 2 3 4 5 and they’ve put the neutral light right on the end. That is annoying. I’d have preferred one neutral 2 3 4 5 but it is what it is. 9 miles in mini behind me and then a load of other cars. We’re off. And then the second set of lights should go green. Yeah, we’re away now. Luckily down here, it’s a 40 m an hour. Keep an eye on that car to the right cuz I have a habit of cutting over. I got in the wrong lane. I’m cutting over. Yeah, not today. You’re not. And then the only one to watch down here is the great pothole in a minute. So, keep left. There’s the pothole. And you get used to where all the potholes are in Milk Keys. Another one just here. Oh, they filled it. Look at that. They filled it. My god, they filled one, but they forgot the other then. And then of course back down past good old Dobby’s Garden Center with all the McDonald’s packets that are blowing around in the car park. Someone obviously uh stopped there last night and decided to chuck. Look, look at the state of all the rubbish in there. There’s a bin. They got to put a bin there so people can put the stuff in a bin. And of course, Pink Punters. Now, guess who’s going to be there this weekend at the Pride Festival? Katie Price. Yes. Someone said to me, “Do you realize Katie Vice is going to be at Pink Punters?” Lovely. Well, I won’t be going then. She’ll be down there with her new boyfriend who’s uh meant to be having a hair transplant. God knows her old he is then. She’s just had more surgery as well, hasn’t she? So, she’s forever having surgery. Wouldn’t see me sticking needles and god knows what in me face. Absolutely not. I’ll age gracefully. Thank you. And uh make do with a little bit of hair on the top of my head that I do have. Right, back into town we go. And I just hope Phil’s made me a cup of coffee, which we’ll see what he’s doing. I think at the moment he is doing a rocker cover and a coil pack on a uh I think it’s an Astra. We will find out. He’s been buried under that since about 7 this morning while I got all the bikes out of which I have a lot. And I see a young lady walking onto my yard. There she is. That’s our lovely Rebecca there. Hello, Rebecca. So, that’s our Beex that does our bike sales. Right, the R66 is going away. We’re going to get that out on the yard. that uh LXR I am about to wash and clean because that is going out at 11. Look at that. Look at it. It’s like bike city here at the moment. Right, we shall use the side stand on that one. Tuck that down. Lean it over. Yes, it does run on the sideand. And of course, you have to do the obligatory lean over to turn the ignition off. Now, locking one of these up. The key goes under the headstock. Spin the key. That will lock your handlebars. So that is the new R66 Plus. I like it. It’s really cool. LXR RX1. Now that is the June. That is insane. That has sold. The Aura is going out this week. You’ve got the Bilson over there. Phase is up for sale at 3195. And we’ve just taken this in off a customer that obviously can’t ride anymore. So just take it away. I have a little 50cc Peugeot kiz. If you fancy a secondhand 50cc, that’s going to be prepped up today and that will be up for sale. So, if you fancy a bit of that, let us know. Till the next time, be well, ride safe, and from Rev, here’s a big goodbye from me. [Music] [Applause]

cancelling your indicator's, whatever next lol. great bikes n roll on eclipse moving up a notch with new brands coming on board , the personal touch with each new bike goes a long way these days instead of those bike supermarkets whom get Stevie wonders love child to put bikes together no thread lock in sight.
Great video, I like the minimalistic branding on the new R66 range
I do like the fact they have changed all the lights to led and the new digital Speedo. The only thing I don't like are the handlebars. Much prefer the ape hangers on the original. Thank you for the shout out.
