Some of our trains have been updated with this solution, one rack in each end of the train car, usually two per train so total capacity is 24, a bit low for European standards but OK!
Much better than the previous way where the bikes would lean against a row of folded seats and against each other with a strap to keep them from falling.. (2nd pick is of another kind where the rack (for 3 bikes) is too tight for most modern tyres so people end up doing like the picture)
