Here is a work of love, started the build over Covid and out of spare parts from my Fat Chance.
I suppose some of you might call this a resto-mod.. it’s pretty much like all of my bikes, a bit of this and some of that..
This ride is 16 years in the making (at least I have had the SRAM Betsy Right Shifter for that long) and still brings joy to my eyes.
Not a single piece of Shimano hardware on this bike, SRAM, Kooka, Raceface, Paul Components Front Hub, White Industries Rear Hub, Mountain Tech Zero Flex front Brake, Suntour XC Pro, Ringle. The very finest the 90s-early 2000s had to offer.
