Just got my first road bike, a Trek Madone SL 5 Gen 8! Interestingly, I was able to get an SL 5 build with the Dark Star color way because the original SL 5 was in Matte Deep Smoke, but that frame was defective. Trek sent the LBS a SL frame set in Dark Star.
I have a Checkpoint SL 5 Gen 2 as well, which I love, but the Madone is amazing for climbing and agility. Really enjoying the ride on this bike!
