We’re back out in sunny Shropshire again and we’re heading over to a place called Attingham Park [Music] on the way there. Yeah. Thank God for electric bikes up these hills. Nice bit of dappled shade. We’re at uh 22 centigrade today. Perfect temperature and weather for cycling. Hardly a cloud in the sky. That’s a big house. Just coming over the old bridge at Acham. That’s the new road bridge. This used to be the main road many years ago. There’s the church. Very nice. Atingham Park is in that direction. We’re not going to go in there today. Mitten and Mermaid at Acham. That’s the old bridge. [Music] Oh, he’s a good blackbird. Yeah. Stopped at uh Acham Church by the river for our dinner and it’s squashed squashed tuna sandwiches in the bag today. Lovely. Let me try the bit squash but they taste good. Nice. Yep. You wouldn’t know the difference between that and salmon, would you? Really? Really good with the cherry trees over there. Cherries on them. Mhm. You see them, David? Yep. Yeah. Much small. Very good. [Music] Bit messy with the mayonnaise. Wash it down with a nice cup of tea. Some nice roses around here. Let’s have a smell. Oh yeah, perfume. Pure perfume. Beautiful. The cherry trees are coming to fruition. Let’s have a try one. bit sour, especially after you’ve just been having sweet stuff, but not bad. This is St. Eta’s Church where we’ve just had our lunch at Acham. We’ll have a look inside if we can get in. Mind the step. Yep. That’s a bit dodgy. You walk in, you confronted with a huge organ pipes and there’s this funny little goblin sitting in the corner. Yep. Very good. spiral staircase. Wow, I’ve just noticed how slanted the walls are here. They’re bowing out at the top. That must have taken some serious shoring up to stop that falling down. This is one of the biggest churches I’ve been in. Got a real mean and moody atmosphere to it. This one out. Lots of stained glass. That’s that thing they put uh is it burning incense in and swing it? I don’t know what it’s called. If anybody knows, let me know in the comments. Yeah, I don’t think the uh the camera’s quite picking it up here how bowed out these these walls are. I’ll have a look outside in a minute. See what’s holding them up cuz it looks like it’s uh ready to fall down. But it’s a nice church. Uh yeah. No wonder they can hold the walls up. That’s some serious shoring up that they’ve done there. You don’t have your local builder doing that. That’s somebody who knows what they’re doing. Criy. It’s like the uh the Whoops. The leaning tapa nearly went flying then. Yeah. Uhhuh. Just coming away from uh St. Eaters now or St. Etters, however you pronounce it. That’s the old Acham Bridge. Really nice, scenic. That’s where we just were having our dinner. Nice. This is the new bridge I’m on now. And that’s the old bridge. Got a bit more character. the old one than the new bridge. We’re back on the road again and we’re heading back towards Cretage now and coming around in a big loop from where we came from. Nice sky. [Music] If you can make it out on the camera, that has got a heck of a style about it. Like a Spanish massive Spanish villa. That’s a hell of a house that I’ve never seen one that style in England before. Lot easier on the way back in it. Yeah. Slow down. Yeah. Flying me face. These are nice. I believe they’re called red hot pokers for obvious reasons. Just coming into a place called K now. Some nice houses here. Yep. You’re not short of quid if you live out. Very nice. That’s the old post office, 1907. Nice little bridge. Just coming back over the other way now. One vehicle at a time. This is nice. Just coming up to the church here now at K. Nice.
