Tour of Denmark Stage 5- Audio Commentary
Hobro › Silkeborg (157.4km)
Final stage folks, looks like Mads Pedersen has a firm stranglehold on the over GC. Lots of exciting stuff happening behind him though. The second place rider overall rides for a Continental level racing team and is outperforming most of the big teams.

And hey everyone, we’re back again. Couple minute break there. Uh I’m actually 2 minutes early for this one, guys. 2 minutes early. So we just had a fantastic stage uh second stage tour of Roman uh for the women’s world tour. Great stuff. Straight into this one, guys. I did look here early this morning and I was considering doing this all as one super stream if you want to call it that chat’s open guys. Okay, perfect. So if you ever see that uh I have that little holding page is just the thumbnail as a holding page. It’s just so I can get my YouTube launch so I can see the chat so all you cycling uh nutters can get in here and share the information with me. So, we got Oliver Studio 12 here. Evan’s back already. Be Flares and Cleo. All these dudes have been around before, I’m pretty sure. Let’s jump in, guys. Here. Let’s see the situation. Stage five, final stage, guys. What about yesterday? Mads Person. Unbelievable. Been a pretty interesting race so far. I’ve been kind of having a quick look at it. Yakob F. Gil Sanks here, guys. He’s in the breakaway. I’m pretty sure this is his last race ever riding for the national team of Denmark. Eight riders up front. Marius Dah, this dude here is in a fight for the uh King of the Mountains jersey. And we looks like we’ve lost Hogstead. 43 seconds back. Okay, I’m going to get all caught up here, guys. What’s going on? So, there’s been a battle the whole time between uh Conrad Hogstead and Marius Doll. I know for a fact Conrad Hogstead was in the break on day one. He finished third overall. Marius Dah must have been there as well. Yeah, he was. They were fighting all the way. No, he wasn’t. 55th. They were fighting on another day, but Marius Dall is trying to get this uh KM jersey. He’s currently in the lead with 70 points. So, looks like he’s taking it away from Conrad Hogstead there. Matteus Merberg’s there. Uh Madsword Schmidt. These guys are all in the break today. So, 24 points here for Daniel Vice Neielen, 12 for Conrad Hoget, who was trying to get into the points earlier on. I saw that quickly when I started my other stream. I think it was way back here. Yeah, take a look at the first sprint uh K point today on the far left hand side of the screen. Uh Mary’s doll got 12 points. Hogstead, Conrad, Hogstead got four. Then we’re going to go to the second point. Marius Stall got him again. Conrad got him there. At the third point though, Marius Stall still on the break gets 12 points again. Hogstead’s not involved. I think Hogstead got left behind in the Pelaton somewhere in this section here. Uh, wow. It is 7,087 days that Yakob Fugalang made his debut in a professional race. Darwan Vanderin March 22nd, 2006, guys. Almost 20 years ago. Today is uh day 1189 race day for Yagab Fugosen. 3 years and 94 days on the bike racing. Okay guys, where are we on course right now? 37.6K to go. Mads Person’s not here. It doesn’t look like he’s going to bridge back on. Although the Pelon is only 42 seconds back. We might see Mads Person do another super bridge back on like he did yesterday. Let’s take a look at the actual GC whilst we’re here. Mads Person has a 58 second lead over Nicholas Larson. Really cheering for this guy to keep the second place position. Uh Continental level team rider. Obviously he has ridden pro before pro series level. Uh now rise for a continental level team. And then we have Lucas Kubis in third place. Le here dominating four riders in the top 10. Uh Alex Cagard here. Oo good thing about this guy here too. Uh, how can I do this here quickly? I’m going to do this quickly, guys. I just noticed this yesterday. Alex Cigart right here, who’s riding for lotto right now. He’s 22 years old. Is transferring to borrowing victorious next year. So, he’s with Lotto, it looks like, till the end of the year. He’ll finish out his year here and then move to Bing Victorious for next year. Probably a really good move for him. Jump back in. I should have my second page open, but I don’t probably do that right away. Mads Anderson looks like one dude has gone off the front. Yeah, it looks like a bit of a I might be a Decathlon rider. Let me have a look. It’s not. It’s an Air Talks Carl’s Ross rider. Is that who that is? Sure doesn’t look like that on the jersey. He’s probably wearing a jersey in the race right now. Uh I’m going to figure this out for you here, guys. So, one rider is off the front right now. And it’s saying 42 seconds back to the Pelaton. Jakob Fugalang 5 seconds back. Marius Dah. No more points left for him to get. So, he’s got the KM jersey. So, great job for him. Marius Dah, he’s the Kathlon uh development team rider. So, great job for them. Got some good points there. And I’m going to catch up with the chat here, guys. Let’s turn that up a little bit. Douglas train. Hey, call. Nice to see you here, lol. It’s been a long time since the tour of France. I know, right? Uh so guys, I just did a stream before this. If you want to see some more cycling coverage, go check out the uh tour of Roman women’s tour. Uh really good race this morning. Awesome climb, Sumas TZ O M A Z. A climb I’ve never heard of. 12.8 8 km at 8.1% gradient. They call it a category one. That’s an HC to me, man. Thousand meter climbing in 12 km. That’s brutal. Uh really good finish there. Go check that out. I just didn’t want to have it all as one stream. Trust me, that was my plan yesterday, just to roll it through because obviously I guess just for views of my videos. I want to keep everyone around. Just being selfish, Colin. Um, but some people are only looking for the tour of Denmark. Some aren’t looking for the tour of Denmark. So, it’s better to separate them and hopefully everyone comes back in. Uh, Tim Oh, we got Tim here. Tim Yops. Tim Yops. Uh, you think Kubis will secure the GC podium? Take a look at the actual GC here. He’s probably riding right beside Mads Patterson right now. Uh, he’s 118 back. He’s got a 4se secondond gap. Ooh, it all depends what lead does here, right? Jacob Solderquist on stage three won the time trial pretty handily as well. Uh, he’s sitting in fourth place with his team leader sitting in first place. Dude, I I think there’s going to be a battle for that podium. There is going to be a battle for that podium. So, here’s this dude here. He’s the Swedish National Time trial champion. uh first place overall on that day. He’s sitting in 30th after day one, 30th day two. That first place in the time trial. This is why you need a time trial at every race, guys. Every stage race should have a time trial. And obviously, it should have a sprint stage and it should have a climb stage. Let all the specialties of cycling be represented. Uh make a stage for breakaway days. That got him into third place overall. Let’s take a look at that time trial quickly. Uh you could see here he was 6 seconds ahead of Alex Cigard who’s another incredible time trialist. Matt Patterson was right there as well. 14 seconds back. Nice UCI points for all these teams. Nicholas Larson. This is where this guy did it right here. Says he’s riding for continental level team here. Nicholas Larson. Let’s have a look at him. Uh yeah, BHSPL Beton Bourneholm. uh did ride pro Series for Uno X mobility for quite a few years. Started out in Team Koquick. Team Coloqu is actually at this race today. Uh so Team Coloqu is another team that’s been around a long time. Wrote five years for UnoX and now at BHS. We still have one rider up the road. Uh this dude knows how to win this race, too. Won it way back in 2019. That was Nicholas Larson. He’s sitting at second. I’m cheering for that guy to get second. Uh, let’s just bounce back again, guys. Maybe we’ll take a look at the virtual right now. Yeah, the virtual is still the same, too, just with the time gaps. The group up the road is 42 seconds. There’s no one in this group right now that can take away from the GC. Best place rider is 10 minutes and 48 seconds behind Matt Person. Mads Anderson, who’s leading the race right now, he’s 1427 back. So, we’ll hang out here for a bit. I’m going to go through the chat here. Love the chat, guys. Yeah. So, right now, attack going off the front here, it looks like, or it’s accelerating. Uh, Vizma’s on the front. Alpison to Coinic. Looks like we got Picnic Post NL in the mix. Yeah, Pelton’s really stretched out here, guys. The front 30 40 riders single file all the way. Time to accelerate and bring these guys back. 33 km to go. Uh, we’re going to do three. Well, we’re going to go with that little bump four times. That’s going to tear the field apart. It was about this point yesterday when Mads Patterson said, “See, yeah, I’m gone.” Just bridged up by himself uh with an Well, he did take one rider with him. He took another Mads. Uh who was that? The Mads Mads rider for the national team. Uh that would have been Tell you who it is right now. Mads Verge Schmidt, Mads Verge Schmidt and Mads Person went up the road together yesterday. Eventually, Maz dropped them right before they started the circuits. It was on the entry of the circuit and then Maz I didn’t think he’d make it. I It was so far out. He had 30 kilometers of solo riding minimum by himself. Evan saying, I guess after yesterday, Lidle has 41 wins with 11 different riders. They’ve had a good season. Absolutely, dude. It’s too bad their team got ejected from uh the women’s tour of Roman. Like they would have probably had more wins there, too. Don, good. Dawn’s back again. Don, it’s been so long. It has been so long and definitely shock and we are in the pipe. 5×5 here. Loud and clear, boys. Loud and clear. Don says he’s just sat through two minutes of ads to try and help get this algorithm. Yeah, dude. It’s all about that. It’s all about the algorithm. And you know what, guys? I’ve been doing this now since January of 2023. I still don’t understand YouTube fully. Uh, you know, let’s say you’re I’m just going to use ballpark numbers. Let’s say you get 10,000 views of a video. So, you you could look at my videos. I explained this to Joey, too. Let’s say I got 10,000 views a video. That doesn’t mean everyone watched an ad, right? You can go on a video and sometimes sit there for two, three minutes and not see one ad. Sometimes you might see 10. It’s whatever YouTube decides to do. Uh, so like when I look at that I’m like, “Oh, you might think, oh, you got so many ad views, you’re making so much money.” No, I don’t. Maybe only 40 or 50% of them actually saw an ad. And you need to have a lot of ad views to make anything. Uh, Clement here is cheering for Mads Person. But, uh, Don, I do appreciate that sitting through some ads. How far back is Larson the GC? I think he’s 58 seconds back in the actual GC. This is Nicholas Larson here. Yeah, right here. Here’s the time lag. He’s 58 seconds Mac. But to me, guys, if you look at the top 10, it’s all World Tour teams outside of Uscadel Uscadi. Uh that is a pro series team here. So, this will be Axel Vanderuk. Okay, this is strange. It’s saying he’s Uscadel us. Oh, next year he is. Actually, he’s a trainee as of August 1st. Okay, this is showing his old jersey. This is Mat Solar Watt here. So, what we can do here is go to the start list again. Uscodel Uscad right here. And here’s Vanderuk. Oh, brothers are on this team, guys. We got brothers here. Vanderukes. Are they twins? 25 years old? They’re not, I don’t think. 24 years old. One’s from the Netherlands, one’s from Poland. So, we got the Vanderukou Bros here. I think we talked about this yesterday. So, he’s on a Pro Series team. Uh, but what I think is really cool about Nicholas Larson here, he’s fought his way into second place by having a really good time trial and just getting really good finishes every day, season pro, uh, but riding for a continental level team in second place overall. So, I think that’s really cool. Unibet Titma Rockets at 118. 20 second gap there. I think this guy’s a savvy racer. I think he’s going to hold his second place position today. Think he’s going to hold it. If uh Lucas wants to take second place, he’s going to have to go on the attack, which Mads is going to counter every move. Uh yeah, one rider up front, eight riders chasing right now. Don’t have a full list of them here. It says I think there’s eight riders there. 53 seconds to the Pelaton. Yeah. Yeah. So, Larson’s 58 seconds in second place. Tim here, do I think he’ll secure? Yeah, he’ll get third place today. How many KS less, Dar? Uh, Darl, we got 28.6 km to go here. It’s going to start ramping up right now. One rider trying to get away by himself. 53 seconds. Is he going to hold off the Pelon? Probably not. Pelon’s really, really strung out right now. Uh, seeing a lot of Vizma riders in about positions 10th through 15th here. A lot of picnic riders scattered amongst them. And I think I’m seeing Uno X there as well. Three of them. Uh probably riders fourth through sixth once we get the camera on them closer. Really good turnoff for this race too. Really, really good turnoff for this race, too. Like the there’s fans all down the roads. I did notice at the tour of Romany on the climb there’s virtually no one. I don’t know if it’s maybe it’s really hard to get to. Maybe they had the climb closed for spectators. I’m not sure, but like there was like virtually no one on the climb. Maybe they maybe they shut it down at a certain point and then people are like, “Oh, we got here too late.” I could see that happening. You know, okay, we’re going to show up an hour before the race because you don’t want to stand there for half a day. Uh you get there an hour before and like, “Oh, we shut the roads down 6 hours ago, so you’re out of luck.” That’s my guess. Long time no chat. I got my coffee, two Lindsar cookies, breakfast champions. Absolutely. Absolutely on my mind here. I did a quick check upstairs on Doggo. Joey Jojo is back asleep. Don, two ads came in as you were talking about ads. Yeah, dude. YouTube. Uh they they’re going to fire ads at you guys because it’s it’s an ad sharing revenue system. They take the majority of the ads, not me. So, it’s all and it makes sense. It’s all set up through them. Like the only way I can make any revenue out of this is by the ad views. Um, but they take 60% of it. So, they want to fire ads at you guys all the time. Trust me, I get them to when I’m watching YouTube as well. Big week coming up, guys. Don’t forget, we’re starting Lavalta in one week today. Uh, again, I mentioned earlier it kind of had a weird start time. I’m going to double check the start time. It seemed like it would have been a really late day in the start time. late in the day start time for me. Uh, which is great because I don’t have to be up at 4 3:00 in the morning, but it’ll be kind of a later day. And I think some of them do that. Uh, I think someone posted a picture in my Discord couple years ago, maybe it was last year, they had a at night time trial. Riders were crashing in the dark. Remco was just super ticked off about it. There’s a good picture of him, how mad he is. riders back here in the back of the Pelon calling for team support. Really, really good crowds here, guys. Like, there’s people lined up all along the roads here. This is a big deal. It’s also a Saturday, so probably more people can come out, but I I’ve noticed a really good turnout for the tour of Denmark. Incredible turnout. Uh, it’s a good thing if your stream is popping enough to warrant ads, you will see more pop in. Yeah, dude. You got to get monetized first. You need to get on YouTube. I think you need 1,000 subscribers and you need 4,000 hours of watch time alone before you can get monetized. And then yeah, it’s whatever. Just I don’t I don’t really pay that much attention to it. Yeah, there’s that too. You can go premium. But Douglas, you know what? Uh what’s Chris? Douglas has got a good point here. I pay 25 a month for no ads. Actually, my daughter Addison said that. She goes, “Callin,” she goes, “I’m surprised for how much YouTube you watch, you don’t have YouTube. What do they call it? Premium or red or something. U I I am considering it, but Douglas, I will tell you this. Uh sometimes when I look closely at a video, I’ll see one that’ll say YouTube Premium and it’ll show like a tiny amount of money that I get from it somehow. I I don’t really know what that means. What are we looking at here? We got a round pier. Okay, so there’s like a dirt road coming out around pier. Oh, it looks like people are maybe fishing or swimming in the middle of it. It’s probably like a contained area for them to hang out. I thought it was a fish farm at first. Oh, it’s ducks and stuff. Oh, yeah. Swimming with the ducks. That sounds great. You know what kind of water you got below you there, right? Just like duck mud, if you get my drift. People are out having a good time here, though. Looks quite warm out. Weather during the rest. Let’s check the weather here, guys. The weather here. Ah, it’s just perfect. This looks like a Calgary day right here. Uh 22 degrees. Denmark seems to have a summer that’s very similar to Canada. Got this for you though, Danish people. You do not have a winter like us. You have a mild winter compared to us. I’m already looking forward to minus 35 this winter, guys. Already looking forward to it. Things freezing off, cars not starting. Uh yeah. So guys, you can pay to have uh no ads on YouTube. I think all like most of the services are like that now. Uh, Clement, I use YouTube Music instead of Spotify and get no ads on YouTube. Okay. Oh, I see. So, you’re subscribed to YouTube Music. Dude, I didn’t even know there’s such a thing as YouTube Music. That’s one of my favorite things to do, guys, is sit around and uh probably do that later today, watch music videos of my favorite bands, blasting the music. I I watch it all on YouTube. Don, I have a YouTube TV subscription. not the same as YouTube Red. Okay. Yeah, guys. See, I don’t know about all this stuff. Uh, but I have learned a lot about YouTube along the way. Um, I think my first ever real paycheck is coming this month, guys. Believe it or not, uh it’s like I like to tell people basically for the first two and a half years of this channel, it’s less it was worse than working a minimum wage job because I could go pump gas for one day and make more in one day than I would make an entire month on YouTube. That just changed. Thank you so much. It’s because you guys are watching this now, enjoying this, interacting, liking the videos. Guys, please like the videos. I mentioned earlier uh I think it did a three-hour stream yesterday tour of Romany and a bit of Denmark at the end I think it was. It had maybe 400 views. Like it’s not good. It’s not good. Um this morning I woke up it’s got 1400. Oh, okay. I’m not saying that’s good either. You get paid for every,000 views of a video. So that’s kind of the starting point is a,000 views. And what you get paid is really not that much, guys. You can do some research and find it yourself. It’s like a handful of dollars. Uh so again, you’re still working for minimum wage, but whatever. Uh but it’s the fact that people found the video afterwards and that’s because you liked it and someone out there was surfing around going, “This video has been liked a few times. Let’s share this video to them.” Okay, enough of that. Charlie Aldana is back. Good morning from Colombia, dude. Charlie, what time is it in Colombia right now? Uh like number seven. Yeah, like like the videos, please. That’s the only way people are going to get to see uh what’s going back. Come back to Okay. No, I don’t want that. I’ve already got my internet figured out. Thank you very much. Uh oh, you get the clips. Okay. Yes, you get the clips. That must be the YouTube music we’re talking about. Wow. Super nice. here. This looks like a little steam wheeler boat they got going down the river here. Doesn’t look that green to me, guys. Uh, yep. Doesn’t look that green to me. Thought this was the land of green energy here. There’s a river boat going down the river. Black smoke belching out everywhere. Doesn’t bother me. Uh, that looks like a fun little trip to go on. Are climbing uphill right now, guys. They are climbing uphill. Slight little gradients here. Uh quite rolly again. Getting close to entering the circuit and that’s where the race is really going to take off. Now they’re saying there’s only one rider left out front. Mads Anderson. He’s been out front quite a ways by himself right now. And yeah, I missed the five riders get absorbed by the Pelaton here as I was dealing with the chat. Guys, I don’t know what race I should do this week. I’m really thinking about it as this is going off here. I want to show you this week coming up. Okay. Oo, I like looking at this tier, too. So, price hooking stats here. You can see Yonas Vingo has now signed up for the men’s road race championships. Uh, ooh, Ben O Connor has been announced for Lewalta. Looking forward to that. Alex Aron Buru for cycling classics tomorrow. Florian Lipoitz for Trey Val Veracine and the Jiro Delmia. Guys, I’m doing all those races. Those two races just mentioned there for Florian. I’m doing them. Those are one day races. They’re kind of the fall races. There’s like a series of races. They kind of lump it to like the fall classics. Saur and Venold who is in this race is doing the Deutselan Tour. Venard at Hamburger, that’s tomorrow. Matteas Vasic at Hamburg tomorrow. Uh Illan Van Vilder at the Deutseland, Max Shackman at Deutschand Tour. H now that’s the question I was going to ask you guys coming up. Take a look at this. Tomorrow we have the Hamburg Cycling Classics. That’s a one-day world tour race. Then on the 19th, that’s Tuesday, the Tour to Limousine. That’s a 2- one. So it’s kind of like third tier professional racing, but it’s a stage race. And what I like about it, it looks super hard. I still haven’t shown you guys a profile, but also on Wednesday, the Renewi tour starts. That’s a stage world tour race. On Wednesday, we also have the Deutseland Tour Pro Series. So, guys, I have so much going on here. Here’s where I have problems. Um, take a look here. Uh, okay. I want to come here. I want to come to Deutsanour. Four stages. I have to come back here. This is where I got to come to. So stage one, it starts Wednesday. If I go to live stats for that, it starts at 4:30 Central Europe time. That’s actually 8:30 in the morning for me. That’s not bad. So then I’m going to look at the Renewi tour. This is what goes through Colin’s head when he’s sitting around same day. Five stages here. Problem with this one, it overlaps with Lavalta. So I’m going to be putting in some big days, guys. Some big days. Okay, this one starts like an hour and a half earlier. This one starts at seven. I could probably cover both these races that day. So, this is the kind of stuff I think about or dream about, I guess. Let’s get back into this race. This is the one we’re in, guys. 16-second gap now. Mads Anderson will be pulled back. He spent uh a good amount of time off the front here. Time to reel them back in. On the front here, Alperson Coin on the front right now. Uh Picnic Posanel rotating through and Uno X. going to see me looking this way a lot now guys. Uh now I’m on the video. We got 20ks to go. Saying 16 seconds there. I’m a little bit of a time delay here. Remember I’m getting the world tour feed that’s provided to everyone through flow bikes. Getting ready to see the pelon coming around the corner. This guy’s just going to hang on as long as he can. Doesn’t have a chance of staying away here. So, I’m noticing here along these rivers here, they have a lot of these docks they walk out onto, and they’re big enclosed areas, so people can probably safely swim there, I guess. Uh, walk around the edges of the docks, use it as a dock as well for boats. Beautiful countryside here. I love it, man. Get me to Denmark. Get me to Denmark some. I need a D I need a Danish sponsor. That’s what I need. I need a Danish sponsor. I’ll come on over. I’ll do some commentary over there. So, I think we got one rider up front and then the entire Pelaton’s chasing right now. There’s no one off the back. They’ve all stuck together today. And you’re going to see here it’s going to be quite lumpy at the finish, guys, cuz we’re going to do the same climb four times. Three times as laps and then we’re going to finish at the same climb on the fourth descent. So, when you see me saying first, second, third, and fourth, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Um, okay. Hamburg. Dom wants Hamburg. You got a Ruby ad. You got Ruby ads. Okay, interesting. Guess you’re watching. Dude, I get so many Ruby ads now. I want to blow up my TV when I see them. And guys, all I used to do Ooh, Dathlon sitting on the front now, guys. Four riders from Dathlon driving the front right now. This is the development team, too. Let’s take a look at these characters for Decathlon right here. Arthur Blaze, Louis Chalet. These guys all did really good. I think Arthur Blaze did good at the time trial. Uh 14th overall. I remember Challe did good, too. Maybe slightly le um I think he was top 20. I’m going to guess 24th at the time trial. Again, all young guns, guys. He is a good time trialist. French rider third at the French national championships. Uh oh, under 23 probably and then on 21st at the elite level. Okay, so he’s developing Marius Dah. Ah, okay. This is the K guy. K dude right here. Not a time trial. Got 110 that day, but he’s been working on getting the KM uh points classification. Antoine Lot. I remember this name from the time trial too. 43rd. Oh, it was Antoine Lot who went on that huge attack yesterday. He tried chasing back to Mads Patterson. Got second place yesterday right at the line. It was T-Bore Delgos who caught him maybe 20 meters from the finish. Passed him, but this dude did survive. Probably finished a couple seconds ahead of the Pelaton. So big effort by him yesterday, too. Wow. Love it. I was really cheering for him to stay away as well. Teams pulling right now. Uh the D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D Danish national team, BHS Pelon, that makes us BHS Pelon and Team Picnic. So they’re easy to see. I didn’t see BHS, but that makes sense because they have a dude in second place overall. Conti level teams, let’s go, boys. Let’s go get it. Uh yeah, guys, so lots of cycling coverage come. They still haven’t brought this guy back yet. Uh here we’re seeing a 13-second gap. I’m seeing a 5-second gap here. There are attacks coming right now. Got a rider attacking up the right hand side of the screen now. Going off the front of the pelaton. Quite fast pace here. He gets to the front. Yeah, he’s going to go right past that rider. So, he’s trying to go on a solo break attack right when they make that capture and maybe they’ll forget about him. Uh this is uh Mullberg, I think, who that was. Let’s see who this is. I need to jump back a bit here, guy. I think it’s Gunner Malberg. I think that’s who that is. And I need to get the team figured out here, too. Uh, hard to tell by his jersey right now. A lot of red and white on it. Just trying to figure that out. I’m going to give this a refresh because this is all changed here. Now, Mads Anderson is back. He’s already back in that team, in that group. guys here. 1% 3% there’s a 7% kick over the top. Rinse and repeat over and over. It’s kind of weird how this one shows different gradients because they should be going up the same climb every time. That should be like a seven and a three or maybe it’s a five and a five on both. But we’re going up the same climb over and over here. Looks like about 5 km laps, I would believe. And we’re rocking, guys. We are rocking here. Oh, someone just got blown right out the back here. Who is this? Oh, it’s Gunner Melberg. The guy that went on the huge attack just got blown right out the back and said, “I’m done.” So, were there points on that line that he was going for? Yeah, he went on a huge attack and then just It’s like he’s got a flat tire now. Lead trek on the front. I can see one lead rider driving the front right now. got my eyes on. Okay, I’m looking for the BHS riders is who I’m looking for. Want to keep a good eye on them. Uh, so it was Matteas Malberg. This dude right here, I think his name is Matteas Gunnar Malberg. Uh, he went off the front and it’s been brought back already. Now it’s saying little trek to the front with five riders. Uh, they’re interspersed with other teams right now, so I’m not seeing five right on the front. Three laps to go, guys. We’re over the first descent. Yeah, Leot Trek is on the front. Couple riders near the front anyways. Pelon’s really strung out right now. Seeing if there’s anyone way off the back here in the distance. Got a long camera shot here. Couple riders dangling. Probably six riders dangling off the back. Is there anyone else back there? Yeah, back to the pelpon. We got an Alpison Deco Coin rider here. Number 34 for Alpas decoynic. That will be Jimmy Jansson’s here. Let’s take a look at Jimmy Jansen’s. 36 years old from Belgium. So he’s just sitting off the very back of the Pelaton now. Uh and we’re just doing our laps, folks. Uh Matt Person will win the race today. Got the road flag dudes out for the road furniture. National team on one side with lead alrech visma on the other side. Yeah, lots of road furniture here. Lots of those mediums with one sign. Just looking at a bit of a flashback here. I think there are groups still off the back just getting through that first finish line ascent. Uh yeah, lots of breaks in the road here. Kind of I wouldn’t say it’s dangerous, but if you’re riding further back in the Pelon, you better have your head up to see that dude right in front of you. Lead trek on the front right now. Three, four riders up there. Let’s get over here and have a good look at this guys as I stare at the screen. Two lead riders on the front right now. That looks like an Alpison rider might be trying to sneak up on. Yeah, road furniture again. Ooh, some took the wrong side. It’s a hard right-hander with a big median right in the middle. So, they had to go out around the medium then come all the way back around it. Mads Person sitting third right now. So, two lead riders riding the front and I think that’s one in fourth place as well. Uh, who has the youth? Who’s got the ute jersey? I was going to say the ute jersey is uh Jacob Solderquist Utes. You guys know the Utes. The two Utes. Um, he’s in fourth. He’s sitting right behind Matts Patterson. Probably going to be his lead out man at the end. Mads is probably going to go for stage one again. I would lead Trek. Yep. says right here is pulling the Pelaton. Evan wonder how many how teams do their selection for the tour to France or any major do they reset after the tour to France. Dude, I there’s so many races going on. Like I think it’s a constant juggle in the schedule figuring out who’s going where and when. You know, like there’s dudes here. I don’t know who example, but there’s dudes riding here that’ll be like take one day off, maybe two days. They’ll travel probably do a short ride somewhere. I don’t know where they do it and they’re off to the next race. Some guys here might be doing the Hamburg Cycling Classic tomorrow. It’s possible. Uh I would have to go through every single rider and figure that out. But let’s just take a look. So actual GC Matt Person his next race. So he’s going to have a week off to the VA. So just training. Uh Nicholas Larson second place. So he has a race called these are races in the Netherlands, lower level races, but he’s got races on the 30th and the 31st of this month. So he’ll be off for a couple weeks. Lucas Kubis. Oh, that’s not what I wanted to do. Lucas Kubis here. Okay, here’s a good example. So Lucas Kubis will be finishing this race today. Uh what is it? The 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th. So he’s got three days in between. He will be riding his bike. Lead Trek is driving the front hard now, guys. Three Trek riders out front. Matt Person, fifth Trek rider is uh Solderist in the white jersey, the Ute jersey. Lots of corners here, too. I think the entire uh Trek team might be here at the front right now. One rider just pulled off. I just saw that he just literally pulled off the front. So, Chu, Trek Riders, obviously Mads Person, Solder Quest. The fifth place guy is the dude that’s in the other jersey. It’s more red. So, let me just back up here quickly. Start list. I’ll tell you who that is right now. Nope, that’s not what we want to do. Uh, not Sodos, not Scalamos. I don’t think it might be Saurin Craig Anderson. He’s in a slightly different jersey. Nope, not him. It’s more red on it. So, I’m not sure who that is. Not Ryan Gibbons. No. How about Martin? Okay. I’m not sure what I was seeing there, but I’m seeing it. There’s That’s a Lead Trek rider. More in a red jersey right there. Matt Person’s pulling away, guys. Matt Person has gone on the attack at 12 km to go. Looks like two lead riders with him and one Vizma Lisa bike rider. That Vizma Lisa bike rider probably gonna be Alec Axel Zingle. Did I say it right this time? It is Axel Zingle. So Matt Person, I’m seeing four here, guys. Four riders. Let me just Okay, where is he hidden? Where’s Axel? Okay, there he is. Right there. Matt Person is doing all the work. Then he’s got Jacob. It is Saurin Craig Anderson. He’s wearing the different jersey. He’s wearing that jersey cuz he’s the road race champion of Belgium. He’s just not It’s just not showing in the picture here. Okay, got it all figured out, guys. So, the entire Trek team was up there before. Now, Mass Person, GC leader, is on the front driving. His teammate Jacob Solderquist is in second place. He’s in the youth jersey. Sauron Craig Anderson is there as well. One other rider from another team, Axel Engle. And there are three riders coming up. I think Lucas Kubis just bridged back on. He did, folks. Lucas Kubis just bridged back on. Seven in the front group now it looks like to me we’re seeing five here on the uh PCS but there’s seven unless it shatters apart again now Jacob sitting on the front Jacob lead rider Sa and Craig Anderson Axel Engle Matt Person Lucas and two more riders there as well jerseys I think they’re going to be I think one’s a BHS rider I wonder if that is Nicholas Larson Could be Nicholas Larson there, guys. Uh, let’s go back to Lucas Kubis again, guys. Like, how do they decide what races? Look at this dude. So, he’s going to finish here today, 17th, 18th, travel home. Might be home in a couple hours. Uh, he does the Renewi tour that starts Wednesday. And then there’s all sorts of other races here. I’m looking at the program on the right hand side of the screen. So if he does the Renewi, he can’t do Valta Hispanic because it starts on the 23rd. Renewi tour is 5 days and that’s a big race, guys. I’m thinking I should cover that one. So that’s Lucas Kubis there. What’s Saur and Craig Anderson doing next? Okay, nothing planned for him right now. Two, four. Yeah, seven riders in the front, guys. uh at three track riders. Yellow jersey, the blue jersey of the leader, sorry, blue jersey of the leader, white jersey of the youth classification. Saur and Craig Anderson in the uh red jersey, the national champion jersey of Denmark. Uh Lucas Kubis is there. Oo, Jacob is putting the heat down into the wheels, folks. Stretching them out here right now. I still don’t have full class. Here we go. Nicholas Larson. This dude. Yes, dude. Second place overall. I’ve been cheering for this guy the entire time I’ve watched this. Awesome. And again, he went on the breakaway on day one. Nine rider breakaway. Actually, it was five. Five more came on pulled by Mads Patterson. One poor dude fell out the back for a mechanical. Nine crossed the finish line at the same time. Jacob Anderson Solderquist just powering up the front. It’s Axel Zingle sitting on his wheel though. Uh, we also have Matteas Copeki here for team Novo Nordisk, fifth place yesterday. I think this is the rider that Yeah, I think he was in a breakaway one day and had a mechanical and fell back. I’m positive. So, oo, look at this. Alex Ziggart’s trying to bridge up, too. Now, he is a time trialist. I think he got fifth place overall at the time trial on stage three. Sorry, he got second place at the time trial on stage three. Belgian national champion in the time trial. Sorry, he’s not. He’s ranked third at the Belgian national time trial championships. First place. Uh guys, as soon as I said that, I should have corrected myself. Remco, Remco, Florian Burmese, and Alex Cigarth there. Uh time trial championships for B uh Belgium. Bouncing back again, guys. 7.5K to go. Alexart trying to move up. This is probably going to help him pick in the GC. So maybe Alex is fifth in the GC then. Maybe that’s what I’m thinking. Yeah, I just said Alex. Alec. Alex Cigart fifth in the GC. Trying to bridge up. Trying to take some time from the Pelaton. Jacob here. Uh, arm flicking Lucas through, I think. Yeah, I think this is Lucas coming to the front right now. Instantly arm flicks again. That he probably spent 3 seconds at the front in his arm flicking. Dude, you got to do some work up there. You got to do some work. Uh, Alex Cigar here can see them just up ahead. Putting in a huge time trial here. He does have 10 seconds on the Pelon right now. That’s what it’s saying here. So, was that Lucas in the front? It’s He’s the only white jersey there. I’m not sure if that was him for sure, though. Mads Person on the front against uh Sa and Craig Anderson there. Road furniture. That’s a bad corner. Ooh, Lucas and Saurin almost bumped. They might have bumped each other there. Their speeds both really dropped. I think they did make contact. There’s road furniture right in the middle of the righthand bend, probably separating the traffic going either direction. They went on either sides. They came back together and I think they clashed. Just a quick little shoulder bump. Their speed just dropped by like 10k an hour each. Mads on the front. Jacob’s going with them. Okay, that is uh Lucas right there. That is Lucas there. And we got an attack by another rider trying to bridge onto them. Oh, it’s Matteas Copekki. That’s the Novo Nordisk Rider coming up now. Uh jerseys are kind of like predom a darker bluey with green accents. Jacob is going up front now. Mad’s just sitting on his wheel. So we got three at the front. Axel Zingle comes back now. Four riders up front. Sa and Craig Anderson driving hard to catch up. And that means Lucas Kubis is actually probably 10 meters back right now with one other rider. It’s probably going to be Nicholas Larson there. Okay. Uh 6.1K to go, guys. Uh Evan just missed it. Okay, you got that there. T Roven Mads is definitely going for the stage one today. Yeah, Clemon, this is the last stage today. This is stage five of the tour Denmark. So, I’ve done all five stages so far. Four stages so far. Uh and he’s got a 58 second lead. Evan, what race website? I’m using pro cycling stats, dude. So, if you get a pro cycling subscription, you can see what all the races they’re going to be at. Uh, I do have a premium account because, dude, I’m one of those guys. If I like an app or a subscription service and I use it a lot, I’m going to go primo every time. Uh, I did point out earlier, there’s a couple other guys I’ve seen doing commentary. Uh, actually, one guy came into my channel one day way at the tour to France and then basically the next day did exactly what I was doing. So, I was like, “Dude, I’m cool. Okay. Yeah. Draw from group one. Lucas Kubis and Nicholas Larson. They’re just behind though. So, we have a group of five up front. Two chasers. So, that’s second and third place overall have been dropped from the front group. They should stay ahead of the Pelaton. Matt Person just pulls over to the right hand side of the road. Has a quick look back. See where his competitors are. He’s distanced himself from second and third place. Dang. Dang it. So, Mads will maybe get the double win. That’s from Clement. Yeah, he could get a stage win. And yeah, Mads has the GC, guys. He’s got a 58 second gap over second place, who is now 10 seconds behind on the road. That is the Continental level rider uh Nicholas Larson for uh BHS. Lucas Kubis is back there, too. He’s third place overall, 1 minute and 18 seconds with more time added on to that now. So, my thing today was if you look at my description of the the video, which I know most people don’t read. I just do that every day. 4.3 kilometers to go here. Uh, Mads has won it. We all know that. Outside of something really unfortunate happening, uh, it’s the battle for second, third place. So, I’m really cheering for the guy in second to stay in second. Axel Zingle is right up there at the front. Five riders in the front group here. Three of them are Trek riders. So, full domination by Trek here. Lead El Trek. Evan’s going to love that. Uh guys, next weekend too, just so you know, the for anyone that’s like super new here, it’s going to look different next weekend. Uh you’re going to we’re going to have the stats page running as well. I’ll I’ll use this a lot. Uh Lavalta’s got a really good data center I can use for more tracking and we’ll also have bike terabac so I can show you individual groups on the road. I can zoom out and give you helicopter shots like in a virtually built world that’s going to give you very very good rough estimations of where they are. It’s not going to be individual riders. It’s more of where the groups are on the road. So when there’s eight riders in a group, whoever’s in first in that group may actually not be in first. He may be sitting on the back. It’s just showing you a representation of where they are on the road. But it’s really good uh for clims. Everyone loves bike terra here. I know there’s new people here right now. You’re going to see it next weekend. Uh so Mads. Okay. T Roven, are you also doing the check tour? Uh dude, I might hang around for that. I know it’s on right now. I think it started a little bit later today. Uh check tour today. Where are we right now? 3 kilometers to go. Let’s do a quick peek at that. Check tour is live right now. So check tour is live right now. We got four riders in the breakaway. Uh yesterday’s check was awesome. Uh that stage finish. Wow. It’s a 2.1 race. So it’s third tier rung professional series stage race though. That’s indicated by the number two out front. Back to the tour of Denmark here. Excuse me. Have a sip of coffee here. Axel Zingle on the front right now. Jacob Solderquist coming up. Saurin Craig Anderson mad sitting in fourth. And Matteas Copeki here. Let’s take a look at Matas Copeki for a second. I knew it. So this is the dude. This is one of the big acquisitions by Unibet Tama Rockets. He is heading to the Rockets next year. So, he’s still riding for Novo Nordisk right now. Uh, this guy’s got a sprint on him, too. First place in the youth classification at a 2.2 race a while ago, third in the GC. Belwis’s Belgium Tour, 24th overall. Tour of Estonia, youth classification, sixth in the GC. Lot of good results coming in for this guy. So, Unibet got Dylan Grovagen for next year. That’s going to be the big sprinter. They got one of his leadout men, Elmer’s Renders. And they also picked up this prospect here, 22-year-old from the Czech Republic, uh, Matteas Copeki. So, Unibet is, uh, ramping up their firepower for next year, guys. That’s how you get UCI points. get those UCI points and get promoted in the World Tour Series. Um, yeah. So, I might hang around for the check here. It’s still uh what time is it? 7:16. Yeah, it’s nice and early. Oh, what are all these fake messages I’m getting here? Hi, we just I’m an HR representative from Indeed. We recently No, you didn’t. You didn’t review my resume. Uh, I love these fake messages. I always want to reply back and just something really nasty to them. Oh, work only 60 to 90 minutes a day and receive up to $300 a day for working 90 minutes. Come on. Who believes that? I’ll do my minimum wage uh cycling commentary if you don’t mind. I I believe in myself. I can do it, guys. I can do it. Team Colin here. Uh 0.8 km to go. 800 meters, guys. Who’s going on a long range attack? Who is going on a long range attack? So, we’re not going to see Lugus in the sprint. Who is the sprint beast here? This Copeki guy has a really nice sprint on him. Mads obviously has a really nice sprint on him. Take a look at Copeki here quickly. Yeah, big sprint. And watching the group here. Pelaton’s catching the two that row back. I want to see this guys. I’m not going to watch this anymore because it’s slightly ahead. I’m watching this here. Saurin, Craig Anderson, Matts Patterson, Alex Axel Zingle, Matteas Capeki, and then Jacob Sodos here. There goes Mads right now. Mads is accelerating right now. Huge explosion off the front. The only rider that reacts is Axel Zingle. He is clawing him back. He is in the draft right now. I don’t have any distance to the finish here. We’re probably a few hundred meters out still. Axel Zingle gets back on his wheel. Mads lets off. Too early. too early uh but just eliminated three riders from the sprint. So Matteas Copeki is out of the sprint now. Mad’s got step one accomplished. Now he needs to get rid of Axel Engle. However, Jacob Solderquist is towing uh Matteas Copeki back to the front. We got four riders back together. So Saur and Craig Anderson is the only rider that’s not there. I see stuff flashing up on the data screen. Not looking at it. Not looking at the chat right now, guys. Sorry. Uh, they’re all eyeballing each other now. Kind of kind of thinking this Matteas Cape dude might be pulling something out here. He’s sitting on the back all the way. Two Trek riders in the front. Oh, a clash here between Axel Zingle and uh, Jacob Solderquist. So, Craig Anderson is back. I have no idea where he even came back from. It’s like he just appeared on screen. He’s leading out Mads Patterson. Axel Zingle. Ooh, huge acceleration by Axle Single. Just getting right up beside Mads Person here. Mads Person half a bike length ahead here. Looks like he’s going to take this, guys. I’m just watching the sprint all the way here right now. Mads Person’s arm in the air. Axel’s going to go second. I think Jacob might have gotten third, though. Wow, that was awesome. That was a awesome. Yeah, deviation. Exactly, dude. Deviation. I saw too. See what’s going to happen there. I wonder if there’s going to be any uh relegations coming up. Uh, wow. I have no idea where Saur and Craig Anderson came from. I said it was four riders. I’m like, where was the fifth rider? All of a sudden, he’s there. So, he must have been sprinting up the backside to do a quick lead out for the 50 60 meters that he could. We’ve got Jacob here congratulating Mads Patterson. Teammates, I want to see the final GC. I want to see Nicholas Larson get second place overall. I think he’s got it. I think he has it here. So, we’re going to look at this here now, guys. Preliminary results. Trek first, third, fifth, and sixth. So, Axel Zingle did get second. Jacob did get third. Matteas Copeki did get fourth. Saurin Craig Anderson is the rider that came up out of nowhere. Caught me off guard. I was watching the video the whole time, too. Riders with the most stage wins per edition. 2025 Mass Person three stage wins surpasses uh Aventapole’s two stages in 2021. Let’s uh I want to see the GC. Yeah, there was a little bit of a sprint deviation there. Watching riders come in here. Trek riders all parked on the side of the road celebrating at this point. There’s five of them there right now. Who are we missing? Yeah, that was full domination by Mads there. Full domination. I thought Axel Zingle was going to get past him. Actually, I thought he was. And that Matteas Copeki, dude, if I see a replay here, did come up really fast onto fourth place there. He just was too far back when the sprint went off by Mads for him to pull it all back. Oh, chat keeps coming and going here, doesn’t it? That was at 77. Okay, so we’re back now. 718 719. Yeah, great win by Trek here. Okay, guys, here’s the GC. Oh, look at this. Oh, man. Oh, okay. General classification after final stage. Wow. Okay, Mads Patterson first place 128 back. Jacob Soldquist, they get first and second. My dude Nicholas Larson, he did hang in there though. Gets third place overall. 1 minute 30 seconds back. They got caught by the Pelaton. Uh, and that leaves that pushes Lucas Kubis down at fourth place for Unet Tama Rockets. Alex Cigar started the day in fifth, finishes in fifth. Saurin Craig Anderson for lead gets sixth place overall. Axel Vanderuk, this dude here, we looked at him earlier. Oh yeah, he’s going to Uscad us. Well, he’s a trainee as of August 1, so I think that’s who he’s riding for right now. Uh I think he held his position in seventh. Matteas Scalmos in eighth. Matteas Copeki breaks into the top 10 here in ninth place and Tibbor Delgroso secures 10th place overall for Alpas Deick. Dude, I think that’s great for Nicholas Larson. He did lose one spot, but here’s the attacking. Yeah, Saur and Craig Anderson snuck up from behind. He wasn’t on camera. Maybe it was just the camera angle. I couldn’t see him. It was four riders. He snuck up, sprinted past everyone, did a quick pull for Mads. Definitely led Mads out there. Mads has a two bike length gap over Matteas Copekki. Axel’s Engle is right there with Mads. Jacob comes up on the far right hand side. Ooh, yeah. Really good battle between Matteas and Jacob there. Uh there was a bit of clash of shoulders earlier on before this. I think it’s just kind of a racing incident, but yeah, Larson gets a podium. Uh oh, without time bonuses. Okay, so there was time bonuses there. So if there wasn’t time bonuses, Nicholas Larson would have retained uh his second place. He actually lost second place to Solder Quist because of the time bonuses showing it right here. There’s a 4-se secondond time bonus at the finish there. And were there time bonus? There was no there were time bonuses out on course as well at the sprint point way back at uh the beginning of the race just after kilometer 32 something like that. So it only would have changed places in this finish for Nicholas Larson, Solderquist, Dylan Vanarl, and Tour Del Roso. So Tour lost a position without No, I think he finished 10th overall though. Okay, last points GC wins for Mance Person. Well, obviously today uh before this would have been the Jirro de Italia and Perise. See what else we got here. Pvenance. I think someone mentioned Pancece yesterday. Wow, that was a really good finish. Nice sprint battle at the finish there, guys. Uh really pumped that dude got a podium. I’m going to jump out of this. I think I might jump straight to the check tour, guys. See what’s going on there. I think it’s still pretty early for me. It’s only 7:30 in the morning. So, yeah, congratulations Matt Person, GC winner of the 35th Postnord Tour of Denmark. Congratulations to Lee El Trek for uh dominating the top 10. And really a lot of congratulations to Nicholas Larson. This dude right here uh secures third place. Lost it on time bonuses, but that’s okay. That’s that’s a huge victory for these guys. Huge victory right here. A third place here. That’s great. Go back to home, guys. Let’s see what’s going on in the Czech tour. Not sure how long I’ll hang out in this one for, but let’s have a quick look. It’s 29 degrees Celsius, uh, 128 m of climbing. I imagine there should be a breakaway here over at the Czech tour. Now, guys, just going to add this in as a little add-on here if anyone wants to hang out and watch this with me. Uh, where we at? 60 kilometers to go. Been racing for 2 hours. do have a couple of important points coming up down the road. Looking at the profile here, kilometers 110 to 120. This is where the race is going to happen right here. I think either it happens or we go to a sprint finish. Yeah, Trek bikes are still good. Got it, dude. Oh, actually, and I have the check tour here. I can actually watch this, too. So, let’s get out of the tour Denmark. It’s at a holding screen now. Here is the check tour now. So, I can tell you exactly what’s going on over here over at the check tour. Okay, it’s still loading. So, it must be coming on right away. Uh, I’ll see what’s going uh at the check tour right now, guys. We got four riders in a lead group. Just want to see. Okay, I’m not that bright. It’s that one screen that’s always so bright, isn’t it? Yeah, that screen. That one does it right there. And I have no way of I cannot dim that screen. I don’t know why. I’m gonna have to figure that out today, guys. It’s way too bright on my eyes. Uh, Matus Consensi, Luke Betendorf, Casper Vandervood, and Dominic Rober. Where are these guys from? Voster ATS team. Uh, are they a Polish team? I’m going to guess they’re a Polish team. Actually, let’s go to the start list. Foster Polish team. Uh, all polls, one UK rider here. So, actually, yeah, let’s do that again, guys. Let’s go back to the start list here. So, we do have world tour teams here. We got team Vizma, Lisa Bike here. We have Sadal Quickstep here. Uh we have pro series teams we’ve seen equipo current pharma over atte bergos just recently team solution tech vinnie vant vinnie fantini pro series team to team novo nordisk they were also racing today at tour of Denmark so again I think it was Evan earlier how do they decide dude it’s probably like a constant shuffle of who are we sending where who’s on what also who’s going to be there in the competition against Ah, look at this dude here. This dude here, I just spot his name. Nah Zer Eratrayan rider. Uh, finished well yesterday up that climb. Abdulu Stron got eighth place overall yesterday. Actually, we saw two riders from uh team Ukio UK YO. Uh, it was also an Alisandro Venilu got second place overall yesterday. Here he is. Stage two, second place overall, guys. Sits second in the GC right now. Let’s have a look at the GC here. Uh we’ll come back here right now. Actual GC. We know who number two is. It’s Aleandro. Uh first place, Junior Surf. Yes, that’s where Utbrooks pulled the three riders all the way up the hill. Last 150 meters, Junior went on a big attack there and uh took first place. probably some time bonuses. They were very close together, all these riders, so there’s some time bonus calculations put in there, too. Santiago Umba for the O XDS Estana development team. We saw him on course. Uh there’s Nahomes Array sitting in 12th place right now. So, lot a nice mix of teams here. This is where we’re seeing the junior guys come out to play with the big boys rolling along here. 58 km to go. Uh yeah, Dawn, great stuff by Mads. Uh yeah, Evan, he’s laughing at Dawn there. Yeah, Evan is our ultimate lead supporter. Still waiting for my video feed here, guys. Hopefully, it’s not too long today. Uh so, what I’m going to do here is finish off tour of Romany tomorrow. That’s going to be a good stage. Uh, and then Monday, I think I might So, I think Monday’s an off day. I don’t think there’s anything going on in the world on the 18th. Why don’t I look at that right now whilst I’m here? So, here’s all the upcoming races. Okay, this guys, this just showed up uh in between this stream and the last one. The last thing I looked at was Yonas going to the World Championships here. Now, they’ve announced Yasper Philipsson is signed up for the Hamburg Cycling Classic. That’s tomorrow. So, Yasper was at this race. Sorry. Yasper was at the Tour of Denmark, guys. I have no idea where he finished, just to be honest with you. Like, I don’t even know. Uh, I can look here quickly. Tour Denmark. Actual GC. Where did Yasper finish? Did he finish the race? I don’t even know if he I think he was in 21st uh a couple days ago. I don’t I saw his time trial. I don’t remember him yesterday. I don’t remember Yasper Phillips at the race yesterday. Maybe if we go to the start list, this is a better way to do it. Yeah, this is a better way to do it right here. Come to the start list. Find the rider. Yeah, he did finish. So, he got 14th in the points classification. He’s just back on form right now. So, take a look at this. Here it is. August 16th. August 17th, tomorrow, Cycling Classics in Hamburg. Uh, and then it shows his results per year here. Wow, that’s awesome. So, he finished seventh there last year. So, he’ll be jumping on a plane probably from Denmark, flying to wherever the race is in Germany, Hamburg, I guess. Uh, what do you fly or take or what do you drive? I don’t even know, guys. How hard is it to drive from Denmark to Germany? I think it’s pretty easy. and they’re attached. So, probably isn’t that hard. So, I think that’s really cool that you can see all those movements of riders where they’re going next. Obviously, we did tour of Romany this morning here. Elise Shab. Yeah, races tomorrow. We’ve got the Cycling Classic. We got the Worman’s Tour. Uh Roman finishing up. Czech tour will still be going tomorrow. Oh, yeah. Don’t forget the Volta Portugal is going on too. That’s a really good race. That is a really good race. Time trial tomorrow. But Monday, August 18th, there’s nothing going. I might do my Voila preview on Monday, guys. Might do that on Monday. So, if you want to see what that’s all about, jump into the chat with me and we’ll check it all out. Okay, here we are, guys. Four riders still front. One minute 25 second gap to the Pelaton. Okay, so they question why Mads wasn’t at the tour to France. Dario, how does the GC look for the Tour of Denmark? Dude, done now. Mads wins it. Second place was his teammate Jacob Solderquist. That’s a time trial specialist. Uh, took second place from Niels Larson. Niels doesn’t sound right, does it? That doesn’t sound right, guys. I have to check that out. I don’t want to say his name wrong because I’ve been cheering him the whole time and I’ve already forgotten his name. Actual GC here, Nicholas. Nicholas Larson actually got third overall. Okay, that’s Young Riders classification. Sorry guys, I’m bouncing around here. How does the GC look without time bonuses right here? Yeah, Matt Person first. Jacob Soldquist lead as well second. Nicholas Larson, continental level rider third place there. Uh lost second place by two seconds. Lucas Kubet for Unibet Tama Rockets. Okay. Watching Luke Lampertie here. That must have been yesterday. That was yesterday. That’s yesterday’s climb. Uh watching Luke Lampertie at the check tour. And fifth place, Alex Cigard here for lotto. Okay guys, I need to get back to the check tour now. Back to the check tour. Yeah, they’re just showing highlights from that huge climb they did yesterday at the end up to that water storage area. Uh out on course. Okay, there were climb points today, guys. Uh Geribo got points at the first climb and I think he is leading the mountains as of yesterday. Yep, was leading as of yesterday. He had 18 points yesterday. He picked up another six points today, giving him 24 points now at the sprint. This would have been taken by our breakaway riders here. So, there’s green jersey points and there was time bon bonifications 32 and 1 seconds available. There says we have uh riders pulling in the Pelaton Estana Visma Lisa bike and Sudal 53 km to go guys. Yeah, Jasper outside the top 20. But yeah, so they figured he’s good enough. He wants to keep riding. Takes half a day off. He’ll be riding tomorrow at the Hamburg Classic. I will go back to that one again, guys. Let’s talk about that race a little bit because I’m probably going to do it. Hamburg Classic. This is a one UWT. So, it’s a one world tour race. Uh, let’s see if this will take me anywhere. 2025. What is the distance on this race? But you can see here every World Tour team has to be here. All 18 World Tour teams and then some uh professional Pro Series teams will be there. Looks pretty lumpy bumpy. Lots of little climbs out there throughout the day. And yeah, we can see a circuit here. Here’s a a fulllap circuit on the bottom. Here’s another one. It’s the Vassenberg right here. Uh, is that right? The Vosberg. We see the Vosberg here. We see it again. And I think we’re seeing a portion of it here. Yeah, we are right there. Vosberg. So, we enter a circuit before here, then do a full lap around. They must do two full laps and a partial lap at the very beginning. Uh yeah, this is going to be a hardman race right here. Either sprint finish or hardman escape action. So that’s going to be pretty interesting tomorrow. Back to the live stats here. Chemistry club is back already, dude. You’re back. Uh just looking at the profile here. Today’s stage at the Czech tour is 148 km. Yep, that’s right. Sometimes I think I’m looking at the wrong stage over here. Wrong race. So, let’s give the Czech tour a little bit of love. It’s a 2.1 race, stage race, third tier professional series race. You’re still going to see world tour teams here. Remember, a lot of these teams are like, let’s just take a look at a team, guys. Let’s take a look at Okay, what’s the best way to do this? If I go to actual GC and let’s go find a big team. Team Visma Lisa Bike. Let’s take a look at their team. This is their entire team. Here it is. Here’s a face you know. Yonas. Here’s a face you know. Vout. Uh, all their names are here, too. So, take five or six of these riders, send them to one race. There’s another race that starts a day later. You got to send five or six to that one. There’s a race that starts three days later. Who’s going to that race? Uh, I think it’s pretty hard to juggle all these numbers. Attilla Valter there. Uh lot of mustache seep cous obviously onus one of the eight bros niko keermanman will keeldererman isn’t there a nico as well bonoot kristoff leaport Steven Kryvike Dylan vanal who was racing at tour of Denmark today Olaf Kuj I think he was at the pole at tour of Poland Sepkus again Matteo Jorgensson he will be at Lavalta Victor Camper Lavalta, Axel Zingel was sprinting today against Matts Patterson. Very close loss to Matts Patterson today, Tosh Vanderant, all the names I know. Okay, Valter went over well. Thomas Globe, this dude right here, he’s racing right now. He is at this event today. I’m sure a few of the other ones are that I don’t recognize right now. Ah, this dude, I think he’s third place overall right now. Sean Utenbrooks. Probably just Shawn. Uh Ben Tollet. Yeah, we know that name. Eduardo Afini. This guy, great time trial. He had a really good time trial at the tour to France this year. Uh stage five individual time trial. Julian Vermote. Julian Vermote was at the Tour of Denmark as well, guys. It just goes on and on. It just goes on and on, doesn’t it? Got to make sure my stats refresh. 1 minute 20 second gap now. Yeah, guess who’s back? Shadyy’s back. Back again. Swoosh kid. Will they have the start list ready by Monday for Levalta Espña to do a preview show? Dude, good question. Uh I do jump in and out. Guys, check right now. I am seeing some action at the front of the Pelaton. There is a group of riders trying to get away off the front. Uh they’re trying to spice it up now. We know there’s four riders down the road. Uh but Swoosh Kid, love the question, dude. Thanks for triggering me to do that. There’s five riders trying to get up the front. One of the climbers, Kuribo Castansky. Wow, this is showing this to me. Nah, they’re showing head of the race graphics, but I think we’re looking at a small group trying to take off from the Pelaton. I’ll get back to that once they figure out what they’re doing there. Let’s go over to Lavoa Espña. Guys, it’s going to be massive. This will be the hardest grand tour of the year right here. Forget the tour to France. Forget the Jurro for now. They’ll be back next year. Now it’s time for Valta. Brutal climbs. So, this is what we got here. Uh, swoosh kid. What you’ll find is they won’t let it out of the bag until the very last second who’s going. And I honestly believe that’s kind of how it works. They don’t know sometimes. Okay, let’s go through. Let’s rank them all. I’m sure the DS’s and the coaches are sitting on every day. Let’s rank the team who can race, who can’t race. Uh, as you can see here, Richard Kerrapas is the only guy announced for EF. Alpas Dcoin, I’m seeing a name right here. Uh, Robbie Geese here, he was racing at Tour of Denmark today. Uh, but yeah, Lorenzo Fortunado probably going to the team leader for Estana. He raced at Vwellto Bergos earlier this year. Early this year, a week and a half ago. Uh Harold Martin Lopez I believe is quite the climber too. He was at Bergos, finished 38 there. If you look at Fortunado, I think he finished third at Bergos. Uh he got second in the GC. Wow. I I’ve forgotten that already. Second in the GC to Isak Del Toro at Wellto Bergos. Take a look at Richard Carropas. He’s back in action. Remember he was supposed to ride the tour to France. didn’t had some kind of stomach illness. Uh will be back representing EF Education. Easy Post. Yeah, it’s kind of like I’d love to see full teams, but I’ve seen some that are like only popping up like a couple days before, but just a quick little glance at them all. Remy Cavana here, Gileiam Martan, David Gadu, he hasn’t been in action for quite a while either. Uh okay, he was just racing Tur Lane. I think that would probably be his first big race back. did the Jirro and then disappeared for a while. So, it did a 2.1 race. Uh 39th overall. I think that race is over, too. Yeah, it’s over. Uh here’s a big name, Felix Gaul, showing up for Decathlon. Fifth place overall at the Tour to France going to Lavalta. Uh Eager and Bernal’s going for Inos Grenaders. Quioski, Filipogana. Just looking through all the team guys. Nairo’s going. Uh, Nairo I think bombed out of Welco Berggo, so I’m not sure how he’ll do. Lead El Trek here, guys. Mads Person’s going. Evan, where are you? Uh, so Mads Person’s going to Julia Chicone, who won the final stage of the Welto of Bergos just this year. Let’s have a look to confirm that. got first place on stage five of Walta Ibos the hardest stage of the race up Laguna’s Denelia fifth place in the GC in that one uh Red Bull and they’re also bringing Teao Giganheart it’s been a while since we’ve seen him at the top level Sudol Quickstaff here’s VPP we talked about a yesterday Valentine Perry Ponch did he win the stage at the Mon 2 he won the stage at the MON 2 m Pelier to Mbon 2 Big breakaway there. 86 km by himself out front. Uh very good climber for Sudal Mandanda’s going. Hopefully he has a good race. Uh Red Bull Borhansor here. Look at this. Pelazar is going. Just had a really good ride at Vulta Bergos. Fourth place overall at Vulta Eberos there. Good climber, young dude. Let’s go, dude. Uh, picnic’s not giving us much. Here’s team Vizma. It’s funny. The two most powerful teams are just dropping both their riders. Okay, so team Vizma, Lisa Bike, Wilco Kellerman, Matteo Jorgensson, Victor Campenarts, Axel Zingle, Tour of Denmark today, Sept Cous, Yonas Fingo, Dylan Varl, Tour of Denmark today, and Ben Tullet. Guys, this is virtually a tour to France team right here. Jorgensson was at the tour to France. Victor was at the tour to France. Sepus was at the tour to France. Yonas was at the tour to France. So four out of the eight riders here it looks like from the tour to France. Take a look at UAE. Wana Yuso Jvine Mark Solair Jiao Almeida and the supporting you know Gartner. Pretty scary. I’m liking this Derek G for Canada Israel Premier Tech Derek G. Uh let’s see his his wins. Four second places uh finishes at the Jirro de Italia. Fourth in the GC at the Gro Italia just this year. He’s like right there. He’s right there. Third in the GC at the Tour of the Alps this year. Fourth in the GC at Toronto Adrietico just this year. So he’s I think this might be his best year so far. Anyway, guys, so you can see and not a lot of them are filled out yet. So, but yeah. Uh, good question, dude. I’m hoping we’re going to see more names pop up real quick. What we’ll probably do, I know what I’ll do. I got to figure 1 minute 4 seconds gap back. Now, guys, I know. So, for my preview show, I’ll do the route profiles. We’ll talk about where they’re going to be, critical stages, talk about the time trials, kind of go through all the maps and stuff like that. And we’ll talk about the riders that we know of. We’re going to do full speculation, conspiracy theories about who’s going to show up and who isn’t. UCI GPS tracking units, will they come into the mix? Uh, just kidding, guys. Uh, and then when I do my other stuff through the week, every day I’ll come back in and say, “Hey, check out who’s showing up. Uh Dave, your vault on paper is the hardest, but they have Okay. Yeah, Vela on paper is ours, but they have so much mileage in their legs right now, it might feel easier to them. Yeah, some really tough climbs. I think there’s 10 uh uphill or mountain top finishes. There are some stages where they’re generally flat, but they’ll have a big hill at the end for a mountain top finish. That’s great for the climbers. the big guys can’t get over the top and chase them down and beat them in the valleys. Mountaintop finishes is where the climbers really dominate. Um, they do have two time trials. There’s a individual time trial and there’s a team time trial. Stage five is the team time trial after they transfer from France over to Andor. Dave, everyone is in shape and hammering now. So, even the one feeling weak are flying. Yes. Okay. Check this dude out here. Martin Story. Uh, Story. Yeah, Martin Story maybe. How likely have those lineups been decided for months? Dude, I think very unlikely. I think very Okay, so here’s a question. If Yonas It’s a good question, uh, Martin. If Yonas would have won uh, the tour to France, would he race the La this year? That’s my question back, I guess. Right. It’s kind of It’s always developing. It’s always on the fly. They’re watching. Yasper Philipsson said in an interview just recently because remember he crashed at a stage three tour to France. He said, “I’m not sure if I’m going to the VA yet. I really want to go. Let’s see how I do at Tour of Denmark.” Tour of Denmark just finished today. He’s going to Hamburg Cycling Classics tomorrow. It’s kind of an all field. It’s probably dayto-day for a lot of these riders. They know the main guys. Papa Marino’s back. Hey guys, just got in from work. How did Ursa and Mads do? Uh, dude, Papa Marino, uh, Mads won the GC overall. Won the final stage. That gives him three stage wins at the Tour of Denmark. So, that race is done and dusted. Now, second place was his teammate, Jacob Solderquist, who won the Youth/ Youths jersey, as I call it. Uh, third place was the Continental Rider Nicholas Larson. So, great for him. Lucas Kubis finished fourth, Alex Cigar, in fifth place for Lotto. Uh Urska had a great ride up the climb, guys. Tour of Romany. That climb was brutal. 12.8 km at 8.1% average gradient. Uh watching. Let’s take a look at the actual GC here. Uh it is okay. I’m seeing a Sudal rider. I’m like Luke. No, it’s Junior Lassurf is in the uh actual GC rider right now. Yep. So, here is the overall standings at the Czech tour right now. Could be a day for a breakaway. These guys have only got a minute gap. Uh, we’re going to start doing some climbs here. Uncatategorized climbs. They probably are going to be pretty steep. They look like little walls. Got to get rid of this last wall fast. And then you’ve got 28 km to the finish. Roughly 30 km to the finish. There’s a chance. So, you’re saying there’s a chance? I am. It’s just a long straight drag here up this road. I think the helicopter is going to pull out here and we’re going to see the pelaton right behind them. And there they are. Yeah, they can see them now. They can probably see the helicopter hovering up ahead, too. So, they’re going to pull these guys back probably right before the climb start. Uh, Urska. Yeah. So her teammate, I think it was Maria Benito, sat on the front for probably 7 km and smashed everyone to pieces. Uh the entire Pelaton was shredded. Remember, there’s only 63 riders left in the Pelaton because of the elimination of five teams yesterday. Disqualification, I should call it. Maria pulled over and I think another rider pulled over, too, at that point. Was it Steph? I think it was Stephie, maybe it was Stephie Hamberlain I think is her name. Uh those two were shed out the back. That left three riders up front. Yara Castellin, Erska Ziggart, and Elise Shab at the end. Elise Shab was able to outsprint Urska for the win. So really exciting race, but I think Erska is leading overall right now, I believe. So uh Paula Blassie finished a ways down, so lost her first place in that. while I’m here since the question’s been asked. I don’t want to give spoilers but uh if you want to watch it. Yeah. Okay. So, I think that was today. Yeah, that’s results today. We want the actual GC GC after stage two. Yep. Erska 8-second gap back to Elise Shab 13 second back gap back to Yara Castellin here uh then almost a minute back to Paula so it’s these top three that’ll be fighting for tomorrow AG insurance Sudal FDJ FDJ Suez and Fenix Dcoin uh the big teams at the front for tomorrow early start again guys early start again I think tomorrow might be even earlier so I kind of look at the stages like the tour of Romanity stage. The first half was basically flat. The first actually 80% was flat. There were two category 3 climbs, but they weren’t hard. They were short. I tried to time it so that we’re not just sitting there watching there on the flats. One minute gap here, guys. 42 km to go. Yes, exactly. Awesome for Mrs. Pogy. She looked really, really good out there. Elise, I said when I was watching it, I think Elise looks a little bit more powerful to me. And I bet you I can look up their weights. And sometimes I feel weird about doing that because it’s the women. They don’t like their weights known, but it’s out. They’re pro They’re proathletes. I keep saying that. They’re pro athletes. Let’s not call the women. They’re proathletes. Um Shabby looks like she carries a little bit more mass on her body. She just looks a little bit more powerful to me. uh and was just able to basically have a more explosive kick at the end and out accelerate Urska. Uh Yara actually came back after Urska as well. Yara closed up the gap in the probably the last couple hundred meters. Yara did a really good job of just hanging in there. After she cracked out the back and that was from an Urska attack though, uh Yara just sat there watching them the whole time and did not get dropped anymore. In fact, pull back time. I think her gap back might have been upwards of 10 seconds and she pulled back to within three of Urska at the finish line. So check her here guys. Watching this closely now. So you can see here on the left hand side of the screen it is going to get pretty lumpy. Lots of ups and downs. Good places for Hook Valdi here. Looks like a good place to go over the top first. Start the next climb actually. Yeah. Yeah, that is the start of the next climb. So, I’m looking at Hook Val Hook Vakley here. We’ve just went through what town is that? PFIB R PFB. I have no idea. Um, after you pass Kavaldi, it’s a climb. You can see this this 3% climb that’s going to take us to the very top of this climb here and then it’s generally downhill all the way. So, you want to be at the front with a bit of a gap here and maybe just hang on. I don’t know how steep that’s going to be, but it looks like it’s a pretty good gradient downwards. Should be some really fast speeds at the end here. Average speed right now, 42.4 km an hour. We still got 300 m of climbing to do here, guys. It’s going to start speeding up once we get over the top. Uh, guys, let’s just chill here for a second. I am going to Should I get another coffee? Well, I’m going to go upstairs, get a coffee, and see what happens. Be right back. Give me probably a minute and a half. Okay, riders, we are back. That took me a little bit longer than I thought. We do have a fresh cup of coffee, though. Let’s take a look at the situation here, guys. 53 seconds on screen right now. into the breakaway. Uh cresting the first little bump. It’s three little kickers we’re going up here. Uh but yeah, Martin, good question here. Again, I wanted to I just thought about that walking upstairs. Obviously, in advance, you know, it would be like Yonas, what’s your goal this year? To win the tour to France. Uh but I think sometimes things change on the fly, too. Obviously, the GC guys, they’ll pick things out like you’re going to win this, you’re going to go to this one, and you’re going to go to this one. Uh, Carropaz was supposed to be at the tour to France, got sick beforehand. Obviously, the next thing, what’s the next grand tour? Let’s send you to the VA. I bar probably bet you that Kaz was not going to go to the Lvalta after doing the tour to France. Now he is. Uh, because he missed the first one. Don, we are still here, dude. Thank you so much. Yep. Get the coffee in, guys. 38K to go. So, that’s what I’m going to do. Here’s my plan, guys. 8:00 in the morning for me. Been going since 4:30, I think we went live. So, that’s not bad. It’s only 3 and a half hours. We got some time still. I’m going to do this. I’m going to do my chores outside. Hope you guys are going to have a great Saturday. Uh, I’m going to do a Zift ride. I got to do my ride of the week. Uh, and then I’m going to do nothing. I hope there’s nothing planned for me. I’m going to do nothing today. Going to have a chill day. I hope. You never know, Joey might have me going out somewhere. We have had a crash. Unar Zenai here, Unai, sorry. Uni Aznar for equipo has crashed somewhere. I haven’t seen it on screen yet. Uh has crashed. Hopefully nothing too serious for him. And uh Chemistry Club. Hi, I hired a bike from an ex-p proyclist named Dan Alando. I totally know that name. Totally know that name. Danal Hondo. He was quite funny about his murky past. Oh, dude. I love it. So, you went to My Orca, dude. Like, my orca would be so great to get to. It’s just so far from here to go there. Kind of my dream right now. This is my ultimate dream right now is the channel does well enough. Uh oh. Attack by a rider met Solar Watt. Okay, this was this other team in the Pelaton. So that’s in the Pelaton. I think this other team might have been at the tour of Denmark, too. I think could be wrong about that. Danalo Hondo. Totally, dude. Totally remember that name, dude. While we’re at it, this this is fun, guys. I love this. This is fun. You ask and you shall receive. Let’s search up Danlo Hondo. Who else remembers that name? Danolo. Sorry guys, I can’t type in the dark. It’s so hard. Danalo. Wow. He must be quite a way back because he’s not showing up yet. H. Sorry, guys. Again, I’m typing in the dark. It looks bright in here. It’s only on my face. There’s Dan O’Honda right there, dude. Okay. So, he retired way back in 2014 and he was racing for Trek Factory Racing, Radio Shack, Leopard, Lamprey. This guy’s 51 right now. Still a young dude. Still a young dude. Wow. Check this out here too, guys. Uh, one of his last races August 24th, way back in, is that 2011? Sorry, 2014. uh was the Cycling Classics Hamburg, which is a race that’s on tomorrow. You know, his fourth last race he ever did, the Ano Tour. I don’t even know what that one is. The Tour of Woney, that’s still around. Jirro did Italia. Let’s see his best. He’s won two stages in 2001 at the Jirro. Yeah, those are the dark years right there. Uh two stages at Volta Catalonia, second at Milan San Remo, four second place stage finishes at Jiro Ditalia. Like this guy was right up there. Right up there. That’s a name I’d completely forgotten about. So that’s cool. So he is now what? Doing bike tours in Mayorca Chemistry Club. Uh so it sounds like Dan Oho is renting out bikes in Morca. Or maybe he’s just you stumbled into him and you just bored his bike for the day, which would be extra cool. Uh, four riders still out front. Yeah, here it is. Jorus Reerink Rendering. This is the Mate Solar Watt rider here going up front. 21 years old from the Netherlands. Oo, 59 kg here at the Czech tour. He sits 35th overall right now. These are all our future superstars, guys. These are where all the future superstars come from. Actually, what’s hilarious is uh I’m watching Jorus right here right now. Predominantly blue darkest jersey. Maybe it’s black. Black with blue accents. He wears a yellow helmet, rides the BMC bike. Okay, I got to get that locked in. Just out of the blue a few days ago, uh it showed Mr. Pogy riding on his continental level team. I forget the name of the team. Uh yeah, and I think the video was like 7 years old, so it would have been like 2018. The next year he shows up in the world tour. Um I think 2019 was his first year. Uh Dave sorting through bike parts and tools as we speak. I didn’t know I had so many pedals. Dave, you got that bike shop. Dave’s house is like a bike shop. Who’s got the most bikes here, guys? I’ve only got Okay, I got a cycle cross bike. I’ve got a full TT bike. I’ve got a really good Aero road bike. I have a beater mountain bike outside that I don’t even know what it is right now. It’s just rotting out there in the barn. Uh Dawn 51 and three with Don. We’ll have to celebrate that during the well Espa. We’ll have a special dawn day. Uh chemistry. He’s got a bike shop in Cal Dior. Okay, dude. I don’t even know where that is, but awesome that you met him. Uh yeah, dude. So, I never would have remembered that name in my lifetime, I don’t think, but as soon as you said it. Yeah, totally remember him. So, yeah, In the Dark Days, I started Wheelman yesterday, guys. That’s a book. It’s an investigation into the whole doping conspiracy. I think it’s from 2012. It’s an audio book. I listen to most of my books now through audio. Even though some I buy just like an I like a hard cover. Uh, but it’s it’s read well ex outside of the pronunciation of the names. uh like Thomas Vogler like it’s like like the way they say it’s like no it’s not said like that they get pretty good voices and they don’t know how to pronounce the names properly I guess maybe like me. Yeah. So Don we’re going to have a birthday party for Dawn 3 weeks during Levuela Espa. Hopefully it’s a stage day. Dawn uh we’ll have some birthday cake for Dawn. Dawn here. Three bikes, two road, one mountain bike. Does a spin bike count? Sure, it counts. And you have a dirt bike kicking around. Oh, for like a motorbike. I know some of us have too many bikes. I get hung up in it, too, guys. But I swear I think I talked before someone on Facebook uh posted a picture of Julian Dean. You guys might remember that name. I think he was an Australian, maybe a New Zealander. Uh it was a 2003 Curvell. One of the best looking bikes I’ve ever seen in my life. I mean, yeah, rim brakes, don’t care. Uh, where I live, I don’t even need disc brakes. I don’t ride in the rain and I’m not going down mountain passes. Uh, outside of the shifter cables that were coming out of the levers themselves, you know, they crossed right in front like the old school way. Probably one of the best looking bikes. I’m going to find it today for sure. I just don’t know how to do that search on Facebook to find it again now. And you know what? That bike is probably plenty fast. And if you put Julian Dean on it again, he would beat all of us on our brand new bikes. Oh, check this out. Which riders at the start of the Czech tour are the longest on their team? Wow. Eves Lampert has been on the same team for 10 years. Lucas Miler uh for 10 years as well. Eve Lampert Sudal Quickstep in one form or another because it’s changed names quite a few times. Uh Edex Quickstep Quickstep floors to the Coin Quickstep Quickstep Alpha Vinyl team now Sudal Quickstep. So 10 years at the same team probably going to retire there. Lucas Smileer. Who’s this dude? Team Vorlberg. Same team. Continental team for 10 years. Uh time travel specialist. So just a continental level there. Uh Daniel Gaymmeer. Gismire team Borlberg is again they keep the riders around. He’s been there eight years. James Nox seven years at Sudall Quickstep. Okay. So Sudal Quickstov has a lot of loyalty to the riders. Oh he started on Team Wiggins way back when. What happened to team Wiggins, guys? H I don’t think they lasted very long. Uh 31ks to go, guys. It’s really gonna The race is going to launch right after the top of this climb. Okay, so the dude that was trying to take off, Joris Ren reindeer, Inc. Render Inc. uh got caught by the Pelon. So, it’s just four riders up front. 56 seconds back. Uh Don, me too. No disc brakes, rim brakes on everything. My mic has no suspension. Uh Evard Mappe back in the day, Tony Roinger and Tom Steels. Yeah, Tom Steels. Love that guy. Yeah. So, my aero road bike does have discs, but I I don’t need it. I think a lot of us guys, this is Colin’s uh don’t waste your life and money on bikes when you don’t need to. If I was to get into bikes right now, I’d go find a 10-year-old bike that probably has everything you need. If you don’t ride somewhere that you need disc brakes, they’re they’re not going to do you any favor. I’d say in the long run, disc brakes might be more annoying. Disc brakes are perfect when they’re perfectly set up. When they’re not perfectly set up, uh very hard to figure it out how so that they’re not going to rub your rim all the way that they’re not scraping every time it goes around. Here’s the catch being made. So, yeah, it’s about a minute back here. 31.5K to go there. 32K to go here. He’s pulled back in. Looks like a Sudall rider on the front right now. Yep. James Knox pulling in the Pelon. Same right there. So, there is a Sudall rider on the front. Uh, and I think it was James Knox, I just said, had spent eight years or seven years. Yep. Uh, looks like seven years at uh, Quickstep Sudal. So, he’s been around there, too. Yeah. Like, you want to go Yeah. go buy yourself a 14lb bike. You can just get a 16lb bike. That’s probably just as good. Uh just maybe ride your bike a bit more and lose two pounds yourself because the difference in cost uh between those frames alone is going to be staggering. Thousands of dollars. Thousands of dollars. Uh wheels are really good upgrade. Do you really need them? Depends what you’re doing. Yeah, right there, Dave. And if your wheel isn’t mounted perfectly, the squeal is real. Yeah. So, disc brakes can be quite annoying. You need to bleed the lines on your disc brakes like your car. Yeah, exactly. Rim brakes are so simple. Uh, and it seems like for how many years they rode rim brakes, no problem at the tour to France. Oh, and guess what? Down the exact same hills. Uh yeah, there’s safety in the disc brakes, but if you’re not like I I’m a flat land rider here, guys, unless I go out to the mountains, I’m riding on the flats all the time. There’s just little coolies, little river systems I ride through. Like you’re down in them for 15 seconds and you pop up out the other side. I’m right in the prairies. I can see the mountains. Uh I go up one little road, I can see the mountains in the distance. So I do not need disc brakes here. My cycle cross bike side is perfect. Uh my aero road bike would be perfect with uh just rim brakes. Dawn here. I have carbon wheels too. Too light. I don’t use them uh too often. Yeah, I’ve got a set on my SLO S3. I have Envys on them and they’re awesome and they’re super expensive. You know, you could for the cost of my wheels. I could have bought myself a really nice bike with aluminum wheels. That would be just as fast, realistically just as fast. The carbon wheels sound cool. That’s it. And they look cool, but that’s it. So, don’t get hung up in like, oh, I got to go out and do this. I got to do that. It’s not going to make you a better cyclist. It’s just time on the road. Uh, here’s Sean Utuks again, team Vizma Lisa Bike and the white jersey. probably the best young rider here. Let’s have a look at that. I want to confirm this now just so I can lock. Yep, he’s the best young rider. 23 seconds over Alexander Hajik. Uh four riders down to 30 second, guys. It’s coming back now. And now the now it’s going to launch. Let’s see. We’re We’re at a 41.8 km average now. I bet you for the next 30 km, we’re at 118 km done. We’re going to 148 for the next 30 km is going to be high high speed racing. Last arrivals in Ostraa won by Luke Lampertie last year. So we’ve been to this town before last year. It was won by Luke Lampertie. Stage one of the Czech tour. Um Dave can get a set of really well built rails. It feels so good and they will cost you less time. No need to true after every ride. Yeah, that was wheels back in the old day for me. Dave Mavic CPX14. Best wheels ever. 10 years. True. One time. Wow. Yeah, Dave. I don’t even ride outside enough anymore. That’s another benefit of riding inside. Uh guys, I do want to ride outside. I really do. I see people riding. I’m like, ah, yeah, but just here it’s it’s boring. I’ve ridden every road so many times. Um, I should pull up my Strava and show you what some of my boring rides are like. Oh, CXP14. Uh, so Dave, are they a carbon wheel? I don’t know enough about Mavic wheels to know for sure. Yeah, carbon wheels are expensive. I paid and they were used. Dude, that sounds cheap to me. But they were used wheels. 300 for the front wheel, 400 for the rear wheel plus cassette. And they were used. Dude, the set of Envys I’m rolling, three grand for two wheels. Yeah, but you’re right. I know what you’re saying. You could have stopped eating donuts for a week and got the same uh weight gain, weight savings, marginal gains. Yeah, you can spend a ton of money on carbon wheels. Now, I’m seeing a lot of stuff showing up on YouTube like all these really, really high quality bikes coming out of China. Uh, I guess they perfected the techniques there. Watching alloy deep arrow. Okay. Nice. Yeah, I don’t want to be Mr. Vintage. I mean, a lot of guys, it’s the same as cars, right? Oh, the old cars were better. Nah, they weren’t really. They looked they were cooler. Uh, I think someone else mentioned earlier, I like retrood. If you were to give me like a 1968 something or other car, I’d want a retro mod version of like modern steering, modern suspension, modern brakes, modern stereo, modern AC. I’d want that all built in with the look of the old car. Uh, came on my used 96 Specialized LA. 600 bucks for the bikes in 2006. Yeah, LA is a really good bike you guys can get into. Uh they have multiple different models of it. I think you can get into the aluminum starter which is a great race bike uh for like 1,200 bucks. Don has Mavic Wheels 2 deep dish lightweight aluminum. I think they are old. Yeah, guys, let’s think about it. Like Lance wasn’t I don’t know when carbon wheels started exactly. I don’t know that for sure, guys. But when Lance and Beje Ree and Yanuk were doing their time trials in the mid 90s. Okay. Yeah. Yarn Bje was 96. Yeah, he was 96. Oluk was 97. Then all those battles, they weren’t riding carbon wheels. And they were like rockets out there. We wouldn’t stand a chance against them. Carbon wheels, carbon frames, carbon this, carbon that uh disc. They would still destroy us. Yep. Fab. You can spend a ton of money on wheels. I have a pair of rim brake head Arden’s black and they cost over a,000. Yeah, I looked into mine. Three grand. Uh, and I think that was three grand US for these Envys. I think Envys is guys and I I don’t know enough about wheels. Uh, I know Envys are USmade. I think they’re all made in the US. So, you’re paying for the premium and obviously when it gets sold as a premium item, you’re probably paying too much as is. you do get the comfort of knowing that it is an actual real made by them. Uh the bike shop down the road was telling me and I did a lot of research on it. Specializ has a team that goes out looking for fakes. Specializ looks for fake Roval, I think that’s their bike brand, wheels and will test them and say, “Yeah, this is a fake.” And they show the test to show why you should spend triple the price on their wheels. They put them under stress test and show these carbon wheels shatter. Uh they just rebrand them. It’s fake. Uh Mavi Open Pros on my TLE. See, I don’t even know what it is. Mavic Open Pros on my Trelli. I’d have to look that bike up. Yeah. So, I’m Servel. I have a Look TT bike, which is deadly fast. Um, even though it’s old school, it’s full jura ace, it’s mechanical shifting. Uh, you get into that position and you’re flying, man. You are flying. Super cool bike. I think it’s my favorite bike and I’ve ridden it a handful of times. Yeah, if you can find a good local wheelbar of you. Okay, good to know. Four riders still up front, guys. 30 second gap. We got 24 km squ. Speed is going up now. It was 41.8 point8 at the top of that that last bump. We’re currently up to 42.3 ks an hour average to bring it up half a kilometer an hour and maybe 67 km. That’s a lot. So, their speed has significantly inc uh increased now. Sudal on the front protecting Junior Lurf here. Uh looks like Junior is riding. Where is he? Okay, I think that’s him back there in 10th place. Ninth, 10th place. Attacks coming out of the breakaway. One guy going off the front. Having a look back. Who is that? Here it is. It’s Luke Bondorf riding for a team called Hinka Advers. I destroyed that name. Sorry. Continental team Ringa Advers. Luke Bondorf from Luxembborg. Looking at his stats here. Okay, six at the uh National Time Trial Championships. And he’s gone up the road, guys. He’s gone. He’s left those three behind. They look like they’re uh they’ve resigned to the fact that they’re going to be caught by the Pelaton. And this dude’s trying to go for it by himself. It’s a good time to attack, too. Attack right before the pelon catches you, and they might forget about you out front. Now, there is a reaction here. One rider out of the three is going, “Wait a second. Wait a second. We can still do this.” And now the other two react finally. Uh they’re going through a bit of a roundabout here, but Luke’s up the road now. It’s only a 5-second gap, but I I think it’s bigger than that already. Three riders are trying to chase him back on now. Kind of makes you wonder why didn’t they do that right away. And now they’re sitting up. Now they’re dillydallying. Now the curvy swerv starting. Here we go. They’re curvy swerving across the road. The dude up front doesn’t want to do any more pulling. He’s like, “Look, help me out here. They’re all looking at each other. Uh, okay. That was I thought there was someone broken down the road, but not. Yeah. So, that’s Matus Con. Okay. They say it’s Katus Constansky. He did attack. Uh, but it’s Luke Bondorf is the one that’s out front. Dave loves mechanical shifting stuff. Less to go wrong. Easier to fix on the road. Exactly. Sudal looking after Luke Lampertie for the sprint. Yep. They’re all on the front there. Uh Luke Lampertie for the sprint. Junior’s Lassurf for the overall GC. They’ve just came through the same roundabout now. Uh 30 second gap. 22.4 km to go. Average speed now. 42.4. Yep. Sudal on the front here. Looks like there’s an Estana rider there, too. That must be a Stana development team. It is. Estana development teams at the front. Another attack here. Out of the three riders. One rider just gives up right away. Uh, two of them are going. So, there’s four up front. One riding solo. We got a duo and then a guy riding solo. He looks like he’s thinking about going after him, but I think he’s pretty much had it. Um, that’s probably Casper Vandervood here just by the color of his jersey. Medic rider here. He is back on though. He pulled them back. He’s back on with them. Yeah, they ride BMC bikes I think. Uh, so Casper Vandervood here, 162. I think that’s him there. Luke Bondorf 10 seconds down the road, guys. The last victory for Luke Bondorf was two years ago at the National Championships of Luxembourg road race. So, proven winner. 10 seconds though uh to the Chasing Three. a further 20 seconds back to the Pelaton. Okay. Uh yeah, Dave, that’s a good one. Especially if you can get away at a turn, Pelaton at a time. Pelaton might lose count. Yeah, they’re trying to remember who’s all out there. Like how many left out there? It’s the reason why pros cross the finish line and sometimes they think they won. They’ve lost track of who’s out front. Donald’s tinkering with his bikes. One is race ready, but I don’t ever race. The other is my baby. I keep upgrading it. It’s my Frankenstein’s monster. Oh, I like that. Looks like this will be a sprint finish. No crashes, please. Yeah, hopefully not. Luke Bondorf is in full TT position here, guys. Keeping his head as low as he possibly can. Herinka advers. I wonder what they do. Actually, his bike is branded Herinka. So, are they a bike manufacturer? Honestly, don’t have a clue. Here comes the the the three chasers. Now they’re saying 10 seconds. That’s more than 10 seconds. Looks like two of them are actually having a chitchat with each other here, saying, “Man, should we wait for the Pelaton? Should we just wait? Get back in. Help our leaders out.” Oo, a lot of Visma Lisa bike riders there at the front. They just stand out to me. And then the Sudal riders there. Sudal I think is still in front with one Vizma Lisa bike rider right behind him. Yeah, here’s Junior Surf. He’s decked out in yellow as well. So, he’s going to blend in. He’s on his S Works probably in the SL8 there. Not SL8. No, it’s not. Did I say that? Yeah, it is an SL8. Specialized SL8. Tarmac SL8, I believe. S works I think. Isn’t that right? Or am I or am I confusing that with track right now? Anyways, we’ll see guys. Bikes, bikes. Okay. Uh 42.4K an hour. Under 20k to go, guys. Luke Bondorf has got a 30 second lead over the Pelaton. We just passed through a small town called Fredic Mystic. Two dudes were born here. Joseph Cerny and Velasore uh Konichi. I don’t know who that is, but Yseph Cerny is in the race today. Said he was born in 1993. He’s in this race today. Here he is. He’s been with the Coinic for 5 years. Quick step. Sudal. So it’s a Yeah, that’s a Sudal history of them there. Okay, we’re going to bounce back here. Get back to the race, guys. Going to do a quick little check here. 19.3K to go. Uh, says there’s still 33 m of elevation. There’s a couple little ripples at the end of the course here. Actually, the the very finish might be just the slightest little bump uphill. And here’s the Pelaton catching the remnants now of the breakaway. I think this is Dominic Robert just got caught. I think they’re all back now. It’s not showing it yet, but I think they’re all back. Sudal pushing. Hang. Let’s check the weather out here. I know it was quite hot across across Europe. Uh 28.5° max temperature today, 35° C. So, I’m not sure if that’s going to be later in the day or it’s already happened. Yeah, here we go. So, the pel the the three riders, the remnants of the breakaway have now been caught. It’s just one lone warrior out there. Luke Bettor for Rinka Advers. I need a bike. Just kidding. Uh, yeah, I should look them up quick. I’m going to look them up afterwards. Rinko Hadics. Just checking out some museums here on screen. 14th century. God, that’s crazy. So, this was built in the 1300s. Canada. Yeah. First Nations people. That was all. That’s all we had here. It’s insane to think about that. You guys were building castles and stuff over there. Uh and the rest of us hadn’t even got here yet. There were people here, though. Uh I am seeing two Oh, this must be There’s still two uh survivors. They’re being caught now, too. That’s kilometer 19. Okay, so this is behind a little bit. Actually, it’s 500 meters back. I think they’re just surviving. And they just said the Pelatons caught them, but they’re right there. Team Visma Lisa Bike. That’s the Estana development team right behind them. Sudal sitting on the front. Oo, who’s this coming through here? I got to figure that team out. Uh, looks like their entire team is lined out there. Looks like there’s three or four teams doing the majority of the polling at the front here. Yep. So, those two have just been caught now. It says one minute ago they were just caught. That makes sense here from what I’m seeing. Sudal has like 90% of the riders on the front. Visma Lisa bike are kind of like intermingling with them. Oh, you can see the G. Yeah, you can see them now. Dude still holding 35 seconds. Riders pulling in the Pelon. Gil Gelders and James N for Sudal Quickstep. They want the win here today for Luke Lampertie. Uh let’s go take a look at Luke here. I think I highlighted him a little bit yesterday. Luke Lampertie. Full sprint. Big sprint out of this guy right here. Uh he’s already got one stage win. He’s already got the confidence to win this. There’s that Gastown Grand Prix I was talking about. Uh a classic early got a second place. This is way back in March. All those Belgian classics, Belgian early season races here. uh second place there. Another one pro series race, third place. So he’s right at the front for the sprints. So Sudal wants another stage victory today, guys. Can they get it? Can our time trial stay away? This is the gap here, guys. Going to be heading through a little small town called Pascov. I’d say there’s a very, very low chance he’s going to stay away because 30 seconds, 15k to go. They can just they can pull that back in about 2 km if they want it. Right now they’re just letting them dangle. They don’t want to be they don’t want to waste too much energy before we really get the sprint trains firing. Enjoy your coffee, guys. I hope you guys enjoy your weekends, too. I hope you enjoy your time here with me. Let’s keep rolling, folks. Let’s keep rolling. Please like the video on the way out. I think it’s just the I think it’s the OG people here watching. So, it’s the the real supporters 100%. And then we’re going to give out the love hearts to everyone here. Love everyone being here, guys. Uh currently 15.2K to go. Going to start getting antsy here. Probably right around 10 km. Still hovering at 30 seconds. Is it really 30 seconds? I’m looking at it here now. Let me have a good look over here, guys. Again, data screen. It’s too bright. Chat screen. Not bad. This screen. Perfect. Yeah, looks like there’s like three teams pulling out the front and the blob of the Pelaton just lurking behind them. Sudan doing all the work on the front. One Vizma rider. Then the entire Vizma team and yep, entire Vizma team there. There’s a white jersey in there, too. Who’s the white jersey right now? Who is leading the youths competition? It is Sean Utenbrooks. Okay. That’s why he’s not in yellow cuz he is team Vizma Lisa Bike. 30 seconds now. Looks like 5 seconds has been pulled back. Trying to have a good look at them here, guys. Uh it’s currently 8:30 in the morning for me. Uh looking at all these more incredible job offers I’m getting. Oh god, this guy’s such a weirdo. Yeah, the gap’s back there. The the guy up front, Luke Betonorf, is not giving up. He’s going to make them work all the way to pull him back. Two Sudal riders. Visma Lisa bike. Then three more Sudal riders. Visma Lisa bike comes. And Junior Surf is mixed in with the Vizma Lisa bike riders right now. 14K out. Yep. 14K here. 14.2 over on the data site. I really got to get that screen turned down. It’s driving me nuts right now. Wonder if I can do it manually from here. I’ve tried before and it didn’t work. [Music] So, I’ve turned my brightness down all the way and nothing changes. I turn my brightness up and nothing changes from the keyboard. I don’t know why it does that. I tried figuring this out a couple weeks back. It’s just the way it is, guys. Uh, morning coffee cycling with Colin or can we call Colin’s coffee cycling chat? Wow. T T Roven, it’s 8:30 here, 6:30 at night, and it’s already dark. Dude, it’s your winter. It is your winter, isn’t it? Uh, what is it for you guys? No. Yeah, it’s our summer. Your Well, it’s not really winter. It’s like, is it for spring for you now? Yeah, it’s your spring. I think you’re just going into spring there, T Roven in Mauritius Flex. Sorry, dude. I love it, dude. I love these comments coming through. Shian sounds like Kon. Kon, dude, how’s that? Keon. Keon. Keon. Keon. Keon. Keon. Keon. Dude, I’m trying to lock into my brain cuz he says fabs like saying gently melting my brain hearing Shawn. Dude, sorry, Matt. Okay, Keon. Keon. Uh, I love it, dude. Dude, I absolutely love it. Fry me when you can. Fry me when you when you can, guys. I love people giving me a hard time. Doesn’t phase me at all. Uh, and if I’m saying it wrong, I appreciate it. Keon Fab Cycling’s brain is now coming back on track. Sudall still pushing the front here, guys. 13K to go right now. Average speed now 42.6k an hour. So, just slowly climbing up. uh riding on quite a big highway here. Two lanes in each direction. Which side of the road do they ride on here in uh Czech Republic? I’m not sure. We’re on the right hand side of the road. They got traffic on the lefthand side. Uh I’m not sure if that was just for traffic diversion. Does anyone know? I would think they’re on probably left-hand side drivers. I think like we do in North America. I don’t know. Key on. Key on. on. I do that a lot, guys. When I when I figure out pronunciation, I say it about 20 times over to myself. Oh, unofficial end of Toron in summer in Toronto is the CE has the CE has started. So, the Canadian National Exhibition, I think that’s what uh Dave here is talking about in the T.O. do. Uh it’s like a big it’s like a big amusement park, isn’t it? I’ve already I I think I’ve been to it once when I was super young. May have been there. So when I was really young, I lived out in St. Catherine’s. Uh so like Niagara Falls, all that kind of fun stuff there. Yeah. The the front dude who’s still out front by himself. 26 seconds. His bike is branded Hanka. So I don’t know if it’s like a Czech brand bike. Let’s see where they’re from. Let’s see what this team looks like it’s based out of. Herinka Advarics right here. Okay. Mostly Austrian riders. Uh yeah, licensed country is Austria. So maybe it’s an Austrian bike. It says right there. Bike Hinka. I guess it’s a bike manufacturer. Very small team from the looks of it. Continental team. So they’ve got like more than half their team at this race, guys. Smaller team. smaller budget, but the pros come up through those guys, right? All our world tour guys came up through these teams. They’re really pulling it back now, guys. Uh down to 18 seconds on screen here. I’m seeing 26 over here. I’m going to take I’m going to go with the 18 seconds over here. It’s just changed to 17 now on my data feed using both at the same time. Started as an agricultural fair. Okay. So, it starts at the end of every summer. Uh Dave, how long does it run for? Is it a couple weeks or uh for us guys? Oh, fab. So, yes, summer is over in the Bahamas now. It’s no season. Want to go outside and do stuff? No, it’s too hot for that. Ah, got you, dude. No season. Too hot for that. Still have live stock judging. Okay. So, dude, it kind of sounds like the Calgary Stampede really, except our Calgary Stampede is at the the height of the summer for us. Starts first Friday and every July. There’s a huge parade. It lasts for 10 days. And Dave, that’s the favorite part for us now. I don’t really go I don’t want to go on rides anymore. I don’t want to get sick on the rides on the gravitron and the things that spin you upside down and roller coasters. I like going and looking at the animals. So they have all the cows, they have all the sheep, the goats, the big horses, the big draft horses. Yeah, Dave, is where I learned not to stand behind on a cow when they lift their tail. Yep. You’re going to get uh shrapnelled by cow gunk. Yeah. So that’s what the Calgary Stampede like. It’s basically an amusement fair. They do have the rodeo. They have the chuck wagons every night. The chuck wagons are pretty fun to watch. Uh the animal stuff is really cool where they have show animals which includes all the cows, the bulls. Uh they have the super dogs show up. They have guys riding on like motorbikes doing flips and jumps in the air right inside. Uh that’s kind of like our big deal here in Calgary every year. I think the stampede has been going on since the 1800s, the late like 1890s, something like that. Uh it’s the biggest rodeo in the world. It’s the apparently the greatest outdoor show on earth. I didn’t make that up. Two weeks ends Labor Day weekend. Okay. So, it’s a two weekaker. So, I’m sure the amusement fair shows up, the mini donuts, all the horrible food that you shouldn’t eat is all there probably at the CE as well. I think uh way back in the day, I think Vancouver had the PE Pacific National Exhibition. Pretty sure about that. And I think I’m into that one, too. I used to live in Vancouver for a while. 15 seconds now, guys. Here. Pelon’s going to catch them. They’re at 9 km out. The guy’s not giving up either. He’s sitting on the front on his bike. Hinka for Hinka Advaric Austrian team. So I wonder where they get their bikes from. I like to think some of these bikes are still handmade in the countries where they come out of, but the reality is most are built either in China or Taiwan. And I think there’s been a huge quality increase in some of the bikes now. Okay. Riding nice here. Riding nice. So, they’re going to pull him back shortly, guys. 9.1 km to go here. Pretty blocky on the front of the Pelon. Every team’s trying to get it up there now. A lot of people waiting in these little shallow river areas. Oh, this is like a damn, like a weird system here over a bridge. People cooling off in the hot weather. 15 seconds still to go. Uh, ever since they tore down the Flyer, roller coaster tends to drop. Yeah. Yeah, cuz I think the roller coaster was a permanent fixture. Dude, we have the same thing, Dave. Love it. They used to have a new innovative product fair. So, yeah, we have the Beimo Center here, Bank of Montreal Center. It’s a giant freaking like it looks like an art museum. Uh, that’s where you go when you see the guy who has the world’s sharpest knives and the creams you put on your face to instantly deage you by 15 years. U special pillows, fudge, and whatever else you can think of. You can spend hours browsing around in there, looking at all the cool new products. It’s just people trying to sell stuff. But I like going in there. I like actually going and looking through the animal area. Yeah, there you go. As a child, I sat in original with massage built in. Yeah, that’s the kind of stuff they have there. Special massagers. Okay, dude. Just pulls over. Uh, dude, Luke Bondorf. Nice action at the front, dude. He pulls over, has a quick yawn straight out back of the pelon. I think one of his teammates just waved at him as he went by. He’s going to try to filter right into the back of the pelon. Dude, don’t fall too far back. He’s trying to get on wheels now. Uh it’s going to start speeding up as he’s, you know, just been caught and he is on the back right now. So don’t believe what you’re seeing on screen. I’m I’m seeing ahead here. Yeah. Now he’s caught by the pelon. Uh 7 km to go. They got the camera on him right now. He is sitting on the back. Great job. Yeah, good effort here for this dude. Herinka Advarix. Luke Bettorf. He’s just recovering at the back. Love seeing that kind of stuff. You know, guys, he’s out there front two representing his team, right? Uh it’s all for sponsors. Uh hey, if you are a bike manufacturer, what a better way to sell bikes than having your bike out front. Uh and that’s what the company is. It says it’s based in Austria. Uh the bike they ride is a Hinga. So I got to assume it’s a new bike manufacturer. Oh, so Dave saying that display was still there the last time I was there. So the the original Lazy Boy display was still there. They’re just bringing it back every year. Yeah. So that’s really the kickoff to summer. And Dave, I don’t know if you’ve ever been out to Calgary during the Stampede, but like when I worked in downtown Calgary, Calgary basically shuts down for that week. If if you’re in oil and gas in Calgary, so every morning you go to So this the parade is on Friday, they have sneak a peak the Thursday night, you can sneak into the park, sneak in. They still charge you. They just opened it up earlier. The parade’s Friday, the stampedes open that day. The Chucks kick off that night. There’s rodeo every day in downtown Calgary. The following week, like Monday through Friday, you go out for a pancake breakfast every morning. You go to the parties that are out there sponsored. These parties probably cost a h 100red grand to run for some of the companies. A lot of them have been dialed back now. They got so expensive. Uh and Calgary really isn’t doing that great for oil and gas right now. I don’t know what’s going to happen to Calgary. And uh that’s why I’m not working anymore. And uh basically go have fun. Don’t come back to the office if you’ve been drinking. And so some people would do that every day of the week. Every day of the week. And there’d be parties at lunchtime and there’d be parties after work. And then people will go to the stampede. You would drag yourself to work in the morning. Just show up. I’m here. And then you go to the next party. The best domestique slide in the back door and recover quite quickly. Yeah, he’s back there still. 2008. Okay. So quite a while ago now. Uh, Visma Lisa bike sitting on the front. Sudal there as well. I see several riders just kind of slowly sliding over now. They’re under the 5k mark. Is every race now doing 5k for the crashing or some still doing threes? See a lot of bottles being thrown on the side of the road. I don’t know if you should be throwing your bottles here, boys. Uh, there’s really no fans there. So, obviously, it’s not a not a uh garbage disposal area. The air show was the huge Toronto. So I didn’t know about that either. Toron I dude I haven’t been to Toronto. God I don’t know. I probably haven’t been in Toronto in 40 years longer. I don’t know when. Maybe I would have landed there on a flight quickly. I just don’t know. So I would have been in Niagara Falls like I don’t know 76 77 78 something like that in that ballpark. I think I was there a couple times too visiting I think I started grade one in St. Cathine’s and I was I was only there like four or five months. I was that kid that went to like 20 different schools got dragged everywhere. Okay, teams are now getting organized, guys. Teams are getting organized. Kind of like big blobs on the roads. There’s a big open section in the middle of the road deciding which side of the roads they want to ride on. Where is Sudal right now? I’m looking for Luke Lampertie. Riders are already pulling off too. The guy was almost cycross. Okay, there’s Sudal on the far left hand side of the road. Getting organized, guys. Uh 3 km out now. Vosters is at the front. Sudal’s at the front. Profile of the final 3 km. Wow. That looks quite dramatic, doesn’t it? When you look at the detail profile here right now, uh there’s little bumps up and down. There is a 3% kick at the end. I did say earlier I thought there looks like there’s a tiny little kick at the very finish. So tiny bit of a wall, then it’s over. This won’t even affect these guys. So Vosters’s at the front, Sudal’s over on the other side. Riders are already pulling off. Sudal has three riders up front protecting Junior Lurf. Uh where is Luke Lampertie? I think he’s going to show up out of nowhere. Yeah, kind of like the Pelaton’s riding either side of the road with a big open section in the middle. Trying to keep people off their wheels, I think, is what they’re doing. They’re trying to ride them in the gutter. Make it harder for them to uh get draft there. Not sure who this white and green team is, but they’re right there as well. Uh, in 201 people wanted to cancel our show because of the a lot of Syrian refugees in the area. Okay. You have to see Clifton Hall now. Sort of like Canada’s Vegas. Oh, really? I didn’t know that. Clifton Clifton Hill. Okay. I’m going to look that up, dude. So, why cancel the air show because of Syrian refugees? I don’t get it. Were they like did they have like refugee camps set up for them? I don’t understand that. Uh yeah, there’s a huge blob on the left hand side of the road and a huge blob on the right hand. So everyone’s getting involved here. The left hand side of the road is being dominated by XDSAN. Uh it’s development team though and Sudal Quickstep. Sudol Quickstep. They’re not called Sudal Quickstep anymore, are they? They’re not. They are called Sud. Okay, thank you. I thought I was going back 10 years. There it is actually Sudal Quickstep. 1.2 2 km to go. Red Bull rookies are at the front here, too. They’ve just shown up here. They pulled up in front of Sudal. Looks like there’s three or four of them there. It’s all camera shots here, guys. It’s really hard for me to get a look at here. Uh, I’m going to try to figure this out. Again, I don’t know much of the riders names here, especially the Red Bull rookies. Yeah, Luke Lampertie has three teammates at the front. I am seeing Sudall there. It’s about to go off, folks. 900 meters to go according to that guy. I might be slightly behind here. Speeds getting up 43.4k an hour. And remember, that’s just the average speed going up in the last little chunk of the race. So, they’re actually going way faster than that right now. A lot of curvy swerving going on in the middle here. I’m just stay upright, guys. Stay upright. One touch of wheels here. Uh, okay. So, that looks pretty good there. Let’s see what’s going to happen here now. Looks like we got a hard lefthander coming up. hard left-hander cross a bridge. Looks like they’re heading right into downtown here of the city we’re finishing in in Ostraa. Ooh, nice lead out here by by Sudal. Here we go. I have no idea who this is, but he is flying up the road on an early attack, guys. I don’t know. Blue jersey. It’s not a Sudal rider. Actually, it might be. It looked like a sprinter’s body type. I think Junior Surf might have been leading leading out Lampertie there. Yeah, it is Lampertie. Wow. Easy part was pulling there. Was that Ean Park pulling? I saw the yellow jersey leading out uh Luke Lampertie here. Uh so he’s in a different jersey. I’m seeing a lot of blue on his jersey. It’s blue with green flashes. That’s because he’s in probably in the points classification. So, he’s got a different jersey on from the Sudal jersey. That’s funny though. Uh GC points is Junior Surf, but he’s wearing Who is Yeah. No, it’s not. It’s not Lampertie, guys. It’s not. Yeah, it’s body wrap. I I saw the rider going to the front and I’m like, that’s not a Sudal rider. So they’ve got as the winner today Liam Walsh from Cash Cross body wrap Lampertie second. So I’m looking at the jerseys here going okay he’s in a bunch of blue. Is that Sudal? It doesn’t look like Sudal. Is Lampertie wearing a different jersey which I think he would be today. Uh because Lampertie is second in the points. Junior Surf is in the race leaders jersey. Yeah, that’s right. So that would mean the points jersey would go to Lampertie. So I had a hard time identifying him. There was a yellow jersey at the front. Maybe that was Lampertie leading out. And then this dude went right by him like a rocket. Guys, sorry I kind of didn’t have that all figured out there. Uh let’s take a look. Let’s see if they got prelims here. 13th victory for cash body wrap. Guys, these are continental level team guys here. Continental right here. Let’s take a look at Liam Walsh himself. This is the dude that just won it right here. He’s Australian. Big dude, 1.82 m, 80 kilos, full-size guy. Pretty aggressive sprint here. Uh, so there it is. There. So that is okay. What is the color is the leader jersey here? That’s what I’m trying to figure out right now. since they’re not showing me. Okay, let me get caught up here. Uh oh, PTSD. Okay, I got you. So, Clifton Hill, I have to check that out. White and green Kaharell possibly. It was it was a helicopter shot, so I had a hard time figuring it out. And this guy here, who I thought was Luke Lampertie, uh I thought he was wearing a blue jersey for the points classification. Yeah, totally different rider. Uh, this is a continental team rider. He’s got Australian socks on. Liam Walsh, two career pro wins. So, I’m watching the finish again here. I think Luke Lampertie is wearing the yellow jersey. I think that’s their points jersey. He’s not in the lead of the race. Junior Surf’s in the lead. So, at first to me it looked like Junior Surf was leading out a Sudal rider. Yeah, there’s the yellow jersey rider up front. gets passed by Liam Walsh. Straight to the finish here. Uh, and how did that finish go there? So, that must have been Luke Lampertie there going for Yep. second place. I think Lampertie got second place today, guys. I need to go through this quickly, guys, so I can get my brain working here. Preliminary results. Yeah, it was. So, Luke Lampertie is wearing a yellow jersey. So that kind of threw me off there. I thought that was Junior Surf leading out Sudal who was in blue. All that blue is Liam Walsh for cash body wrap here. Um Marceli Bogosloski comes in third. Nicarapos Arvantu looks like a Greek rider for team United Shipping. And we got a team Vorlberg rider here. Alexander Konesev. Here’s the GC. Uh that’s preliminary results. Okay, I just saw the GC. Where did that go? Actual GC. Can we see this today? Uh, nope. That’s as of yesterday. I may have to look at it over here. Oh, wow. Fifth stage winner ever for Australia at the Czech tour is Liam Walsh. Names from the past. Damian House. And that’s one that jumps out to me right away. So, I don’t have GC stats yet, guys. Yeah, that was kind of a confusing finish for me just with the jerseys. Luke, so Luke Lampertie went really early right after the corner. Uh, and then this Conti rider, Liam Walsh, comes through, takes the win, and he launched it huge. Uh, let me come back here, guys. Liam Walsh wins. Exactly. Fabik. Okay, so Fabik, what color is the leader jersey? That’s what cuz I swear I thought I saw Junior Surf in a yellowish jersey, too, but obviously not. I must have been cusing with uh confusing him with Lampertie earlier. Lampertie is in a yellowish jersey and he missed the jump. Big win for the Kiwi. Is he Kiwi or Australian? He’s Australian. This dude here, Liam Walsh, the one is uh Australian. I just look for the flag, the stars on the flag. If you see more stars, it’s Australian. Uh, Don, good job. Yeah, Aussie. Yeah, you correct yourself. That’s cool, man. Uh, yeah, Alexi Kesv is a name I haven’t heard in a while. Yeah, exactly. Okay, guys, that’s it. I have no idea what color the jersey is in this race. So, the general jersey here. Hopefully, they show me here. They don’t show me. So, Junior Surf right now, that’s as of yesterday. I don’t see any GC right now. I’m sure Junior Surf will still hold it. There would have been some time bonifications at the end there. What time are we looking at, guys? It’s already almost 9:00 in the morning for me. So, it will be time to do chores right away. I’m just looking for GC here to come up. Ah, see that’s what threw me off. Fab Cycling, thank you so much, dude. Leaders jersey is yellow and the points jersey is a light floral yellow jersey. Easy to confuse. Yeah, I was totally lost her, dude. I thought I’m like who’s leading out the yellow jersey for Sudal? That’s Junior. But I’m like why would Junior be leading out the sprint? He’s a little climber. GC Junior Surf right here. It’s still 4 seconds back to Aleandro. Still 9 seconds back to Keon Utbrooks. No brain melting. Uh 32 seconds back to Santiago. Pretty much the same as yesterday, guys. Nothing’s changed. It’s all about the sprinters today. Hopefully, we’ll see the points classification here, too. Waiting for that now. Nice that they actually go do they do go down to the 20th place overall here for the GC. See if there’s Nome Ara. Uh well, I think I think they have him as Nahomes. When you look at pro cycling stats, wow, another stage done, guys. I think this is a really really good race. Check tour. I’ll be definitely this one’s going on the list uh probably priority for next year. Yes, guys, I said it. I’ll still be doing this next year. So, yeah. Well, I don’t know why they wouldn’t have the jerseys different colors cuz I did see Junior earlier. I did see Luke earlier. Uh from a distance, you can’t tell the two apart. Yeah. Here’s another church built in the second half. Castle built in the second half of the 13th century, the 1200s in Canada. Grizzly bears, deers, First Nations people, wolves. That’s about it. I wasn’t here. Uh, do we got any points classification coming up, guys? Points. Give me some points. I’ll see if I can get points here. Here’s the points. Oh, here’s the climbers. That’s not going to change much. Nicolo Geribo got points early today on the category 2. And we missed that climb, but that was 7.9 kilometers at 4.3%. He now has 24 points. Male Sher in second. Junior the Surf third place. That’s his points from yesterday climbing up to that big water storage hydroelect electric thing. Um Drew Slan Slani I think it was called. Uh Dawn here. Have a great day. Rest of your day. Say hi to Joey Jojo. Yeah, I think she’s still sleeping. She gets up early with me and goes right back to bed. She pours a coffee, drinks about one sip, then the coffee just fers all day long, then I clean it up. So, that’s the climbers classification. I’m going to give it one more minute to see the points jersey. Uh, and then I’m ditching, guys. I got chores to do right now. Animals to feed. I got I’m going to jump on my bike probably right away this morning. If I let it sit, it’s going to be noon and then I’m not going to want to get on. So, points. I’m going to look here. Yep. No new points yet. I don’t think that’s correct. So, I’m going to wait here for it to show up on Flow Bikes. More replays. Yeah, there’s Luke Lamp party. He went from a long ways out. The guy that was coming though did not like surf his wheel very much. He just went straight past him. Full massive SR71 Blackbird thrusters kicking in. Okay, the GC’s finally showing up there. and give us some points. Points, classifications, come on. I’m getting impatient. Flow bikes. Big win for this dude. So, they should show uh points now since he’ll be fighting for him now. Thanks again, dude. Yeah, Chemistry Club. Thanks for being here, dude. Really appreciate it. Hope to see everyone tomorrow. We’ll do Tour of Roman D and then I’ll do the uh Hamburg Cycling Classics at the same time. So, yeah, guys, just look for one stream tomorrow. So that’s what I’ll do. I’ll do the tour of Romedy and I’ll just transition to the Hamburg Cycling Classic. The one race is a lot longer than the uh Tour of Romydy race. Oh, check this out. Last races in which Junior Surf wore the yellow the leader jersey. Tour of Rwanda in 2023. Tour of Rwanda in 2024. Did not win the races though. Uh we will be in Rwanda this year for the World Championships, guys. I’ll be doing that race, too. Uh, thanks again, Chemistry Club here. Uh, think about getting a Patreon account, dude. I will. I just lot more work to do and I know I’m not I’m not very good at promoting myself just the way I am. Okay guys, anyways, uh, they’re still having a chitchat here. I’m going to jump now, guys. I just want to get my day started. I want to get my bike ride in. Uh, I’m going to see you all. It’s going to be super early start tomorrow, too. Join me whenever you can. Thanks for watching. Colin Inside Cycling World. Uh, slap a like on the way out. Appreciate all you guys being here.
