I went on a bike adventure with my wife around Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland. We rented e-bikes, followed winding coastal roads, visited the famous Wormhole (Poll na bPéist), explored ancient cliffside ruins (Dún Aonghasa), and stopped for lunch at a cozy island café.

If you’re dreaming of Irish island life, rugged landscapes, or planning your own Aran Islands adventure… this one’s for you.

I am here with my wife Annie. We are on the Aaron Islands in Ireland and we’re about to go on a bike adventure. Here we go. [Music] Boy, these ebikes are awesome. It’s like no work at all. [Music] We are passing horses and horsedrawn carriages. All right, we arrived at our first stop. This is called the wormhole. I don’t know what that is, but we’re going to find out. [Music] So, this is the wormhole. It’s like a naturally formed rectangle right in the rock. It’s like the ocean has formed this rectangle right here. That’s incredible. It’s a wormhole. [Music] All [Applause] [Music] right, stop number two. Time for some food. [Music] All right, we just had some lunch. Now we’re heading up a hill to check out a ruin. [Music] [Music] Boy, imagine living here in 1100 BC on top of this hill. [Music] Okay, and thus concludes our Inismore Aaron Island bike tour. What’ you think? Great. What would you give that bike tour out of 10? 10 out of 10. 10 out of 10. Ebikes are so easy. The ebikes were great. Uh the whole island Inismore is just totally worth a visit. I think that seeing the wormhole, seeing the ruins on the top of the hill, um, and you can even get yourself like a little bit like a snack, it’s a totally amazing island. And the ebikes made it a whole lot easier. I would also give that a 10 out of 10. If you’re visiting Ireland, definitely check out the Aaron Islands and check out Inismore. Thanks for watching and we’ll see you next time. [Music] [Music]
