The morning starts quietly — just coffee, my thoughts, and yesterday’s customs decision still on my mind. Then the day takes an unexpected turn: friends invite me to their village. While I’m on the way, a new message from customs arrives. The updated valuation is much better, but still not ideal. I decide that riding my motorcycle matters more right now, so I agree.
The rest of the day is a mix of simple country joys — walking with dogs and cats, exploring the village, dinner together, and even drinking fresh water straight from a roadside pump. All the while, I’m thinking about the choice I just made. By the evening, the customs fees are paid, and my Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is released. Now it’s just waiting to bring it from Minsk to Mogilev.

Even though this situation with motorcycle, but what I started to think that I don’t control everything. I can’t uh control on the people on the customs uh to work faster or something like that. I just did it everything I wanted. I I could to do for example like to write this later. And so yeah, we’ll see. We’ll see. We’ll see. Like sometimes you need to let go of this situation. Of course, what’s the what I don’t like about this situation that the summer is ending. It’s August 14 and so probably two maximum three months I can ride this year and so definitely I pass I got my license uh in in the May and I expected that I can uh ride for probably from July or something like that. I had expectation and so right now it’s the middle of August. Yeah. Yeah. But this is how it goes. Uh there are a lot of options actually how I can ride. Uh probably in the winter probably in the winter probably I can go to uh other country for example for a month or two like in Asia rent a bike and uh ride there. Yeah, there are a lot of options. It’s not a big deal. But definitely definitely uh the soon the sooner is better. It’s definitely, but like I said before, just let go and we’ll see how it goes. [Music] Heat. Heat. It’s an infinite process for me even though it’s in Minsk in Belarus right now at the customs service in Minsk. Yeah, I actually I started the process on May 29th. Uh yeah, more than two two and a half months months ago and there’s still no motorcycle and so I have no idea when I get it because it’s crazy. It’s crazy. all all stages we have problem uh first of all we started to get problems in Warsa whenever we wanted to buy it in Poland in Warsa but they didn’t want to sell us motorcycle for the net price without uh taxes then we decided to buy it in Hamburg in Germany we bought it in Hamburg uh and so we waited uh transportation from Hamburg to Warsa we waited couple weeks then we uh to delivered to Warsa. After that, we waited a couple weeks to to transfer it from Borsa to Minsk. Then we transferred it from Warsa to Minsk and we stuck at the border uh for a week even more for nine or 10 days. And right now we stacked uh at the customs service and all stages we have this uh delays two weeks, one week and right now yeah it’s a custom service. Tomorrow is going to be one week. It’s crazy. It’s crazy, brothers. I have never thought about this. But anyway, anyway, it’s an experience. Uh, how many dogs? One. Oh, the big one. Small smaller one and the smaller one. Yeah. Look at them. I don’t agree with this price, but I think I’m going to agree because I I can’t uh I can’t wait anymore. And so yeah, I will pay extra for $100 than I expected. But but it’s not fine. It’s not uh what I really wanted. But so it will be better much better to get motorcycle as as soon as I can. So, I paid all this uh taxes, custom clearances, and so right now it cost me around around €2,100, something like that. To be honest, I expected less. I expected,500, something like that. But anyway, anyway, this is how it goes. I uh right now I have understanding how it works to uh deliver motorcycle for example from uh outside of the Barerus. Uh it worked it I think but it has some issues. It has some problems and yeah you definitely need to be careful if you do this type of work but anyway anyway it’s experience I got it. I believe I will get motorcycle very very soon. Uh just a matter of time. It happens. Okay, it’s alive. Uh sometimes it doesn’t go the way you really want to go, but at least I have a lot of fun. My friends invites me to this village. You can see. And so this is how it works. This is uh really really cool. I like I like it so much. That’s why that’s why I um Yeah, I’m happy. I’m happy. I just can’t win motorcycle. I just want to take it probably this week. I believe uh it’s possible to do this. It’s a water. You can just drink water from this. I used to drink it a lot of uh in my childhood, but right now we don’t have a lot of this stuff. But this how it works like Yeah. Yeah, it’s the tastiest water I’ve ever tried. Actually, highly recommend if you find this one. I don’t know. It’s really really tasty. Uh usually water uh is really really clear here and so because it’s like um from the ground and so yeah. Yeah, it’s really really good water. It’s really tasty. And so before we didn’t have water in every house, especially in villages. Uh in villages there’s still no um water in every house. So you need to go to this uh type of devices and you and get it. But uh in cities too because I I I used to I lived in parents house and it’s a private houses and there was no central water for example. Yeah. There was no pipe that delivers water to to houses. That’s why we use it uh this type of things. And so yeah, we we took buckets and went to the uh to get this water and yeah, actually it was really really fun. You I really really liked it. But anyway anyway, it’s much better when you have in your house because it’s more convenient. It’s like more uh civilization right now in the cities in villages too because a lot of villages also does not have this type of thing. A lot of devices. A groom. Gro, what a funny dog. Uh finally, finally my motorcycle went through this uh customs and so right now it’s uh uh in the garage of a man who works with delivery of this motorcycle. And so I just need to go meet to Minsk and take pick this motorcycle up and bring it to Maggalof. So because it’s like Yeah, I’m so happy. It was really really tough and but anyway anyway uh I believe it was it was worth it. Yeah, finally finally it took three and a half months uh but yeah I’m really happy. It’s called dog and so it’s my friend’s village and they asked me to bring bring pick them up to this v village. Uh we had some dinner uh etc. Anyway, today was a really really good day.
