we’ve finished our summer of events and are now frantically getting everything ready for our latest cycling adventure. A 1000 km bike ride down through some of our favourite parts of France. Starting in Saint Malo and pedalling through Brittany, on our way to the beautiful Marais Poitevin.
Then to Angoulême to watch the first rugby match of the PROD2 season for our team Provence Rugby, before cycling through some of ‘Les Plus Beaux Villages de France’ in the Dordogne & Lot et Garonne and into Bordeaux along the superb Roger Lapebie cycle trail.
Another train to Aix en Provence, arriving just in time for Provence’s first home match of the season too, and finally back into The Luberon and home.
We’ll be posting daily videos and blogs, as we wend our way down through France, so hope you enjoy following us along the way.

[Music] So, the sun’s set on the summer. We’ve had a great time doing a lot of agricultural fairs in Devon whilst we’ve been back in the UK. Even won some prizes, but it’s time to get back on the bikes. We took them out for a bike ride this morning, had a coffee, testing them for our next adventure, which starts on Monday. We’ll cycle to exit, catch the train to Southampton, and then cycle and take some little fairies all the way through to Portsmouth in time for the night ferry through to San Marlo, which we haven’t visited for years. Then we’ll pedal down through France, visiting some favorite places, watching rugby, and then we’ll catch the train through back to Marseilles up to a for more rugby before finally pedalling home. We hope you enjoy following the journey. There will be daily blogs and little videos.
