[Music] there’s a little village in Provence that I always find myself returning to Today I’m here on my own with my camera to capture and share the charm of this special place I’ve visited many villages in Provence but this one has always felt like a little piece of home away from home There’s something about the energy here It brings out creativity and there is something that just gives me peace It’s the kind of place where you don’t need a plan Just wandering the streets is enough [Music] [Music] Warmerin is known for its Friday market the chateau and just how charming it is here But I think what’s so special is just wandering around through the side streets and just slowing down I am going to head to a cafe It is pretty busy on the main street but this is what’s so special is you just come on the side streets and it’s completely quiet and it feels like it’s just you and this village take a little breather and enjoy maybe a cup of tea or coffee So let’s go and try and find a little charming cafe here in Larin We got to be just a slow dance with the summer heat The world outside can’t wait a few cuz right now we got nothing else to do The sun is peeking through the cotton white blinds Your hands still tangled up in mine Feet on the wall your head on me Floating easy We got nowhere to be Got nowhere to be Your hair’s a mess but you don’t mind You just laugh Let it fall where it lies [Music] No trip to Laurarin is complete without stopping by the Friday market Market market We have about one more hour I think before they start closing everything up And it’s really really beautiful to see that everything just looks like still life You have the fresh olives you have the garlic the French baskets There’s just so much to see and it’s usually very very busy unless you get here early in the morning But it is already midday So we will see what is left at the market and try and just capture all the beauty that this beautiful village has to offer Like the summer rain that falls slowly on the naked skin upon your back Oh it feels like that Like a love song on a worn out track Yeah it feels like that Feels like that Yeah it feels like that [Music] Feels like [Music] Wow [Music] [Music] I am strolling alone just minding my business hum I’m happy by myself not a care in the world This is alive Just me myself and I I am watching the clouds up in the sky All but laugh it out loud I’m telling you why I’m living the life Just me myself and [Applause] [Music] I I used to think that life was cold lonely When you up and left me sadness overwhelmed for me I am out and about Paint the tower red I’m coming around There ain’t no doubt about it I’m no longer blue Just Well I tried to go to Lumulong for lunch something different because I always eat at the same restaurant here But they are very very busy and they were going to be able to prepare a salad for me but it just had arugula and tomatoes And I wanted something more than just um salad with tomatoes So I’m off to see if there is room for me at my favorite restaurant Pizza Noni which is a shame because I would have loved to eat at Lumulan because I’ve only had drinks there But it is what it is Next time I know to make reservations ahead of time It is super super crazy busy in the village and that’s why I just love getting out early But there’s a bus that comes here which is the 9:09 and it doesn’t leave Exxon Provence till about 10 a.m So I arrived here around 11 Yeah So I arrived during the rush hours basically But that’s okay I am going to head to Pizza Hopefully they have a spot for me So let’s see This is the problem with uh sometimes being vegan It could be a little bit difficult to find a restaurant but that’s okay I do love my picnics So let’s go see if I can find a spot at the restaurant [Music] I have arrived to my secret garden which is not so much a secret but it feels like it is because I’m always the only one here This is where the locals come and hang their laundry I like to kick my shoes off and make myself feel right at home It just feels like a warm embrace And I absolutely adore it here The starlings are just flying over catching their lunch And I’m about to eat mine I usually love to go to the market and get fresh produce and then come and eat it here But I wanted to do something different and go to a restaurant today which didn’t happen So I just picked up a sandwich and I’m going to sit here all by my little old self and enjoy this perfect day It’s much more calm It was a little bit to be honest with you uh kind of crazy in the center because I usually come here during the quieter months and it is tourist season now It has begun So everyone is enjoying this beautiful village as they should And this is where I just feel like I can slow down and just embrace Mother Earth and be embraced by her and this charming village I am excited to eat my sandwich I am starving We have a beautiful view of the chateau from here and it’s just it’s perfect [Music] Hallelujah [Music] Praise be to God [Music] Laura Marin was one of the first villages I ever visited when moving to Provence and it honestly speaks to my soul just being here I always just feel such peace whenever I’m visiting even with all the crowds I’m currently sitting right in front of the chateau and I’ve visited the chateau before so if you do care to see that video I’ll link it in the description for you I also used to hate going to places on my own It is something I had to get used to living here and kind of just starting my life over here in the south of France And now I enjoy it It also is really really important I think to spend that quality time with yourself especially if you can find a place that speaks to you like Luraran speaks to me And I hope uh watching this video you are able to feel the peace and comfort of this beautiful region And I hope that you can also find a place in your area wherever you are living that speaks to your soul as well It’s just it’s so nice right now It is so quiet and peaceful here I have the olive groves to my right and the castle to my left And I I’m just yeah I’m always filled with gratitude whenever I come here and I love to come here with Paul as well and he’s working today So this is just a moment I get to spend with myself and um practice my gratitude and enjoy the beauty of Lauren Listen for me I’m going to show you what I got I got postcards from the little tea shop I sat at And I thought these would be perfect for the postcard club So thank you for all of you who support me over there monthly just one time I really really appreciate it I also picked up uh a little matcha set And uh this is perfect cuz I’ve been needing the little scoop as well as a place to put my matcha whisk I already have a matcha whisk but that’s okay It came out as a set for €15 And last but not least I picked up some cherries I got a little bag of cherries for a 40ent So it’ll be perfect to have with my glass of rosé They are so sweet I think those are the sweetest and like very tart The best cherries I’ve had so far And this is where I’m going to end my day And I just wanted to thank you guys for
