Picked up the new BSC300 bike computer from AE a little while back, and it finally showed up today.

📱 First Impressions
Right out of the box, it’s tiny , super sleek and way lighter than I expected. Compared to my old 406, this thing is basically two sizes smaller. Buttons have a nice, crisp click to them, and everything’s single-press (no long holds), which should make them last a lot longer.

đź“‹ Display & Interface
Downloaded the iGPSPORT app, and I’ve gotta say , the UI is clean, simple, and customizable. You can mix and match a bunch of different data fields, even real-time graphs. Every cyclist knows: a good-looking display adds +5 to your mood and +10 to your watts. The jump from my old black-and-white screen to this bright, colorful display is night and day.

🔋 Battery Life
Couldn’t resist taking it out for a short ride , about 3 hours in total. Battery only dropped around 7%, so that “20-hour” claim from the brand might actually be conservative. Nice little bonus I didn’t expect: after each lap, it auto-pops your lap stats. For someone like me who mostly rides loops around the lake, that’s chef’s kiss.

🗺️ Navigation
The route feature is pretty slick , you can import popular public routes right in the app or load them via file. Way easier than having your earbuds scream “you’ve gone off course” mid ride.

📡 GPS Performance

Got a signal almost instantly when I rolled out. No missing distance, no weird jumps in the data. Checked the satellite updates and they seem pretty frequent, which explains the solid performance.

🪢 Bottom Line

For the price, you’re getting a color screen and legit long battery life, plus fast GPS, decent training features, fun app integration, and turn by turn navigation. iGPSPORT’s ecosystem is also well rounded , speed sensors, cadence sensors, radar tail lights, you name it. All in all, first ride left me really impressed. Totally worth the money.
