400 killer-metres. Ukraine’s toughest roads. Relentless heat, brutal winds, and a body pushed past breaking point. This was supposed to be my victory stretch—until multiple days of footage vanished into thin air. No cameras to prove it, just the pain, the road, and the fight to keep moving.

This is the story of the hardest 400KM I’ve ever ridden, the miles that almost ended my journey from Kyiv to London. Every push of the pedal felt like a war with my own body, but the road didn’t care. I faced exhaustion, hunger, and the crushing loss of the memories I’d worked so hard to capture.

Watch as I battle through Ukraine’s unforgiving terrain, knowing some moments will only live in my memory.

Uh, I have to share some good news and some bad news. Yo, what is going on everybody? My name is Robbie and I’m attempting to cycle from Kev through Europe to London. And today I’m a little bit angry. Before we jump into the the main part of the video, we’ll start with the bad news. We’ll give you the vegetables first. I have lost several days worth of content and I’ve just found out right now. And bro, I don’t know what I done. I must have been tired when I was transferring the files. I’ve looked everywhere on my computer. I’ve also searched on the camera on internal storage on the camera, the SD card of course. Um I’ve searched and I have lost I think I’ve lost about 3 days worth of content and it is so gutting because on one of those days we went fishing on a boat uh and it was so cool, bro. There was like a computer like sonar looking in the water and man it was just such a good day out on the water. I went to like a fire station. Uh the roads were super interesting. It was very hard. Um there might have been a bit of complaining that you you probably don’t want to hear anymore. But dude, I am so gutted. I just don’t know how to feel right now. Uh but there is good news. There is great news. I’m in Odessa. I made it. My first major milestone complete. Dude, it was not easy. Cycling through 30 plus degrees centigrade weather for 6 7 8 hours a day. Um, of course, sleeping as well outside. Um, it was tough. Not a lot of water, very dehydrated, not a lot of food, so very low energy, but we smashed it. We we kept moving. Nothing was stopping me. Um, I am actually really amazed at how I was able to push through not only the pain in my knee cuz dude like this pain in the knee is enough to like stop someone stop someone from walking right and I cycle through it. Uh, I got some damages on my other knee from cycling maybe cycling in the wrong method using the wrong method. my legs, dude. I don’t I didn’t really give my chance my legs a chance to uh recover, but they kept moving. They didn’t stop. I think mentally as well, I went through a lot of um strengthening, like mental strengthening. I think I had it anyway. Um I had it like the grit anyway, but I really tested it this on this trip. So, we made it. There is good news. Um, but unfortunately in the video that you are about to jump into, man, I’m man, I’m just so gutted. I have lost so much fun and actually interesting, like some of the most interesting parts of my journey. So, the video today, guys, is going to be the last couple of hundred miles that I traveled from Chakasi Oblast through Kovvagrad, Mikolai, and then finally into Odessa. I hope you enjoy. Um, please hit the subscribe, leave me a comment, and help me to stay motivated like you guys already are. Um, I want to say thank you for all the comments. Uh, I really appreciate you guys. All of you are really awesome. Good morning. It is day eight of cycling from Kev to London. This is my home last night. That sun feels glorious. That was probably like one of the worst nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. I went to bed. I didn’t like wash my skin. I was so tired last night, bro. So tired. I put like these warm layers on like uh this and this, but it didn’t it didn’t do anything. I was cold. Couldn’t sleep. Oh, so that sun this morning feels amazing, bro. Okay, so I started riding. I’ve just come to this shop, this magazine, and the lady here is going to make me sausages and eggs. And mate, I am so happy. She’s making me eggs and making me breakfast. I’m so happy. There’s a store. Is that nice? struggling big time today, boys. It ain’t easy, boys. I’m starting to realize that 8,000 km is uh not so simple. Maybe if anyone’s got a uh Porsche 911 GT3 RS, I can complete the the rest of the journey in that cuz that’s difficult as well, isn’t it? It’s very difficult driving a Porsche. It’s funny cuz the the amount of uh kilometers I’ve done. So far, if I just took a direct route to Odessa, I’d be in Odessa now. Okay, so I’m just cycling along this road and I’ve come across this tree with these on them. To me, they look like plums. Wow, they taste like plums as well, mate. That’s so good. I was just riding along here and I was thinking, man, I hope I can come across some sort of a uh fruit tree cuz I’ve got no food on me, no shops nearby. Nice little morale boost, some fresh fruit. What What I really want is cherries. I love cherries. Just found an apple tree as well. All the sunflowers are sad because there’s no cherries here. Mate, these roads are off their head. I just come up there. I mean, you can’t tell, but it’s an uphill just around that corner. It’s a bit steeper. And I’m worried up there. It’s going to be a bit steeper. Actually, maybe no. But dude, these roads are off their head, mate. Like, this is not a bad one. This is not a bad one. But it’s so much worse than when it when it’s bad, it’s worse. And I never get my camera out to show you because I just want to complete it, you know? Anyway, I’ve realized that I’ve haven’t had any breakfast. And Ivan gave me lots of food. So, I found shade here in this field. And we’re going to look at what Ivan gave us for food today. And we’ll have some breakfast. Tell you what, man. It’s very hot today. I think it’s only about 9:00 a.m. Can’t be much more than 9:00 a.m. Oh, good. No signal, it’s 20 9. Okay, let’s see what Ivan gave us for food. Look at that. Oh, look at that. It is just like an MRE from the army. Oh, it says loads of things. Every command which can be misunderstood will be. Yeah, that’s a true one. Professional soldiers are predictable. The world is full of dangerous amateurs. Never draw fire. It irritates everyone around you. There’s no such thing as a perfect plan. That’s exactly what our motto is for the day. Okay, we’ll read some more of those later. So, let’s see what we got. So, we got a chicken masaman potato. That sounds pretty good. And we could do with some potatoes. Hey, these look like these look like legit MREs. So, we got chicken masaman. What is masaman? Chili conci. Okay. Chili concarni. If I have got PTSD from anything in this war, it is the Polish MREs. Chili conci. And it’s not even the chili conani that gave me the the the PTSD. It’s the pasta that came with it. Meal three. Oh my god. Poland. Thank you Junoya Badzo for the food. But come on, you got to love your soldiers more than meal three, bro. Seriously. Instant noodle. There’s a whole meal there. Awesome. Granola. Oh, that would be nice for breakfast. Fruit cubes. Granola fruit mix. Isotonic drink mix. These are the best. These are really important. Strawberry milkshake. Whey powder milkshake. Amazing, dude. This is a This is an amazing um Look at that. Even Even the spoon is like good, bro. Some good p good good toilet paper. Good uh newspaper, whatever. Cheese biscuits. We’ll have to try those out later. M I don’t know what that is. Oh, it’s like a chocolate cream. It’s like hazelnut cream. Chocolate bar. Field essentials. Salty caramel energy bar. Apple pie energy bar. Something I don’t know, maybe in Swedish. Fruit skunked stung. Banana split protein bar. Bro, this M. This is amazing, bro. Chocolate chip biscuits and roasted and salted peanuts. Oh, dude. I’m not being funny. That is a legit M. I mean, that’s probably good for like 2 days, I think. I think you’ll be solid for two days if you’re out working. And that spoon is awesome. M spoons are always so so bad, mate. Ivan, I know you’re probably never going to watch this video, but brother Dako, so I reckon I reckon I’m going to try this for breakfast. Chicken masam with potato. No idea what it is. I’ve never eaten it before. Um I’m sure it’s going to be okay. Cold, but that’s got some chicken and it’s got some potatoes, which I need cuz dude, my legs are on fire today. And I’m I’m guessing it’s because I haven’t had any um uh like protein or um carbohydrates. So, what are the ingredients? Potato, 35% chicken, 19.5. And there’s just a whole load of random stuff. So, there’s cumin, galangal. All right. I’m guessing this is some sort of like a curry. It sounds like a curry. Oh, yeah. It’s curry. Smells pretty good, actually. It does smell very good. One bite. Everyone knows the rules. Bro, one bite. Everyone knows the rules. Look at that. One bite, mate. That is delicious. Out meals. I’ve never heard of them. That is delicious, bro. Okay, so I’m just checking the weather. We got 28° today. It says that it feels like 30 and we got highs of 32 and lows of 19. Severe forest fire warning. These conditions started at 8:34 on Wednesday, the 6th of August. It’s the Ukrainian Hydro Metrological Center. It’s going to feel about 33° at 2:00. Bro, it does not feel like 28°. It feels a lot warmer than 28°. Um, I think it’s going to be a slow day today because like dude, my body is like dripping wet and you can see my back. It feels like it’s wet. The road’s really hard today. So, today’s going to be a steady one. We’re probably just going to eat loads of food, go easy, and just try and have a nice day. Try and keep mentally sane. So, Oh, this is actually hilarious. It’s got like jokes all over the uh the packaging. The easy way is always mind. Friendly fire isn’t. Teamwork is essential. It gives the enemy other people to focus at. I don’t know. Never forget that your weapon was made by the lowest bidder. Actually, I had a really good weapon, so that doesn’t count for me. If it’s stupid but it works, it isn’t stupid. That’s That was our motto. So, some of those are quite funny. Anything you do can get you hurt, including nothing. This is what my road looks like. Well, basically all day so far. And it told me that I was going to be on like normal road surface, paved roads. It done me dirty. You lied to me. Completely lied to me. This was a road one day. Not anymore. Oh my god. Thanks for this. Ow. Damn it, I went the wrong way. There was a turning up there. Oh, I got to turn around. Yo, what’s up, guys? I am in a nuclear bomb place. That’s a nuke right behind me. And I’ve been told I’m not allowed to film. There are police here. And I’m hiding from the police now just to make you this video. But I’m going to take lots of photos and I’m going to show you guys. Unfortunately, I can’t go around and I can’t make videos. So, wait for the photos. That is a real nuclear bomb. That was pointed at us. The Soviet Union pointed that at us. So, we have made it to Mikolai oblastifa oblast. This is actually our fourth oblast now. Uh we went Keefe, Chassi, Kerovo, Grad, and now we’re in Mikolka. We’re welcomed by this young lady. Bro, it is absolutely red hot in that sun. I’ve just come out the nuclear bomb um a apple tree. Come out the nuclear bomb museum. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t let me make any videos in there. It’s kind of annoying. They let me take photos, but no videos. I don’t really understand that rule, but they’re rules. I got to abide by them. Found an apple tree. I’m more so on a main road and it is amazing to ride on this road. Compared to those like dirt tracks, bro, for the last bit of Ukraine, I’m going to stay on the main road. I know it’s probably more dangerous with the trucks and stuff. Like you can see the trucks coming through here, but dude, this is so easy to ride on. I can move fast and I can also get water and stuff at gas stations. When I go through the uh [ __ ] his little thing was open. His little door was open. when I go through like these uh these back roads, bro. It’s just it’s too hard and I’m not I’m really not feeling it right now. So, what I’m going to do is find some shade. Maybe I’ll stay here cuz the sun is pretty much directly above us. Yeah, I’ll just sit here under the Michelave sign and I’m going to eat that chili conani. I need some energy. Chili conc carani. Get back on the road. Ta. See you in a bit. Go. Seriously, I might have an apple. They’re they’re really good. They’re bloody delicious. They are. All right. Oh, by the way, what’s up, bro? I went through the procedure to turn the nuke on and launch the nuke up to uh wherever. Probably probably my country, the United Kingdom, cuz they used to they would have aimed those at us, by the way. Like I know I know we’re friends now, but we weren’t friends back then. And at any moment, they were ready to like bomb us literally with nukes. But yeah, I went through the procedure like turn the key, press the button, and it’s like But man, I wish I could have filmed it. It’s so sad. I don’t know why I couldn’t couldn’t have filmed it. Anyway, I’m going to eat some chili car. Right, we got to come up with another plan. It is very hot today. I can’t take it. I just can’t take it. I feel like I’m going to pass out. I’m dripping with sweat, bro. I am sweating so much and I haven’t got a lot of water to keep rehydrating. Okay, so the nearest gas station is literally in this town called Pervman. Pervk perisk and Peramisk is 12 miles away. 23 km away. That’s going to take quite a while to cycle. I can probably do it in about an hour and a half, an hour maybe. I’m I’m f so fast on the on the road. And it is so smooth, bro. Oh my god. It’s like it’s like heaven, bro. But it is so hot. And I don’t want to do myself a damage. Like I had to put my camera in my bag because it’s so hot, dude. Like the camera was just getting too hot. I had to take my satnav off the bike and put the satnav in the bag as well just cuz it’s like it’s getting too hot. I know it’s too hot. See what the temperature is now. It says 32, bro. I don’t know. It doesn’t feel like 32. Maybe cuz it’s cloudy. Okay, I’m packing the camera in the bag so you’re not going to see me cycling on this road. It’s just a plain smooth road. It is really beautiful, but I’m surrounded by fields. I’ll show you. I’m just totally surrounded by fields. And it’s just a single road all the way down that way towards the small city or town or whatever it is that I’m going to. I’ve already forgotten their name. Uh so camera’s going to go in the bag so I don’t destroy it or make it too hot. And then I’m going to get on the road and I’m just going to cycle slowly. I’ll see you when I’m in the city. So, I got to my hotel like I don’t know 3 or 4 hours ago. Bro, mate, there’s ants everywhere. Like, ants have got into my bag somehow. They are everywhere, bro. These tiny little ants. I’m going to have to take my [ __ ] outside and try and clean it. I’ve made it to this mate. Look at this. They’re like literally, bro. Like, they’re literally everywhere. There’s even one on the camera. Like they’re everywhere, dude. There’s one literally about to crawl on the on the screen now. Look. You see them, mate? I feel like ass. Look, there’s ants everywhere, but they’re even outside here. They’re all in my bag. I guess they got attracted to the food up here, mate. Look at this. Oh my god. I reckon they must have got in here when I had my food earlier today. Okay, I tried to clean as much of the ants as I can. I came back in the room and that dude there are ants everywhere. They got into my backpack somehow. Um I reckon the sun got to me today. Dude, I am just feeling like terrible. I got a horrible headache. I’m like red hot, dude. My like I’m just sweating. Just just sweating like crazy. Just nonstop. There’s no AC in this room. I’ve got water and stuff. I’m going to try and get myself a bit. I feel bad cuz I need to smash it tomorrow. Oh man. Not a not a great day. I really wanted to go and enjoy that museum today with the with the nuclear bomb stuff, but dude, I smelled terrible. I was like drenched in sweat and we were in a group of people as well. So, I was like super uncomfortable the whole time. Didn’t understand anything. But dude, it was just not so pleasant, you know? I really wanted to enjoy it as well. So, I really like that stuff. It’s really interesting for me, you know. I’m not feeling good at all. I’m feeling really bad actually. I don’t think there’s any like concern like medical concern but I just think the sun just got to me today. So guys today that is the end of my day. I didn’t calculate how many kilometers I done but I I think I done around 20 uh 50 km. It would have been about 25 offroad 25 onro onro I absolutely like smashed it. So tomorrow I’m going to go on road to Odessa. I don’t I can’t keep doing these off-road rides when there’s no chance to get water or food or anything. I just want to go I want to get to the beach now, bro. I just I don’t want to be in the farms anymore in the countryside. I love it. I do love it. But if I had a motorbike, it would be nice, but I don’t have a motorbike. I have a flipping bicycle and it’s hard and it’s hot. Like, dude, it said like it was 30° today. Like 32 degrees maybe. But dude, it didn’t feel like 2°. It felt like 40°. I’m sure it was 40°. Like I I remember that hot working in that hot and that’s what it was. Guys, I’m going to just rest now. Um, thank you for watching. Thank you for commenting. Thank you for subscribing. Peace and love. Good health to everybody. Uh, today we are in Mikolai Blast. Um, and I am super grateful that it is not red hot today. I am hiding from the sun because it is kind of warm today. But thank God there is a cool breeze. Even though it’s a headwind, it is a cool breeze and I can like concentrate on the road. Uh last night, bro, I was so sick last night. I think I got too much sun and it just it just got to me. I won’t go into too many details, but I was sick, bro. I was very sick. Um, okay. So, today we are going to punch through Mikolai Evivlast down to Odessa. We have 220 kilometers and I want to try and make a big dent in that today. That’s my goal. That’s what we’re doing. And we’re doing it all on the road today. We’re not doing any farm roads. We’re not doing any farm fields. I found the issue with my Garmin. I’m running on Garmin maps now. And the the Garmin is running like a dream. Like an absolute dream. Um, so I think the issue is with Kamud, we’ve done a bit of a switch up with our um, bike today. So on the front of the bike here, we have our tori. We have an Israeli and we have uh, like this is for clutching up. So if you have a hole, we can clutch it up easy. So the ride out of the town I was in today was all uphill, but I’m happy because it was on road and the road was nice. And the people in that town were amazing. They were very like considerate of me being on the bike. They were passing really wide. They were like giving me time to turn it if turn and all this kind of stuff. So amazing people in that town. I’m super grateful. Now I’m on one of the concrete roads, one of Ukraine’s concrete roads. Dude, these roads absolutely suck. A car and a truck just drove past me going like slower than what I’m cycling on this road. They make these concrete roads in like here in Ukraine. I think they’re for the winter cuz like uh I’m not sure what these lines are called here, but they got these lines so in the winter the road doesn’t like crack and creek. And I mean it makes sense, but they uh on paper it makes sense, but they are they’re terrible roads. They’re such terrible roads. I don’t know how long I’m going to be on this road, but I’m just so grateful that I’m not on the farm in the farms today, dude. It’s beautiful out there, but I cannot I can’t do it. I just can’t do it. Not today. and not with like I’ve got 220 ks on the road and I’m on Garmin’s most direct route to Odessa. If I done through the farms and stuff, it’s like 400ks. Um, so I just want to get to Odessa. I want to get to the beach. Uh, and I want to just relax. I want to chill. I want to really chill and I I need I need to be by the beach. Okay, so today I uh I messed up a little bit. I was so I was struggling to get out today. I was really like just dude get in the get in the zone, get locked in and get on the bike. I didn’t get water. So, I’ve got like one empty bottle and one like half bottle of like that sweet stuff from yesterday. Um, and I’m not really too sure when I’m going to find another shop. Um, so that’s my mistake. It’s a rookie mistake, but hopefully we can find a shop and hopefully we can get it. So, today I’m going to really try and smash this 220ks. I’m not saying I’m going to do 220ks in one day, but I’m going to try and put a massive dent in that. Uh, so I want to be there. I want to be there at least within two days. And I’m going so fast today, bro. I must be going about 20 kilometers an hour like in like all at all times. I mean uphill. No, but on the flats I’m doing about 20 kilometers an hour. Dude, we are like in the middle of nowhere. Like literally, we’re in the middle of nowhere. But I found a gas station. I filled up my water bottle. So I’ve got three water bottles now. And I also found a Morishinska can of energy drink. Now I don’t really drink energy drinks, but Morishinska have the best water in the whole world. It’s called Volia Freedom. There’s a Kosak on the front. Kak. And it says something. This is Kiwi. Kiwi Palonitia. That’s not strawberry, is it? Kiwi strawberry. No. I give this a go. Once everyone knows the rules. Oh, mate. Once everyone knows the rules. M. That is delicious. Mate, big up Morishinska. Big up Morishinska. every time, bro. Their water is just the best, bro. They didn’t have more Shinska in there, though. They They have these cans, but no more Shinska water. So, I had to get another another variant. Oh, mate. That is That’s a really good drink. Oh, once everyone knows the rules, mate. I don’t drink a lot of energy drinks. That’s an That’s an 8.3. That is, boys. That’s an 8.3. Ki Polonia. Hey, once everyone knows the rules. Okay. Oh, my stomach feels bad now. I drank it too fast. Okay. We got water. We got everything we need. I’ve also got some of these. I’ve got two of these. So, I’ll eat like one, two, three, like four four bites every couple minutes. Nuts, honey, you know, there’s all kind of things in there. Two of those bars. We’ll load up on the the beaches. Let’s get back on the road, boys. We got a big road ahead of us. 220 km. Come on. We can do it, boys. Oh mate, today is the day of hills. It is hill after hill after hill. And bro, I am dominating. Oh my goodness, I’m dominating every single hill. This one I thought was going to kill me. It looks like it ends by there, but it goes so much steeper. And the downhills, I can’t even go fast downhill because the roads are so bad. And my bike frame is creaking like I feel like it’s about to snap. Bro, that nearly killed me. And my legs are on absolute fire. Hey, there are so many fruit trees down there. I really wanted to stop, but I wanted to complete that hill. That is by far Maybe you can see that truck going up the hill now. Bro, that was that was a challenge. I kept telling myself, “Bro, just give up. Just give up.” But I didn’t. And now I’m looking in the distance and it goes down again. And then it goes up. I don’t know how steep that one’s going to be. But uh Meliv is absolutely testing me right now. I want to stop and uh have some fruit. Well, there are some apple trees, those little apples, and they’re pretty delicious. So, I want to get some apples, get some water, and then keep going. We’ve got another 14 miles of this. I hope it’s not 14 miles of up and down. Uh cuz that’s going to put a spanner in the works to try and get to Odessa. But dude, I’m so grateful I’m on the it was it was the best decision to choose the road today cuz if I was going through farm fields today, I’d be dying. I know I’d be dying 100%. Here might be a good uh visual understanding. See how it goes down, goes back up, goes down, goes up. It’s been doing that for Dude, I must have done this now like 10, 15 times. Down. up, down, up, down, up. You can see it goes higher and higher and higher. So, that’s my challenge for today. And I tell you, it is both a mental challenge as well as a physical challenge. It’s killer, mate. My first proper bit of farming and it’s a 1050. My favorite tractor. God, it looks so good in the field, bro. What an absolute beast. What a beast, bro. M. That is an absolute machine. Yo, he said hello, mate. That is my favorite tractor ever, dude. I love that tractor. There’s a f there’s a museum, I think, in Germany. You can go to like the Fent Museum, I think. Not too sure. Or maybe like the the factory. I really want to go there, bro. That is such a cool tractor. It looks amazing, dude. Looks so good in that field, mate. Feel like [ __ ] now. I just want to play farming sim with the boys. Oh, mate. I just want to play farming sim with the boys. I did see a couple of like uh challengers and Bellaruses, but they’re not really that interesting. But the fent, bro. Fent, mate. Come on. If I had loads of money, I’m just going to buy myself a 1050 and then just drive around in a 1050 everywhere, mate. Just found the most amazing apple. Oh my goodness, that is amazing from this tree here. Oh mate, that is so sweet and so sour at the same time. Thank you, tree. Thank you, Michelav tree. There’s another beautiful one there. Oh mate, look at those. They’re huge. I can reach that one. Mate, that is a monster. Let’s do the taste test. Not as good as the last one, but still good. Thank you, Trey. Here’s an example of my downhill and why I can’t go too fast down. As you can see, it’s always like this. And it doesn’t matter. I can like try and skip to the other side of the road or whatever. There’s going to be a problem anywhere I go. So, going down the hills is slow. Going up the hills is slower. And look, we got another beast of a hill down there. Satnav says 9.7 miles still. So, I think we got 9.7 miles of up and downhill, boys. Up and downhill, boys. These idiots. And here, look, this was that section when we were just there just a second ago. 50 meters up there. This bit looked like gravel, but actually look how deep it is. So, if I was coming too fast there, bro, that would have been a nightmare. Would have been a nightmare. Okay, I don’t know what hill we’re on now, but it’s beating me. It’s really steep, really long. So, now we’re walking and dudes, it’s like the end is never ending. Never ending. Never ending end. It’s hard to walk up even. So, this is my first hill that’s beat me today. I’m actually really proud of myself. Even though uh I’m walking right now, dude, we smashed those first couple of hills. Dude, I reckon I’ve done about 20 hills up to this point and we smashed them all. But this one, this one’s kicked my ass. Well, like I said, you can’t win them all, but we keep moving. Walking is faster than standing still. Forward. Forward. Pyramo. Pyama. This is not easy. Even the walk is burning my legs. I’m glad I got these mountain biking shoes. Looks like I’m walking them as well. So, it’s my first time going onto the main road now on the dual carriageway. Wish me luck. It’s really loud. Here goes. May I’m having a real bad time. I’m on the main road. I’m going uphill. This uphill finger is going forever and I can’t stop because of the trucks. But the trucks are giving me enough space. They pass me with enough space. Oh, I want this to end. Bro, I’m burning up. I’m sweating into my eyes. This is so hard. I think this might be the hardest hill I’ve ever done and I can’t even stop. Oh, mate. I just want to be in Odessa now. I don’t want to be cycling anymore, mate. The sweat is absolutely pouring off me. I’m too scared to let go of my handlebars. I’ve driven this road before and I know this is not the only uphill that takes forever to get up. So, I’m not in for a good time. I already know I’m not in for a good time, mate. The truck drivers are so good. They’re giving me so much space. Most of them are giving me a whole lane. Jaku truck drivers. Jaku. The drivers are being really good for me. They give me loads of space, but that was scary. I didn’t like that at all. Okay, I’ve got a whole lane to myself now. The emergency lane. Done the second hill. And the third one’s right there, bro. I’m sweating into my glasses. Fresh my eyes, mate. Oh, the third one’s immediately flipping up. Okay, that’s the third hill done, bro. It was one after the other after the other, mate. I am absolutely dripping sweat. It’s going in my eyes, mate. Look at that. That is what it’s all about, boys. I mean, even though I can’t see it, mate. Those hills killed me. Those hills absolutely killed me, bro. Today has been nothing but hills. Nothing but hills. I guess this is the training that I said that I was going to do while I’m on the road, which I didn’t do before I left. But bro, oh my goodness, my back is in pieces. My legs are hurting. Oh mate, there is sweat all over my face. Oh, what did I sign up for, boys? I wish I never started this. I really wish I never started this. What the hell am I doing? Found an apple tree with a view. I know the camera is not going to do any justice, but that is a beautiful sunset. Hey, this is the best apple tree I found in Ukraine. These are Golden Delicious. And all along this road, there are apple trees everywhere. But that’s a mini Golden Delicious. Okay, I found where I’m going to be sleeping tonight underneath this tree. The main road’s right there. But bro, I had to stop riding just cuz it’s so dark now. I don’t want to be on that road. And I’ve just noticed I’ve been riding with no flipping light on. Oh my goodness. Okay, thank goodness that one was on. But uh this is going to be my home. I am so tired. But I have learned from last time I’m going to get myself dry uh cleaned and dry. So I’m going to clean the sweat off my body. I’m going to dry myself up and I’m going to get my bed ready. So this is how we’re going to do it. Got my dry and clean clothes ready there. I’ve got a towel to dry my body and I’ve got wet wipes. So, I’m going to start with the top of my body. Clean up all up here, all my arms and stuff. Put my new clothes on, then the bottoms, and then my feet. Okay, I’m all washed up. I feel amazingly better compared to last time. Last time I went to bed sweaty, and it ruined my whole night’s sleep. So, now I’ve got some tuna in this can, got my pillow, and then I’m going to sleep on the floor under this tree tonight. I get to the end of the night like this, man. I cannot even think straight. I I had my socks out, right? My my clean socks to put on and I’m looking around for my socks. I’m like, I don’t know where I don’t know where my my socks are. Like, I don’t know where I put them. So, I got a new I got a new pair. That’s a new pair. But, uh I think everything’s going to be okay. It’s peaceful here. There’s no dogs barking. There’s insects. There’s the motorway, which is like nearby, but otherwise, it’s peaceful. Okay, so tonight we are going to have a little feast. We got some cheese biscuits, tuna, biscuits, prote. And that is all that we’re going to have tonight. To be honest, I just can’t wait to lie down and go to sleep. 12 hours been outside today, but it’s uh 9:30. Started cycling at 9 this morning. Pretty long day. Oh, we haven’t checked our straa. Yo, we beat our p we beat our personal record. 127.57 km today. Let’s go. Thank you for watching. Don’t forget to subscribe. Subscribe right now. No, seriously guys, thank you so much for watching. Uh yeah, and also don’t forget don’t don’t forget to subscribe. Does that look cool? Bar. So guys, good night from me. Thanks so much for watching. Uh peace and love to every single one of you. This sucks. Welcome back to the channel everybody. I am Robbie and I am in the middle of a field next to the busiest motorway in Ukraine. This is where I slept last night. Bro, camping sucks. This sucks. If you do this for fun, then you’re weird, dude. Seriously, this sucks. Like, I like camping. You know, when I’d go camping with my friends and we’d have a fire, we’d have some beers. You know, that’s fun, but this whatever this is, bike packing, bike, bicycle, cycling, packing, this is not fun, dude. And I mean, maybe if I was with my friends, yeah, like it would be a different story. like just in a cold field. Dude, it is freezing cold today. I know it’s going to be warm, but dude, it is so cold. Freezing cold. I’ve got no trousers. I got the wrong sleeping bag for sure. Today, we’re going to have the uh granola mix. Says mix some water with it. Cold water. So, we got it wrong. This is the cold water and then the noodles is the hot water. So, we’ll have some granola mix. And you just got to leave it until until you’re happy with it. So, this was my house last night. I’ll show you. I’m not impressed, bro. I hate this. Like, whatever this is, I hate it. Camping like this. Nah. And this thing, this like bag, this like Billy, this uh what is it called? Bivvie bag that I got to sleep in. So, I’ve got this bag. I put my sleeping bag inside the bivvie bag. And then I got a mattress and a pillow. That’s not even waterproof, bro. Supposed to be waterproof. I woke up wet. I mean, it could have been sweat maybe, but I still woke up wet. But come on, look at that. I mean, I really can’t stay like mad because I get to wake up to that. Just so beautiful. Last night, the sun going down was gorgeous. It went down over here behind us, of course. Uh, the moon was coming up and it was like red, like this pinky red. Good morning. Good bloody morning from Ukraine. It is freezing cold this morning. Freezing cold. So, sun, please toast us up a little bit. Um, we got about 105 kilometers to get to Adessa today. So, we’re going to do that in one go. I done 127 last night, boys. my new personal best. And I reckon I genuinely reckon, and I’m not just saying this, but I think if it wasn’t for all those killer hills yesterday in Mikolive and also here in Odessa, I mean, I’m saying if it was like all flat road, I would have smashed 220 km easy. But we didn’t have that. We had hills, we had all kinds of crazy um things to deal with. So, it is what it is. And I mean, it’s okay. But seriously, I’m I’m so done with this camping, bro. I’m done with it. I I I don’t want to do camping. Like, if in emergency I have to do camping, then okay, I’ll do it. But I don’t want to do camping every night. I really don’t. I really don’t. My legs are in a lot of pain. My knees in a lot of pain. My back’s in a lot of pain. The last thing I want to do is sleep in a flipping bag that I can’t even turn around in, you know? And I like to sleep like in all weird like different like angles and directions and stuff. And like I like really like to stretch my body out when I’m sleeping, you know? And in this I can’t even turn over onto my side. Even like a cheap rubbish hotel is better than this. I mean, of course it is. I’m not going to keep doing this trip like camping. Like I mean my my goal wasn’t to backpack or whatever you call it, bike pack. My goal was to cycle. And I want to cycle and sleep in a hotel. Like I really want it. And yeah, sure. I’m going to run out of money. Okay. If I do, then well, then that’s the end of the trip and I can’t make it all the way. What am I supposed to do? Just like keep camping just to keep this like dream alive? I don’t know. I don’t know if I can do it. I really don’t know if I can do it. Anyway, we’re going to have some brekie. Some brekie bre. Let’s see what we got for breakfast today. Oh, me. It is so cold this morning, bro. We must be getting to winter, man. Cuz dude, it is freezing cold. I have to use my towels to try and keep my legs warm. I’ve only got shorts. I didn’t pack any trousers or anything. We’ll do a little taste test. One by everyone knows the rules. Very sugary. So much sugar. It’s so sweet, but it’s breakfast and it’s really nice. 7 out of 10. 7.1 out of 10, mate. Just as I said all like those silly things about camping and stuff, I’m checking my messages and like my comments and stuff and like everyone’s like they believe in me. It’s like I got to do it. I got to do it, bro. I don’t want to do camping. Maybe I should uh I was thinking last night I got like a buy me a coffee link in my in my bio. I was thinking, do I change it to buy me a borch? Like uh in Ukraine, for those who don’t know, in Ukraine they got like this meal called borch borch. And it is so good. I was thinking like buy me a borch, but now I’m thinking I’m going to change to buy me a hotel. Oh man, thank you for all the comments. Like guys, seriously, on Tik Tok, Instagram, and YouTube. I’m not going to reply to them now cuz I really just want to like kind of kick my ass and get moving. But I’m going to reply to them when I get to Odessa. I’m going to get into a hotel. I’m going to chill out. I got to I got to do a lot. And I’m like a prod productive procrastinator. Is that is that the right word? Oh, dude. I’m so like bad. I don’t know why. I never used to be like this. But at the moment, I’m like I’ll pick something up and I’ll be like, “Right, okay. So, I’ll do that and I’ll do that and then I’ll do that and then I’m like, “Dude, what are you doing? You’re not doing anything. Like, come on.” Uh, but I just want to say thank you so much for all your comments. Seriously, Tik Tok, Instagram, and YouTube, you guys are absolutely amazing. And my brothers as well. My brothers are my my biggest supporters. So, big up you guys, all of you. Okay, time to do something. I got to move. I’ve also got to get my butt out in this field again. Last night, it was so strange. Get I got completely naked, cleaned myself and then put my clothes on. Like it’s just weird having your butt out in a field. Okay guys, until the road. Okay, so we are back on the bike. We’re going to get back on the main road now. And then behind there is a huge hill. I believe we have two more. So that’s the first of two massive hills for us today. Just left my home, which was that bush back there somewhere. You can see it. It took me like an hour to get ready this morning. Uh well, it’s just nice not to get shot at when you’re in a field, isn’t it? So, I took my time and now it’s our final push. We got 105 km to Odessa. Um so, let’s go get it. So, it is day I don’t even know what day it is anymore. And I’m trying to get up here. Bro, even the trucks are going slow up the hill. Like, the trucks like barely overtaking me up this hill. But apparently I’m actually in Odessa Roblast. I was having breakfast this morning with some truckers at a truck stop and they told me I’m in Odessa Roblass. So we made it to Odessa Roblast. I’ve got about 70 km now until I’m in the city of Odessa. And I think the first thing I’m doing is getting straight into the sea, bro. But this is what I have to deal with for today. This absolute monster of a hill, mate. It is absolutely killing me. Oh, mate. Well, like my brother said, I signed up for this. So, what can I do? Keep complaining or just carry on. So, this is probably going to kill me, but uh this is what we have to do today. I am finally in Odessa. There’s Odessa over there. Mate, that was a hard hard ride. If I thought the 127 km ride was hard, this 100k ride today was like, hold my beer, bro. Like, oh my goodness. I I couldn’t film much, bro. I couldn’t even think. All I was thinking was like just try and get it done. Just get it done. Get it done. That’s what I was thinking. Knee is in absolute pieces. But we have made it. We have finally made it. I haven’t seen a cool Odessa sign or anything. I didn’t even know I was in the Oblast, but we are here. Okay, so I am going to complete my journey. I’m going to get checked into a hotel as soon as possible. And then I am getting my ass in that water. Mate, nothing but problem. Since I come to this city, I don’t know what it is, bro. I’m just getting like problems. I come into this city, bro, I am dying. Like, I’m not going to keep complaining to you cuz all I do is complain, right? And I do apologize for that. But, dude, I feel so sick today. I done 100 km today. Yesterday, I did 127. Bro, I like I feel like I just want to die. So, I booked this hotel, right? They give me the address and I’m I’m Dude, I literally cannot move at this point, right? I can’t move. I feel like I want to just like my stomach is like messed up, bro. Oh my god. Okay, I I I I cannot wait to show you what I’m looking at. I’ve spoiled myself a little bit cuz I’ve just been so annoyed. Oh my god, mate. Okay, let me get let me get to the point. Let me get to the point. Um, so I booked this hotel and I on the the directions on um Booking.com. I copy and paste them to Google and I go to the directions. They send me an email being like, “Oh yeah, this is the address.” And it’s like in some village like way outside of Odessa. So like dude, I had just cycled like like my breaking point was like 50 km ago, right? Like I couldn’t go any further 50 km ago and I had to go another 50 km to get here. Like there’s no other option. Anyway, I booked this place. Oh my god. Look at that. Look at that, bro. Oh my goodness. And then look at this view, bro. Okay, I have like splashed out a little bit. I did spend quite a bit of money on this. Uh, wait, I’m I’m going to tease you. So, I’m going to show you the bathroom first. Look at Look at all this fancy stuff here. So, this is my bathroom. What’s that? This is my bathroom. Don’t know what that is, but it is nice. It’s very nice. And I cannot wait to get in that shower. Nice mirror. And then this is my room. It’s like a little apartment hotel. Oh, mate. I won’t get into the bed now, but bro, look at this for a view. And I just saw two dolphins. I’m not even joking. They jumped out the water. Mate, are you kidding me, bro? So, I did splash out a little bit. This room for one night is like $80, which is like way out of my budget. I know, but dude, I just like I could not go anymore. So, I was just like, “Right, screw it. I’m just getting the closest apartment or hotel I can get.” And it was this one. Are you kidding me, bro? That’s my view. Like, I get to wake up to that tomorrow morning. M. And I saw dolphins. I’m not even joking. They were definitely dolphins. 100%, bro. Okay, whatever. But we probably going to see them now. But um Okay, dudes. Um they might not have been dolphins. Maybe I’m hallucinating. But um dudes, thank you so much for following me this far into the journey. I hope you like, comment, subscribe, all of those wonderful things to keep me going. Uh, as always, thank you for all the comments. You know, as I’m cycling and dying and literally want to like stop, uh, I just think about your comments and it keeps me going. So, from me, from Odessa, bro, hang on, let me tell you one more thing before I go. Dude, the guy who let me into this hooked up really nice guy. Really great, really great guy. But my Russian dude is right. My Russian is he’s being really nice. He is being really nice, but he is so slow. He walks around like he’s just so slow and he’s talking to me in Russian like saying all he’s saying and I’m like dude mate. And also I don’t get Odessa. Why is Odessa so expensive bro? Like it is so expensive right? And like the quality of what you get, like you can just go to Greece, spend half the money, and get like way better stuff. Like I’m I’m not saying that this is bad. This is gorgeous. But like some of like the really expensive places here in Odessa, dude, they are so expensive. You can go to Greece for literally half the price. You get way better food, way better like everything. Way better everything. Like have they like boosted up the prices just cuz it’s like people can’t leave? Same in like book. the amount of the amount it cost to go to book of our snowboarding in the winter. It’s cheaper to go to the Alps, which is way better. Like, I literally don’t understand Ukraine at all. Like, okay, this is gorgeous and I haven’t been in the water yet, but dude, I don’t get it. Like, I don’t I don’t get Odessa. It’s not that great. Maybe I’m tired and miserable and I haven’t actually gone to and visited a desert. Like, but anyway, whatever. Peace and love like always. Thank you so much for watching my video today. Um I am absolutely gutted. I have lost so much uh video. I think earlier in the video where you saw I was sleeping for the night and then I woke up and I continued on the last 100 km to Odessa. I reckon that’s where I made my mistake because that morning I transferred my files from the SD card to the computer and I think that’s where I messed up. Um, but unfortunately I can’t get those back, which is so annoying because I really really tried to get like B-roll to get interesting shots. Dude, I went through some really amazing places. I met some incredible people. I’m just so sad that I’ve lost that footage. Um, I have actually been in Odessa now for about 3 days and I’ve come to the end of the video where I’m saying like I don’t get Odessa. When I came to Adessa, I didn’t get it. But, bro, I went into the city yesterday. Oh my goodness, I’m starting to get it. I’m starting to understand it. What a absolutely stunning city. Um, I am going to get out there and make some videos. Uh, the last couple of days I’ve just been trying to like calm down, get back down to earth. Um, I’m feeling very sick. Like, I got a real bad stomach. Um, I have been to the beach. The beach was gorgeous as well. Um, but yeah, I’m starting to understand Odessa. Um, and I’m I’m speaking to people who have been here and they’re telling me places to go and and experience. Apparently, there’s a nightclub called Aitha. Um, I I would like to go. I don’t really want to go to a nightclub by myself. Um, but apparently that’s like the place to go. But yeah, dude, the city center, like the actual city center is stunning, mate. It is stunning. Um, the people like the locals are crazy. The locals are so crazy. It’s like a It’s like a tourist place. There’s lots of people here from all over Ukraine and they’re coming here. Um, and even even from Europe, they’re coming here. So, it’s like a it’s like a tourist vibe area. I definitely take back all the bad things that I said about Odessa when I was tired and hungry and angry and all of those things. Uh, it has been like a bit of a tricky like I think I’ve been here for like 3 days now. It has been quite hard. I’ve just been trying to like just get back down to earth, rehydrate my body. Um I still I still really can’t think straight. I can’t think very straight. Um but today I was just like, “Right, just complete the video, edit the video, make one for Instagram, and just go and enjoy your time in Odessa,” which I want to do for my last couple of days here. I do really wish that I could spend a bit longer, but if I spend any longer, then I think I’m already like kind of at the end of my trip, unfortunately. Um, I thought I was going to do a lot better than I did. Um, but finances, things like this, it’s just it might be the end of my trip. I’m going to try and push as much as I can, but um, I’ve done the best that I could. It was very optimistic to think that I could make it to uh the United Kingdom. Back when I was in Kev and I was planning all this out in my head, I thought, “Yeah, I could smash this.” But yeah, it’s it’s just the way it goes. That’s the way the cookie crumbles, right? Um but guys, thank you so much for all of your comments. Uh once the video goes up, I’m going to reply to all of you. Um, and then I’m going to go and enjoy the city and I’m going to go and explore and have a look around and really go and try and understand Odessa because I think this is actually a really amazing place. You know, the Ukrainians say that they love this city. Uh, and I Yeah, like I said, I’m starting to understand Yosumi. Yosumi. So, guys, thank you once again. Thank you so much uh for all of your comments. Thank you for subscribing. Um, I hope this is not the end of my journey. I really do hope this is not the end of my journey. I want to like really try and get to the UK. Um, but for now I’m not sure. I’m not sure. But like we say at work, you really never know what’s going to happen. Like today, tomorrow, the next day, a miracle could h a miracle could happen. Something interesting can happen. Um, I might become lucky or maybe not. So, we’ll have to wait and see. Um, so guys, thank you so much. Please comment, like, and subscribe. Try and help me at least to uh make some money from YouTube or something. Um, uh, like always, peace and love to every single one of you. Thank you. I can calm down now. And now I’m now I’m really going to try and relax. Before I wasn’t relaxing so much cuz I was thinking like, I’ll edit the video and like, you know, try and become better. like my legs are okay, but like they’re still sore, you know? And um but now I can really focus on like getting better.

  1. Is there any reason you are doing so much km in one day everyday? I found the sweetspot is around 70-90km per day on my trips, although my setup is a bit heavier 😀

  2. I really hope you manage to find it in you to carry on. Your doing so well. You smashed 2 days. Keep it up, your doing amazing mate. Tour de France next year 👊

  3. Consider getting a better sleeping bag that holds up to freezing night temperatures?
I’ll easily buy you a borscht. Easily!
But I guess you forgot to leave some links to buy me a coffee and strava

  4. The pricing is based purely on people that don’t speak any language and can’t leave the country. It’s a big country and it has plenty of rich people of that type.
