The Uber’s arriving and this is where our trip to Europe officially begins. Goodbyes had to be said and yes, maybe a few tears were shed. The ride to the airport super smooth. 30 minutes drive to the airport, 20 minutes to check in our bags and go through to security and then 10-minute walk to the gate. And now we have tons of time to kill. 2 hours to be exact. And by the way, the Delta trick we mentioned in the last episode worked flawlessly. At the gate now, ready to board. We were hoping for window seats, but we will keep ourselves entertained. Some nine hours later, we’re in Amsterdam and our first train is pulling in. We missed one connection and ended up taking a total of seven trains. So, yeah, a lot of waiting for trains, but it wasn’t all bad. The scenery was beautiful, and there was a lot of that, too. After train number four, we were starving. So, we grabbed one of our absolute favorites in Germany, a journa kebab. And finally, 17 hours after the trip began, we made it to our apartment in Noise, which is near Dudeldorf and K. We love it. And our hosts arena and are just awesome.
