[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hey everybody it’s Eden welcome to a short travel Vlog in carcassone a medieval city located in the south of France that apparently has direct flights from Dublin James and I spent 48 hours in the city some would say it’s more than enough time to explore but for us we’d gladly spend two more weeks there inside a city you’ll find cobblestone streets winding through medieval walls topped with turrets and surrounded by lash Vineyards there are many restaurants with local Cuisine and cozy cafes making it feel like walking into a fairy tale book tickets in advance we didn’t so the only available tour was in French oh I wish I knew how to speak French we opted for a self-guided tour which I prefer but James prefers a guided tour so it’s totally up to you there are many restaurants but keep in mind they close at 2:00 p.m. and reopen at 700 p.m. booking in advance is a must walking in as we did might mean a long wait if at all [Music] [Music] he [Music] PM view is the bridge to the medieval city and it offers a great view especially at [Music] Sunset it sits right above a huge Park perfect for a small picnic or join some wine while soaking in the beautiful views we stayed in apartment Leela and I highly recommend it you have everything that you might need in the apartment and it was very clean and quiet and Leela was super nice it’s located next to lots of cafes boutiques and more the following day we explored the city there’s an art museum that unfortunately we didn’t have time to visit inside [Music] we went to the park and enjoyed some wine the park is absolutely amazing we took some photos James clearly knows what he’s doing [Music] we had dinner at CA Maria which is a tapis restaurant with a really nice Vibe if it’s busy and you didn’t book in advance expect a wait we’ve waited for I think an hour just to get our drinks but it was totally worth it the following morning we enjoyed the French pastries one last time before heading back to Dublin wrapping up such a fun getaway thank you so much for watching and I hope you enjoy this video [Music]

I so hope to get to Paris in the fall. My step family lives there so I can stay with them. But I would love to get to the south. Honestly I looked into moving there but it seems quite complicated. I love how historical it is here like going back in time. The park does look amazing wow. The tapas cafe looks SO good. And it looks even better at night fall. What a wonderful getaway! π₯°ππ
