For over two hours and 40 minutes, this video features nothing but the image and sound of waves. The main focus of this video is the sound of waves. I recommend watching this video while doing other activities, such as studying, cleaning, cooking, eating, reading, spending time with family, or chatting with friends. It is sufficient to glance at the images sometimes. Of course, you can also look at the images closely. We hope that the image and sound of waves crashing on the beach soothes you. I also hope that listening to the sound of the waves will help you feel a little cooler on a heatwave day. But at the same time, don’t forget to take cold showers and drink cold drinks. You can also reduce the heat by wrapping a wet towel around your neck or wearing a wet T-shirt. However, be careful, as a wet T-shirt has a very strong cooling effect on the body, so you may end up catching a cold if you get too cold.
The filming location starts from Ouistreham in Normandy, France, and continues 5km west to Lion-sur-Mer. I walk along the shore of the long, shallow sandy beach, showing a video of the waves. The town of Ouistreham gives the long stretch of coastline to the west its name, “Riva-Bella” in Italian. The name, which means “beautiful coast” in Italian, was officially given to this beach in 1881 because the sunsets seen on this beach are as beautiful as those in Italy. This video captures the sandy beach in the morning sun, but it is still a beautiful coastline. I wanted to make it enjoyable not only through sound but also through the video image.
The beach I will introduce this time is also famous as “Sword Beach,” the code name for the Normandy landings that took place on 6 June 1944. It was also the site where approximately 29,000 soldiers from the British 3rd Infantry Division landed. Although Sword Beach is not mentioned in this video, I have listed some related videos from other channels below, so please take a look at those as well.

Good morning. This is the “Let’s go out together!” channel. This video mostly just shows the waves. The main feature of the video is the sound of waves. Listen to the waves while doing other things, such as cooking, reading, studying, eating, or chatting with friends. It’s enough to glance at this video screen sometimes. Please watch this video especially on hot summer days, such as during a heatwave, or when you are feeling frustrated, angry, sad, or stressed. Next, let’s talk about the location. The location shown here is Ouistreham on the English Channel in Normandy, France. From here, we head west and walk 5 km (3.1 mi) via Colleville-Montgomery and Hermanville-sur-Mer to Lion-sur-Mer, dipping our feet in the seawater. Finally, the video cuts out twice, for example to change the battery, but otherwise the image is continuous. So please enjoy this video! Thank you for watching and listening.
