How is the descent, Harry? Uh, yeah. Probably the funnest descent I’ve done. Yeah. On a fully loaded bike, it’s pretty fun. I think it’s the fastest I’ve went. Here we go. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Yeoo. You can cut that out. [Music] On our way. San Sebastian. Grand Sebastian. Oh, nice switch back coming up. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat up here. [Music] I still need to practice my descending. Not perfecting it. [Music] [Music] Heat [Music] up here. [Music] Heat up Heat. Heat. What the [Â __Â ] [Â __Â ] bullets. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] I should have risk. What’s that? I should have take this risk. Nah, it’s fun. He is something inside. Oh, I see this guy. Something goes crazy. Yeah. You’re like, “Fuck him. He’s on a gravel bike.” Gravel bike. It’s always fun, you know. That was good. when you see somebody likewise. No, that was good. Do you do this? Do you do this often? This climb. First day here in two years. Oh, awesome, man. This is our first time, too. Our first time ever. First time, actually. Going through the winter and I’m very impressed how it’s in the summer. You got it in a very good way. Yeah. Everyone said that we hit the perfect time. Where you came from? You’re Australian, huh? Scotland. Yeah. But we on a tour from Amsterdam to Lisbon. Believe I’m Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you, man. Enjoy the rest of your I was a bit shy sparking a conversation. Nice. It’s nice to talk. Yeah. All right. Cheers. See you, bro. How is the descent, Harry? Uh, yeah, probably the funnest descent I’ve done. And uh, yeah, on a fully loaded bike, it’s pretty fun. I think it’s the fastest I’ve went with the tail fin. Yeah, it’s obviously we don’t show the drive side cuz it’s too cool to not. Uh this is the newest uh Genesis quadifair titanium uh carbon fork. Uh I’m running a mullet set up on it. 1×12, some carbon force cranks, carbon fram, silent hub, Chris King blind galore, matching mango, and then the black bottom bracket. Talking about the load, let’s talk about the bag, dude. So what you just descended on? What you have on your fully loaded? I’ve got the Tail fin small drop bar handlebar bag. It was so solid. Did not move an inch on that descent. Super nice. Um and yeah, just got my wind vest strapped to the front there. Who makes that wind vest? Wind vest by MAP. Super nice for uh obviously not today, but if it was later in the evening, putting that on for the descent would be really nice. And then you had your phone on here. What is that? Yeah. So, um, got these Red Shift, um, clip-on TT bars with the the bend at the top. How’s your phone sitting there like that? That’s just on a quad lock. I’ve just got some tape under there. Emergency tape. Nice, man. Yeah. So, super nice thing about the tail fin, it’s got this accessory mount here. So, my Garmin is actually attached to the the mount that the tail fin mounts onto as well. So, it sits super snug in there. Uh, we speaker to link to the the chat tunes. Uh, Stram rival levers that link to my GX Axis derailer. Got this little 7R seven roads top tube bolt-on magnetic waterproof. Uh, that’s from Ukraine. Kyle hooked us up with an outer shell stem bag. H I keep my hip flask and a point and shoot in there and then little bits and bobs and tools. This is an Ortle 4 L waterproof top tube uh frame bag. Uh bottles everywhere. Um I’m carrying about just over 2 L at any time, which is super nice. And the insulated one when it gets super hot. The main event at the back. This is the aluminum party in the back. Yeah. tail fin. Good thing about the aluminium comes with a bolt-ons as well. These just hook on super tight and do not move when you can get them on. And then the brand new cargo a packet top, mesh pockets, strap at the top to hold the sandals down, accessories at the back that sweeps down. So, I’ve got my kryptonite rear light there and my little blue lug reflector. This is super sick. Same on the other side. So, the 5 L paneer bags on either side. And yeah, and there’s my tent, my sleeping mat, my pillow, my towel, my wash bag, charging stuff, plate in the side, sun cream, snacks, straps. Yeah, stuff. Anything. sausage. Just stuff it in and go. And uh saddle. This is uh the Aragon SRL road comp saddle. Titanium rails. Neato from Japan. Seat posts. Talk about this incredible stem. Red shift suspension. takes away all the bumps. 10 to 52 huge pizza dish at the back. 38 tooth on the front by Garbaruk. That’s kind of a rough rough going over the bike. Maybe there’ll be an a more detail one soon. But yeah, super fun descent. I think the fastest I’ve went on an old all packed bike and perfect weather for it. So now to Scrant Sebastian full of food, wine, whatever else and relax for a couple of days before we hit the bass country properly.

What a killer view on the way down. Nice work Harry/Terry. Gorgeous video, really enjoyed the entire EPO tour, when/where’s the next one? !
Harry has a nice bike setup
on my bucket list
Tom Pidcock will be impressed !!
Uncle, thanks
Reminds me of my recent descent from Meshomasic State Park down to Ferry Road in Glastonbury CT. After some epic gravel slaloming the long, winding descent down to the Connecticut River through nearly empty back roads was so peaceful and exciting, regularly topping 35mph even though the road didn't want to end.
