What North Shore Bike Paths would you add?
We saw so many while driving around and exploring! There’s one in Salisbury that looked awesome – but we didn’t get to ride it.
Things to know before you go:
📍Amesbury Riverwalk (also called the Powow Riverwalk in Maps)
🅿️ we parked at the back of 100 Macy Street, the entrance to the Riverwalk is right there
🍴if you park at 100 Macy Street there are a bunch of restaurants right there. Ride, walk, and then eat!
📍Clipper City Rail Trail & Newburyport Haborwalk
🅿️ park in the public parking lot next to Market Landing Park
🍦once you’ve finished your ride (or walk) Dolce Freddo Gelato is just a short walk away
🎨 look for the art and sculptures along the trail
⚠️ note: you must push your bike on the boardwalk section – no riding. We chose to start where it is paved.
📍Border-to-Boston (also part of the Clipper City Rail Trail)
🅿️ park at Cashman Park (202 Merrimac Street, Newburyport)
🛝 Cashman Park has an awesome playground and
🚻 public restrooms are available
🎨 look for the art and sculptures along the trail
