  1. In America, the problem makes alot more sense. Then again, maybe i see things through a lens. But in America, Urban Sprawl means most people cant afford to live close enough to their job to cycle.

  2. I didn't hear any excuses … just statements. Allow me to assist:

    My handlebars are wobbly.

    I saw a weather report for potential hail.

    There's a strange noise coming from the gears.

    I can't find my water bottle.

    My cycling shorts are still in the laundry.

    I heard there's road construction on my route.

    I might have a meeting later and don't want to be sweaty.

    The pollen count is high today, and I have allergies.

    My front light is out of batteries.

    I have a video call first thing in the morning.

    The cat hid one of my cycling gloves.

    I need to make an important phone call during my commute.

    I'm breaking in new shoes and can't wear them biking.

    My cycling app isn't syncing with my phone.

    I'm testing a new breakfast routine.

    I'm expecting an important delivery I can't miss.

    My favorite podcast released a new episode I want to listen to.

  3. I do cycle to work. To make me more comfortable, i drop my stuff like my cloths in my workplace. So i still cycling with my cycling cloths and take a shower after reach my workplace

  4. I want to cycle to work but its 19 miles away followed by a 12 hour shift then 19 miles back. And no shower or washing facilities. And i work in cold enviroment so wet with sweat nah.

  5. I work as a mechanic at a car dealership and ride my bike to work everyday, year round. In the warmer months a few of the other mechanics who live close will also bike to work. Sometimes half of the shop shows up without a car

  6. as much as I would enjoy cycling to work, it's along a 6 mile stroad, and as soon as I get out of work I would have to walk home due to my bike having been stolen, along with the post I locked it to

  7. Between home and work it's less than 15 minutes on a bike. Twenty minutes plus in the car during rush hour. By bus it's over an hour with a bus change. I never bus, sometimes drive and cycle to work as much as possible.
