I get it, 650×2.1 isn't really a popular size for gravel oriented tires anymore. They had their hay day for what, like 3 years? But I've fallen in love with the maxxis pace and it looks like they aren't made anymore in my size. Been running the pace for about 7 years now. I'm having a hell of a time finding anything in a file tread/tightly spaced small knob tire.
I'm only really interested in 2.0/2.1 as I sometimes run fenders and anything over 2.1 doesn't give me the clearance I want. This bike sees about 60% unpaved miles, and the rest is pavement so I want something that'll roll fast for the paved segments. Needs to be tubeless, and price isn't an issue. I'm hesitant to go to something with a totally smooth center patch as I will routinely go off route if I see some fun singletrack or washed out dirt road along my journey.
