I have been on a euro tour from Amsterdam via the EuroVelo 15. Due to various factors a past knee injury has reemerged with force. I can’t cycle without serious pain but I have three more weeks of vacation and want to keep traveling by foot and train. Does anyone have recommendations on how to ship my bicycle back to the states via mail carrier? I have been emailing local bike shops (currently near Riedstadt) today in hopes I can get confirmation they can sell a cardboard shipping box before I ride over there (trying to minimize damage and pain). Any recommendations on cycle shops, shipping services, ect? If I can just get it in a box I’m confident I can figure out shipping through DHL. TIA.
