A short video showing the beauty of La Cubilla climb. Used for the first time in the Vuelta a España in 2019, La Cubilla is one of the most enjoyable climbs to cycle in the whole of Spain.
Although it includes over 1000m of elevation gain, the gentle gradients, stunning scenery and very quiet roads make time fly by, as you ride up a climb known locally as the ‘Asturian Galibier’.

This really is one of our favourite climbs in a region which includes other greats such as Gamoniteiro, Angliru, La Farrapona and Lagos de Covadonga.
