Live stream from Litlahraun cabin in Aðaldalshraun between Húsavík and Akureyri in north Iceland.
Views cycle every 30 seconds. North towards the Laxá, West towards the ocean.
The cabin is situated in a beautiful unspoilt ancient lava field, close to the Laxá River. A harsh and unforgiving landscape, home to Arctic Foxes, Ptarmigan and of course the Huldufólk.
One live camera, and two all-sky camera’s capture the Aurora Borealis or the Northern Lights as it’s often called along with star trails and timelapses.
The location, although remote offers spectacular views of the night sky. However as the summer approaches the nights are shorter and soon will be gone completely until September.
A weather station gives accurate weather information, and the live camera offers realtime views of the landscape.
