Had a frame crack two days ago so I went on eBay and build this one from the ground in two quick days. Frame is an old Schauff road frame from the R.C Adler KΓΆln Racing Club in Germany.
Shimano-Wheels were found at a local flee market. Had to cut almost 200 tire knobs to fit the tires. Swapped the bottom bracket to fit some cheap (fake?) cranks and made an adapter to run the 1 1/8” rental stem bar combo with the old 1” aero fork. The frame was intended for a 31.4mm seatpost and was reamed to fit the 31.6mm enve carbon seat post. Runs a neat unconventional chain tensioner. Hope you like it as much as I do. May it survive the trip!
