First ride! Test ride too, and it passe the test surprisingly flawlessly, all the bad things were on user error and not being used to riding a roadie.
My Orbea Carbon XC bike broke about 3 weeks ago, and I haven't been able to ride since, but I invested all that time into restoring this bike I got for free a few months back… It was a really different experience this is the second bike I've ridden since I was like… Pffft… 13 years or so old.
I'm happy with how it is, it has a slight buzz at speed, but it hasn't moved for 20 years, so I'm happy it performed as well as it has. I did 28 km, didn't stray too far didn't really trust it and averaged 20kmh because I've been easy on it and getting used to it's particular riding style and old roadie quirks. Overall, lovely and addictive, can't wait to rufe it more.
