Trek DS 8.3

So it’s listed as a Trek DS 8.3 Gary Fisher. Can’t find that online anywhere. Listed for $400 but I would offer less than that.

I’d use it for mainly city riding and the occasional light trail.

So what I’d like to know is if anyone knows the exact model / what it’s best suited for. Thanks in advance!
