In 2025, the Tour de France returns to Caen in Normandy for the first time in 19 years, since 2006. The last time the race took place in Caen before 2006 was in 1978, 47 years ago. The individual time trial is held on the fifth day of the race, Stage 5. The cyclists leave Caen, heading northwest, then back to Caen. The start and finish are both in the city of Caen, allowing us to follow the cyclists as they build up speed and make their final sprint. Be sure to watch the amazing races of the cyclists and the enthusiasm of the locals cheering them on from the side of the road.
