I’m considering buying a 2023 Giant TCR SL 1 with a 54 cm (M) frame. I’m 174 cm tall with an inseam of 78 cm. The bike comes with Shimano 105 R7000 groupset and an upgraded Ultegra crankset. The frame is aluminum (Giant ALUXX), and the wheels are Giant SR2 tubeless-compatible with new tires.
I’m a beginner rider, so I want to make sure this bike will fit me well and be comfortable for long rides.
My questions are:
For those who have used this bike or a similar model, is the 54 cm frame suitable for a 174 cm tall rider?
Have you experienced any issues with the bike, any parts wearing out quickly or any common problems?
