In this one i made a tour from Bavaria over Austria, to Swiss and then to Tübingen in Baden-Württemberg.
So my conclusion i definitely need better protection for my hands.
My upcoming plan is to travel around Europe with the Motorbike, while working remote as a Digital Nomad with a Motorbike. So i have to do some testing for longer rides gear, final things i have to adjust.
Still have to test where the best camera and microphone position is.
So, this is my bike. The bags fit pretty much and my Peak
Design backpack. Pretty nice. You can strap it on like this. Still a lot of space left here in the middle of Bavaria
on my way to Swiss or Tübingen and I will drive over Swiss. So going to be nice. I like all this small towns with a with a
church in the middle and the old buildings. I will show you some after this. But
first, let me eat my butter for breakfast. As you see, the weather was pretty
[ __ ] so I had to take care of his riding and getting warm for the day.
But here are some Bavarian towns. for you as a motor riders. You see those
curves would be nice at least when it’s dry. Heat. Heat. Just had a small break. Got a coffee
at this coffee place here. Nice view. Now I’m going to Austria and then to Swiss German.
And here we arrive at the border to Austria. Heat. Heat. N. So I am in Swiss now and the weather
is getting better and uh Yeah, the streets are getting more dry. So, but here
in Swiss you have to straight stay in the in the speed limit otherwise it will get very expensive. Oh, I love to drive here. It’s very
fun. Also, you got a lot of views here. A lot of mountains over there. Okay. And the sun starts to show itself. So I try to stay off the tall roads. Let’s hope I can do that. Have to take
care. Drive by navigation. Oh, you’re an appetail. There’s a cellar museum. Look at these beautiful houses. See all it once. The gasoline is even cheaper
here except the petrol. So, let’s talk about the bike. I’m driving it for
like 4,400 kilometers now in 2 and 1/2 weeks. I pretty much love it. Uh the motor really likes
a lot of refs to feel good. So above 4K and it starts to shine. It’s handable. So it’s not
even for the size it’s really really really I can ride like 400 500 kilometers easy
without my ass is hurting too much. Uh it has this kind of rubbery uh seat
which is like a little bit abrasive for um for the skin. But I will probably
change that later. I don’t know yet. in it if that helps. But for
now, I’m quite happy. I don’t have the quick shifter yet. This
morning, I really wanted to have um the heated grips. So when I will be back
in Germany and have some time, I will get the heated grips and the quick shifter and put it
into the bike and some other other modifications, but for now it’s fine. And it’s a good
test ride. Yesterday I visited my sister and my new colleagues cuz I got a new
job. I lost my old one cuz the old one was backup and the new one it’s pretty
much the same but or they do the same uh product and so I can just continue my
work for renewable energy and do something with cars. My new colleagues are really really
nice. So they allow me to travel also. So this digital nomad journey will continue and now I
will do it by bike or by motorbike and I will go across Europe. My plan is go to go to the UK
and travel the whole coast from the east coast to the north coast of uh Scotland and uh over to
Ireland and then the west coast of Ireland to back to France. Yeah. Then France, the whole
West Coast to Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and back up to Italy. Let’s see how far I
will get to with this journey this summer. It’s so cozy here. Like all the farm houses here
on the hills like stuck in in the old times, right? And you have all those nice curves here. Oh, look at the views. So beautiful. Oh, wow. There’s not much traffic here. I guess they using the toilets often and back to wet roads. So not much le anymore. still super scared that even though
the bike probably can handle it, but I don’t know if it’s wet, I’m
not doing much lean angle at all. All the towns here like even in Baria have the
this church which is always the highest building. There you see the church. There’s the first big mountains and I can practice all those nice curves going up. You have you don’t have that
in North Germany at all. On the way here, there were
a lot of them, but it was so uh the street was really wet, so I
really had to sneak around the corners. I think this is my space. Look at this. For a break and let’s drink something. I have to clean my visor here cuz it’s
like a little bit dull, I would say. Oh, that’s better. That’s way better. doing something and go on. Look at those beautiful houses. And you have those corners and they are just going around it really fast. They shoot their kids some cows was pretty happy. I love the small moments seeing
people happy, just enjoying their time. Since I got the motor bike and a lot
of them just cooling like doing this slow having this view here and being able to just travel. So grateful for do for be able to do that. Look at my duck. this. It’s like they’re not even a
town. It’s they have like a their own houses with a huge huge part of
the land. Then the neighbors come. Let’s see if we find a bench with a parking slot or at least something I can put my bike at.
Would be great if you had a view. Not like this. So, give yourself some space and then
watch and lean it way around the corner. So good. I could can practice
this here without a lot of traffic and we’re going up. tells me we did you see the road is getting
wetter here so I have to take care slipping and it’s again Okay. Care of the biker. Yeah, it’s nice. Oh, this view. I hope there is a time for a break here somewhere. spot. Wait. So, I’m here in Zalan in Switzerland and let’s see how this city looks. And you see in the far it looks like
rain. Good thing is I’m fully rain. Bad thing is the street’s going to
be wet and I have to slow down. Yeah. But anyway, it’s beautiful to drive
here. I think I will do that more often. Oh, I think the petrol is not even
cheaper here because it’s fun, right? It’s even more expensive
than the German, I guess. But I’m still over half full. So no edge. Get some gasoline yet. Come on. Hey. Hey. Heat. Heat. N. Heat. Heat. N. And it’s 60. will slow down
otherwise it will be expensive. The signs for the buses look looks
a little bit like the toss bank in Germany which is like just a finance in institute. Oh wow, look at this old buildings here. Hello. Smaller. Heat. Heat. Oh, look at this. It’s a nice road canyon. [ __ ] Some water coming out of the mountains over here. Shoot. Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey, hey. Let’s have a break here. Also, I need to pee. I need a little break after like 300
kilometers. My ass is feeling sore. So, I found this nice place. My bike is over
there. I don’t see it there. Something’s Heat. Heat. Looking around. Thank you. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Hey, hey, hey. Yep. Good morning, internet. Today
I’m at friend’s house in Tubingan and um I’m going to Hanufa today to visit another
friend and yesterday I was like uh byia my sister’s place and had a nice drive over Austria
over Swiss and great weather. I mean, today I’m going to better wear the rain jacket. Look at
this. My bike survived the night the ride in the night pretty well about there. So, see you later
in the ride. I’m going to have breakfast now. It’s fast. Wow, this town is like straight from the
medieval times. Look at all these old buildings like this ones on the left. Even the gas station looks old. Heat. Heat. Hello. No, Nick Zena. Thank you. I’m finally home now. Thank you for joining me
on that ride. And yeah, this test ride was really helpful because I figured out what I need to
change, what I need to uh buy for the motorcycle. I definitely need some heated grips. Uh all those
rain and uh wet uh wet fingers were like damn it. I need some bark busters. Uh because my fingers
froze also also. Maybe the higher windshield because I had my wind the wind always hitting me
on this one. Yeah. But uh otherwise I’m pretty happy with this bike. It really helps. Also,
um yeah, maybe I need uh another city seat for uh for more comfort for the long rides. Yeah,
it was a nice test ride and I feel pretty much comfortable to go with those little changes.
Have a nice one and see you in the next one.
