History has been made at the 2025 Tour de France Femmes! Olympic champion Pauline Ferrand-Prevot becomes the first French rider ever to win the prestigious race, dominating the final stage from Praz-sur-Arly to Châtel with a stunning late attack.

At 33, the Visma-Lease a Bike rider showed true grit through the Alps, overcoming steep climbs like Col de Joux Plane and Col du Corbier. Her powerful finish left last year’s winner Demi Vollering trailing by 20 seconds, securing Ferrand-Prevot the yellow jersey and a place in cycling history.

stand. [Music] [Music] [Music] Morning. [Music] [Applause] [Music] There [Applause] are going Hey, [Applause] go go go go go. [Music] [Applause] So easy. [Applause] Yeah, I’m so so happy. Uh it was uh the day didn’t start really really good because uh yeah I was a bit too far back in the first down. I think I was just a bit scared you know with the pressure of this jersey and um and yeah so the teammate had to ride and they did a massive effort to bring me back at the front. After that I say okay now I have to stick to the front and uh yeah to just try to stay there. And this morning as uh I said to the DS, yeah, I would like to win in in yellow. So if you can make it, yeah, why not? So I attack in the last climb and uh I could make it until the finish and um yeah, I’m so so happy. Thank you. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] on the ground.
