This video shows our holiday motorcycle trip from Rüdesheim am Rhein (Germany) to Lennestadt (Germany).
Lennestadt lies at the common point of the Ebbegebirge (in the west), Homert and Rothaargebirge (in the east) Nature Parks and is crossed by the river Lenne, a tributary to the Ruhr. Besides the Hundem, which empties into the Lenne in the outlying centre of Altenhundem, the Veischede also feeds this river.
Lennestadt scores with highlights such as the SauerlandRadring, access to the Rothaarsteig long-distance hiking trail and the Veischede Sonnenpfad quality trail. Located in the middle of the Sauerland Rothaargebirge Nature Park and with hundreds of kilometers of marked hiking and cycling trails, Lennestadt has a lot in store for recreation seekers and leisure sports enthusiasts.
