Nestled in the middle of the Italian peninsula, halfway between Rome and Florence, lies Umbria. It is a region steeped in history, art and culture, and awash in hilltop towns and ancient castles. Its cuisine and wines rival those of its neighbors, Tuscany and Lazio (though the Umbrians will contend that it’s even better). Its pastoral beauty has earned it the title “The Green Heart of Italy”.
I had a vacation there in February 2025. Most of it was spent cycling the region around Lippiano Castle with my good friend Jody.
I put this together using videos and photos I took. I also composed a tune for the memory and named it “Late is Alright”. This was recorded with the use of Mureka.
Hope you like it!
It may entice you to pay the area a visit. 🤗
Hey, hey, hey. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. We’re coming into Mont Turkey on the border of Tuskany and Umbrea. There’s the castle on the hill. Everything is old as the road. 1200,400. Here we are in Umbrea, Italy, cycling in the middle of nowhere on the roads that the Chiro Tatala would be on. Heat. Heat. That’s it. Another 10 days. Over and out.
