ground here are five things that you need to know about Canyon’s new Grizzle their adventure gravel bike the frame is bomber and covered with points to attach your gear to front rack rear rack top tube mount fender mounts and giant down tube storage here there’s also a custom frame bag option that attaches by the super neat magnetic fidlock system tire clearance is up to 54 mm it has Canyon’s own new carbon rims which are 30 mil deep and 27 mil wide internally the geometry of this bike is built to party it is longer taller and more confident than its predecessor but that short stem still keeps things agile and it will roll through anything basically as it’s getting older it’s becoming more rugged more gnarly but also more refined on wheel

Missed a trick by not showing the Lavender frame, it's a thing of beauty.
Just tried to ask some simple questions on their website & became so frustrated in the replies in German that I'm going for a UK brand ( Interestingly though it asked me if my questions had been answered in English lol )
every day these "adventure bikes" get closer and closer to just looking like a Salsa cutthroat.
They all looks the same
I've just bought a Canyon grizl cf slx grx di2. 2 x 12 drive train. Probably outgoing model as it was £1200 off.
I use it to cope with the ever deteriorating roads and exploring bridleways. Increasing tyre clearance beyond 50 mm achieves nothing. I can't see how the new bike is any better
They are copying GT in frame design.
If you buy a canyon every bike shop you need to help with you with maintenance will hate you. I have been a mechanic for 14 years now and they have ludicrous safety questioning and overly complicated designs. You will be charged more for your services and they will take dramatically longer avoid this company.
A mountain bike with drop bars.
1X only? Nah.
what about bottom bracket? still press fit?
still has a pressfit bottom bracket. disposable article basically
22lbs
Can I stick a flat bar on it…? 😉
explain the magnetic bag and how it mounts onto a carbon frame?
quadratisch praktisch gut
I would damn love to have this bike. Make some good miles on it. Just have to save sum money over the year tho…
SRAM AXS?
I really wanted a Grail, but I can't justify a gravel bike with only 5mm more tyre clearence than my road bike. This, on the other hand, looks wicked.
Hookless?
"built to party" !!
The one thing I do know is that I will never be able to afford one
You forgot to mention the two most important things the steer tube is still 1 1/4 instead of 1/8 and the bottom bracket is still press fit how are you gonna make an adventure bike that has proprietary stem standards and not a thread fit bottom bracket huge mess
Just put slicks and drop bars on a 90s/early 2000s mountain bike?
Why is the frame bag leaving a gap near the saddle? Drives my inner monk crazy 😂
Looks interesting. I still can't fully wrap my head around a bike that's ideal for neither road nor dirt, but that's a topic for another discussion.
Adveture bike 🎉
Its Carbon 🤢
Too many proprietary parts for wotld tour
TOO HEAVY~!
