Found this in the dumpster. Brought it home and realised its a e-bike. Battery and wires to the front wheel motor are cut. Looks like someone had tried to covert it to a normal bicycle unsuccessfully. Overall bike seems to be in ok condition apart from the rusty forks.
Need advice: Is it worth fixing it up? I was thinking of swapping the front wheel to a normal wheel without the motor and cleaning it up.
Unsure about the forks, will it work if I just clean of all the rust?
Back wheel has a Shimano Nexus 7, haven’t tested it as the tyres are flat but it seems to be working. Not familiar with the Nexus drivetrain are they reliable/ easy to service if needed?
